Paid 8400 to have my car fixed all cash and they cheated me and I never saw an invoice or parts sheet till it was all over I gave 2500 that I borrowed from my mother fur a new plastic bumper they never put on any new parts from what I've seen and the painting was terrible at best I went round and round with the owner and manager just total scam artists turned by car back 2 times to have my same bumper repaired and I'm over it ..they are illegal crooks that do bad busy work and painting and I have a million pics..not worth using them and all the drama so if your smart you will go somewhere else...to be clear some bondo and fiberglass and drippy painting beside the new led lights I paid for ...and if they reply back trying to justify this I will seek legal action .. read more

To make a long story short, this company and its owner are SCAMMERS! I had my vehicle towed to the establishment hoping to get the repair work done while also helping an African American small business. Instead I was violated! Once my car arrived at Reform Auto I received a phone call from owner Omar White who told me he would need a $3k cash deposit before he could start the repairs. I told him I would have the tow truck company come back and pick up my vehicle. Once the tow truck company came the owner would not relinquish my vehicle. Waited the next day and had to call the police which didn't help. Was told it was a civil matter. So I have contacted my lawyer. I was then told I would have to pay an administrative fee of $500 before I could receive my car. And since I had called the police it was an additional $500. I paid the $1k fees but I will be taking Mr. White to court in order to get my money back. He did nothing to my car not even a written estimate. He did NO repairs but wrote a receipt as if he did work on my vehicle. My advice to any one considering using this business "DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Replied to my review on Google from 3 years ago and says they have no record of me being a customer and called me a scam.... I can believe it because these people are just out to take your money! They told my insurance the same thing when they tried to get receipts for the parts that were "purchased" for my car. Please do not be fooled by the fake reviews these people are CROOKS!!!!! If I could rate zero I would! These people took my insurance money and halfway fixed my car with parts from a chop shop! When I asked for receipts of purchase I was attacked by the owners and mechanics and dragged out of the building by my hair. The owner Omar broke my friends arm and tried to STEAL my car! You feel that you are being over priced and given subpar parts for your car. NOT AT RF Finishings The Staff at RF Finishings has always been fair and given me excellent services to my cars. They explain everything thats getting done to your car and give an full invoice of parts and services. They also stick with a tight deadline. I want to start with a disclaimer that you won't believe what I'm about to write. My young daughter chose this place after an accident that I was letting her handle the repairs etc. She had expressed her concerns along the way regarding the owner calling her multiple times at work and having her come by to check on the car just to find out it wasn't finished. The owner kept getting into her business regarding her boyfriend and other personal matters. Note: she doesn't know this guy. So she picks up car and brings it home. It looks terrible and he didn't replace the damaged headlight or the bumper cover. He simply painted over the bumper despite being paid for replacement. Also had a big gap between hood and fender and had running paint that dried etc. Overall bad job. So I advise her to take it back and have them fix everything. I contacted the insurance company just in case. So he agrees to fix it correctly. While it's being fixed he is calling my daughter at work and on her cell phone and talking about how she needs to dump this boyfriend etc. This is a 47 year old man and my daughter is 20. He tells her the car is ready and for her to come and get it. She says her boyfriend will come and get it and he says no. So she calls me and I said I will go get it since my name is on the title. I show up and the car is not ready. One of the workers says I need to speak to the owner and to go into the office. So I go in and ask when the car will be ready. He starts telling me he doesn't know who I am etc. I tell him who I am and ask when the car will be ready. He starts telling me how my daughter needs to dump her bf etc. I try to stop him and say I just want to know about the car and when I can get it. He continues on talking about my daughter and her bf etc. So I say, look I don't care about all that and I am only interested in my car. This guy is obviously not a stable person and I just want to get the deal done and leave. He flips out and kicks me out of his office. I ask about the car again and he throws me off the property. I call the police and while I'm waiting by my car he comes over with four other guys to try to intimidate me and whatever else. The police show up and I tell them what's going on and that I only want to know when my car will be ready and if he is going to let me pick it up. He refused to answer either of those questions for about an hour. He finally agreed to let me come and get the car the next afternoon. The police advised me to get an escort because this guy is irrational and appears to be unstable. On my way home he calls my cell phone and begs me not to show up with the police. Sounded very suspicious and he kept wanting to talk about personal matters. So I call police for escort and show up to get car. The car pretty much looked like it did before only he replaced the headlight. I just took the car as-is and left. We ended up paying Coggin to repair it out of my own pocket. Poor workmanship and risky mentality. I wouldn't recommend women going there at all. Heed my warning!!! read more

This company took great care of my Oldsmobile Cutlass. They are professional and know exactly what they are doing not only that they go for what you want. Omar was very efficient on making sure the work was done in a timely manner and worked out great payments. They'd previously done work for my vehicle (Nissan Altima) when I had an accident and they took care of my car from point A to point B. These people are hassle free and professional. Just as the gentleman J.J. states in his review, I must say that this shop is one of the worst in Jacksonville. PERIOD. This place is absolutely TERRIBLE. Stay away at ALL costs. The owner, Omar, is a complete idiot and carries himself very unprofessionally. He also tried to blatantly commit insurance fraud by overpricing all of his bids to my insurance provider. I have alerted them of this and they are moving forward with investigating him. I carried my car there for a paint job and they held my car for two weeks. Whenever I would call in to get a simple update on progress, I was always treated as if I was bothering them by asking about MY car! What?! Everyone there is a bumbling idiot. I told him that his shop was a joke and he was very unprofessional and he decided to hold my deductible even though he told me he was waiving it. Omar White is a dishonest, unprofessional, pitiful excuse for a business man. I know a lot of people and I will make sure that they ALL know that this shop is trash.
