Extremely poor communication about a car I no longer had in my possession and poor directions about a deadline to get the title in. Fraudulent claims, rude employees, and generally a headache to deal with. They deserve to lose their contract with JSO. My vehicle was towed and impounded from the scene of an accident after being disabled by said accident. There was a 4.5 hr wait for the tow truck to arrive. Charged me $30 a day for 10 calendar days until I was able to get the towing covered by the insurance company. Then on the receipt provided by them, the reason for the tow was "abandoned vehicle". False, it was disabled and removed from the scene of the accident (per JSO). The provided receipt also said the vehicle was "drivable" False again. Here's where it gets really bad: After I spoke with the hostile receptionist, paid the dubious fees with cash. (they only accept cash, very shady). I requested that the vehicle be moved outside of the impound yard and into the publicly accessible parking lot so an outside towing company can recover my vehicle. They refused, claiming the vehicle was "drivable". IF IT WAS POSSIBLE I WOULD'VE NEVER NEEDED THE TOW IN THE FIRST PLACE. It's a scheme to try to force me to pay them an extra $240 to tow my car to a shop. Dealing with this company is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. They falsified information to tack on extra fees and will actively prevent a better tow company from picking up the vehicle. read more

We've used Wilson's exclusively when needing a vehicle towed and never had an issue. Tow truck driver's have always been great. Front office staff is pretty nice, occasionally abrupt when it's chaotic there. My vehicle was hit and the front tire snapped, insurance company totaled it and I had to remove all my things. I'm by myself injured but doing my best. I ask the man sitting in the air conditioned tow truck if he could help me get my tags off, he huffed and asked why? Because it's been totaled out due to the type of damage. He proceeds to hand me a flat head and Phillips head screw driver and rolls his window back up. In ALL the years of using them never have I experienced that level of lazy rudeness. Entitled jerk that must've had weekend tow call duty. I'm capable and pretty easy going but watching me try and wrangle things on my own knowing I needed assistance pissed me off. My daughter called and was like can you NOT help my mom she's not even supposed to be lifting that stuff. He's like, well she's almost done. Rude, rude rude. At 56 this is why I don't look for help because laziness is so rampant! Side note ( my husband was across the country helping our daughter at her place when all this happened or I would've had a real man there to assist me)! Run in the opposite direction. Do NOT take your vehicle here for repairs. My car was at Wilson's for front end repair. First time 3 weeks, with little communication. When I was finally told it was ready, the first words out of my mouth on seeing my car were "the bumper doesn't fit". I was told that is what the guy was working on and to come to the office to take care of paperwork/payment. After that, the bumper was no different and I was told it was the best they could do. The Geico adjuster had told Brian over the phone if anything wasn't right to let him know. That didn't happen. So, I scheduled to take it back for them to fix assuming g they had communicated for a different bumper. 5 days later, the bumper still was not a proper and they have "jacked up" my car so that it is difficult to reach the hood release and the hood no longer covers all seals properly. I had the Geico adjuster out to look at my car yesterday and he authorized additional funding for a different bumper, but as Wilson's took so long, I have used up my 30 days rental. I tried contacting Brian for a partial refund to cover the rentals for the 2nd time my car was there....to cover the cost of a rental to get the bumper replaced properly. I also suggested Geico should not have to pay for bumper to be painted again. His response.. he would pay for 2 days of rental - $100, after the repairs were done and I brought it to him to show proper fit. 2 days? So why did it take you so long? Proper fit? Fo you know what that is? Look at the pics of a properly fitting g bumper by their standards! Obviously I am now going the legal route!! Sadly good not give zero stars! What a crazy experience with this shop. It took them 8 days to complete my State Farm Claim for repair. The Customer Service Rep at the shop(Diane) needs to be replaced bc her communication skills are terrible. She questioned whether or not my hail damage was legitimate on the vehicle. After speaking with my Claims Adjuster it was determined that my damage was legit. I received a called to pick up my car and when I arrived, my car was still not ready and I had to wait. After leaving this Shade Tree Shop and arriving home, my quarter panel liner was hanging from the tire. The idiot tec forgot to tighten the screws so I had to take my car back again and deal with Aloof Diane. Bottom line is this, stay away from this joint. read more

A Good and Honest Towing and Body Shop. Get this they are re-finishing one of my surfboards for me. Find another body shop that can do that. It's a pop out board that has a automotive clear coat on it. I have known Brian, Tiffany, and Ryan for a while now. They come when they say they are going to. I have had other towing companies make me wait for many hours. Wilson's is a call and the next thing you know there they are. Honest that should speak volumes theses days. read more

My car was taken to Wilson's body shop from the place when my car was totaled out in a car accident. I want the next morning to get my tools as my son had a lot of tools in the truck however some of the tools had been stolen. The only place my truck and van was Wilson's body shop. I called The Body shop and spoke to Brian Wilson he said he was the owner and he refused to do anything he did not look around for my tools he will not ask employees about the tour and more or less told me I was just out of luck that he wouldn't do anything. read more

Water pump blew on my Dodge Pickup just North of Jacksonville. I happened to get off I-95 and pulled over at a BP Station. They had a sign about no parking over their gas tank fill hole or you would get "towed at your expense by Wilson Towing 904-751-2323." I considered it an ACTUAL SIGN and I called them. They came and got me and the truck and towed me to their Body Shop. The mechanic had my pump removed, replaced, and me back on the road in three hours. Most friendly and helpful staff! If we could give ZERO stars for service, we would. DO NOT use this facility!! They stole the GPS out of our daughter's truck, as well as a very sentimental picture. The owner, Brian Wilson told us "sorry, we don't make a habit of stealing stuff and we aren't taking responsibility for that" and he wouldn't even offer to ask his employees about the items. WORST customer service we ever had!! It took 6 weeks to have the bumper and valance repaired. And when we picked it up, there was a large chip in the bumper. And they did not repair the busted bug screen on the hood. Now that we are reading reviews - we see that we are NOT the only ones who get this kind of treatment and have had things stolen!! read more

do not use this shop. the owner is not reliable and he is a lies. my car was repaired from a september accident. when i got it back, i drove it and found out of town, i heard a scraping sound and made arrangements to take it back for him to check it out. he drove the car for less than 5 miles and said i don;t heat anything, this car is ok. i took the car back and several weeks later drove it out of town again, the noise got louder but i ignored it and kept driving it. leaving my dr. office i made a left turn and herd something dragging, it was the bumper hanging partially off the car. i had it towed to his shop, it was 2 days before thanksgiving. he did not look at it until today, december 2. he said he would call me but instead he called my state farm agent and asked for someone to assess it as a new incident. he was not man enough to call me and say what he did to the agent. he did not keep his word and when my son called he lied and said he had not talked to me. i would not take my child;s toy truck to him. be very careful and think 3 times before you take your car to him. alma f read more
