I went into the store to make a few purchases. Two cells people were busy and when I ask the lady behind the counter who was on the computer for help she was busy. I walked around a bit that went back to her and ask her if there was anyone that could help me. She was very unpleasant and seemed a bit irritated. She said it would be a minute so I continued looking around. Another couple came into the store and when I looked over I noticed her talking to them and helping them instead of telling them to wait a minute she was going to help somebody else. I waited a few more minutes. That is very unprofessional when one customer is waiting and they help newer customers. Folks.. someone needs to pinch me so I can be sure I'm not in a dream! I just got the most AMAZING Serta mattress from Wilson's, and for an unbelievably reasonable price; seriously, I was expecting to pay much more for a quality brand like this. The staff I interacted with treated me like I was a celebrity or a millionaire or something, and went as far as to carry a mattress down to the sales floor for me to try instead of having me struggle to climb the stairs (I'm older and have trouble walking) to try it -is that going the extra mile or WHAT?! Clearly they care about their customers! Also, I appreciate that there was a ZERO high-pressure sales tactic to entice me into buying something I couldn't afford; I was shown a beautiful piece, but when I said it was above my budget, the response was "Oh, okay, well what about this one?" instead of trying to convince me that it would only be a slightly higher monthly payment and all that sales jazz. The delivery was the next day (!!!wow!!!) right on time, the delivery crew was super friendly, and carried the mattress in with care; there wasn't so much as a speck of dust on the wrapper. I only bought the mattress; I have a box spring already that doesn't match the mattress color, so I covered it for the picture because I don't want anyone thinking that Wilson's sold me a mismatched set!!! read more

One can now disregard the negative review on here about Wilson Furniture. The store was sold and now managed by a different ownership since the last couple of years. I found this out by asking at the store when I bought my new lift chair. At the store I happened to be helped by the new owner who was a very nice man and VERY knowledgeable about everything in the store. He told me he had worked at the store for many years and bought out the old owner. Also, when I called prior to ask questions about lift chairs the lady that helped me on the phone was very nice and not pushy too. Now, about the chair............ OH, IT SAVED MY LIFE. I was having bad hip problems and could not get out and into bed without pain. Even sitting in my recliner in my front room was hurting me. I read somewhere that a lady that had hip problems had purchased a lift chair. I had to do something so I went for it. The owner went over all the lift chairs with me. They have the best stock in town. He even knew which one to purchase if I ever needed to be in a skilled facility and wanted to take it with me. I didn't know that skilled housing only accept a certain type of one with special material for easy clean up if you have an accident. This chair is a must for those with hip problems. It even lays back like a bed. I am now using it for my bed too. Thank you Wilson Furniture for helping me find a better life without pain. read more

Needed a new couch and ended up buying a couch and reclining love seat. Excellent staff, not too pushy but very helpful. Great value. Setup delivery and the two young men delivering the furniture were GREAT! Very polite and they made sure we were happy with our items before they left. Terrible customer follow through. I had to call the store to check on my furniture order 3 days AFTER it was suppose to arrive at the store for delivery. It was then that I was informed that it was delayed and would not even get to the store for another 6 weeks. I was not even going to buy from Wilson's because I did not want to order. I wanted to purchase something in stock. But the salesman was very convincing when he said it would "only be a month". I would not be so upset if I had received a phone call letting me know that the order was delayed. I work retail and know that keeping your customers informed and up to date on their order progress is vital to good customer service. A happy customer is a repeat customer. I am not a happy customer, nor will I be a repeat customer. Wilson's needs to hold their salespeople to a higher standard. In the meantime, I will continue to sit on my crappy chair and try to wait patiently for my couch that I didn't went to order in the first place... read more

We spent close to $4000 on a leather couch that started to peel off flakes just a year and a half later. When I called Wilsons to let them know about this, they said "oh that should be still under warranty, then three days later she calls back and says, it's actually not under warranty and here's a number of a repair service." I have to say that wilsons furniture really delivered. I am loving my new living room and the delivery crew was amazing. There was a bit of a miscommunication on how many pieces there were to my sectional, they didn't have all of it. But Dan and Corey were so friendly and kind about it. They actually drove all the way back to the warehouse and delivered it all the same day. And we live about 35min from wilsons. I know I would have not gotten that same service from other companies. I have had this experience with other furniture stores they were not as accommodating. All my future furniture purchases will be from Wilson's. read more

We went in and purchased a set of furniture from Wilson. We were supposed to be moving into a new house in 3 weeks to a month. They agreed to keep the furniture for us until the house was ready. The people living in the house was building a new house. It took 7 months for them to finally finish the house. Wilson had the furniture and there was no problems. They had to order another piece that wasn't in at the time we bought the set and they decided to sell us all pieces out of the new order so their would be no problem with color variance. They were very helpful and professional I would highly recommend using them. read more

The experience started off pretty good, nice showroom, nice salesperson. So we bought a big sectional, not the cheapest thing in the showroom either. We scheduled delivery a week out as we needed to get some work done. All was well. Fast forward a week.... We were called the day before delivery and told the delivery would be between 11-1. At 11:30AM I called the delivery phone number to check the status, but no answer. I called again and 12, no answer. At 12:45 they finally called me back and said they would be late because they had been given another last minute delivery. What! I scheduled my delivery a week prior, how did I get bumped by a 'last minute' delivery. Hey, it's Saturday, it's 80 degrees out, and I've got stuff to do! I called the store to express my frustrations and I got the sense they just didn't care. Delivery finally showed up 2:30PM. Delivery crew was nice and professional, and we love the sectional. BUT, it will be hard for me to do business with a company that just does not respect my time. read more

I've had good experiences with Wilson's. The owner, Bill, seems quite the good guy. I get the sense he really tires to keep customers happy. Within reason of course since it's a business that needs to pay its employees. We've bought lots of stuff the over the last six years, first furnishing my office and then my home. We have purchased two dinning sets in the last 5 years. The furniture is quality and not only does Wilsons stand behind it, so do the manufacturers. That is the only reason that I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 or none. The staff always seem to be put out if you have questions or concerns. We were there today. I was buying a mirror. One of the sales ladies came up to my sales person in the middle of the computer transaction. And said I need to look at something on here. She couldn't wait, find another computer? Not even a may I please interrupt you? So then we had questions about a patio umbrella. The lady that helped (same one that took over the computer) was totally rude. I was asking how the umbrella tilted. She insisted that we push the button that wasn't there. (I am not dumb or poor on vision or mechanical skills). Wow! Wilson's was so amazing to us. We purchased a couch right before the holidays and there were a couple of hiccups with shipping but Steve our awesome Salesman, did everything in his power to help us fill our home with borrowed furniture. He saved our seating situation for Christmas!! I ended up hating the couch I ordered and he was so patient and kind. I went here in search of a hide-a-bed sofa. I am one who likes to walk the entire store just to see what they have. They have the largest selection of recliners I have ever seen. Every kind, every color and very large cushy to small wall hugger sizes. Also a huge selection of unique outdoor and patio furniture. I walked around for approximately twenty minutes before being approached by a salesperson. I appreciated being allowed to leisurely browse without being solicited or pressured. They have a nice selection of sofas but unfortunately not one that fit my criteria. I noted that they carry moderately priced name brands like Stanley, Lane, etc. I will be returning as it is a fun place to shop for quality furniture at an affordable price. read more

Pretty much every Canadian who has ever crossed the border to go down the I-5 has seen this place right off the highway. Seems like the locals hate this place but I'm with the Canadians here. I thought Wilson's was great. My wife and I moved into a new place and were looking for a rug. We found something nice at Ashley Furniture but it was $359 CAD. A quick Google search and I found Wilson's was selling it for $250 USD. I made a call using Google (free BTW for the person in Sherwood Park complaining about long distance) and spoke to a nice guy named Darren. I asked him to put one on hold as I was coming on the weekend. When I arrived, he never physically found it but the only one they had left was the display model in the outlet store behind the actual store. They sold it to us for $89. What a deal. So much a deal that when I reported the total value of goods coming back to Canada (we spent $200 that day), the border agent said, "even with the rug???" From my short time in the store, it looked like they had decent furniture at good prices. The sales person Darren was knowledgeable about some of the other products I asked him about. Unfortunately they don't ship to Canada. That would be so great as we would have got our sectional there if they did. read more

Disappointed with this store. I went there with a list of recliners I was interested in and was told they don't sell Ashley furniture??? Then why is that mostly what you see when you go to their site. Because it gets you in the door thinking they have affordable furniture. I ordered an expensive recliner, waited 8 weeks and found the workmanship of this chair NOT worth the price I paid. Will never go there again. Were very pleased with the excellent customer service, high quality of the furniture, and the delivery service. So when we returned to the area for the summer, we went back to Linda. She generally works the Outlet Center, so we stopped there first. Found a few items, at deeply discounted prices. Since I had worked with her via email earlier this week giving her some ideas as what I was looking for she researched other available products, and we found exactly the right product at a great price. Needed one more item, as narrow chair side table, she helped us look through the entire Outlet Center and the main store. And yes, we found the perfect piece. My wife and stopped in here on a whim because we had seen it on the side of the road off of the I-5 on the way to our monthly grocery trips to Costco in Bellingham. We went in and looked around and was truly amazed with the great selection of styles and colors of fabrics to choose from. Yes they are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Sarah Beth was extremely courteous, helpful, and not at all like a typical pushy sales person. She allowed my wife and I to wander about. Keep in mind we had been looking for a sofa and matching sectional for a long time now. So when we did finally decided on the one, we had questions about what to expect as far as wait time (UGH 6 weeks). Ok no worries, it's worth the wait. We then had wonderful options to choose from, with regard to the fabric selection and the fabrics for the accent pillows. When the furniture comes, we will need to rent a U-haul truck and make our way down and pick it up. Let's see if all goes well. I'll update you all when that happens and see if they deliver the goods as promised and paid for in full by the way. I'm glad we stopped in. Go see Sarah Beth, she's awesome. Over the last few years we have bought several pieces of furniture from Wilson's. Most recently, we purchased a bedroom set & a tv console. After we got home & unboxed the furniture we noticed the corners of one of the nightstands were slightly damaged. We spoke with the manager, expecting to have to argue our case to get the nightstand replaced since we brought them home, they were not delivered by Wilson's. Instead, there were no questions asked! They ordered a new nightstand and said we could just swap it out. A few days later we decided the color of the TV console wasn't quite right in our home. We called to see about exchanging it for another piece & once again...no questions asked! We have had the furniture about a week. Wilson's very easily could have told us no to both things & we would have completely understood! They have far exceeded our expectations & will continue to get our business.
