It's in the middle of a major renovation so, there was a large tent where the women's and men's clothing was located and you couldn't get to the giant boot for a photo - but they had a temporary option set up with their boot car. Cute. I loved walking through the Home and Outdoor stores and shopping for items I've never seen in person before. This is a very nice corporate headquarters and flagship office area. Staff are, of course, so welcoming and friendly - with two of them even giving us dining recommendations. BTW, boat bags can be monogrammed in 2 hours. The whole place is HUGE, divided into separate buildings (outdoors/home/clothing/etc) so make sure you leave time. I was shocked to find the main building is open 24/7. Some things are ridiculously overpriced (Internet search!), and I willingly paid... because I wanted to. Many of the quality items, IYKYK, are completely worth it because you'll own them for life. I still own mocs from my uni days.

Two things of note immediately: 1) is there ANY organization to this store?, because it sure doesn't seem like it, and... 2) it had a real post-Black Friday feel to it with clothing and accessories discarded in piles everywhere. I don't blame the staff for that necessarily, as I watched loads of customers literally abandoned piles of stuff wherever they wanted when they realized, I guess, they didn't actually want to buy them. Also, another reviewer mentioned the lack of staff at the Fitting Rooms; this actually felt very normal (at least it is in other parts of the world from what I've experienced) , so I appreciated just being able to help myself to a room whenever I wanted (...granted, they were also messy with customer's deserted stuff). In the end, on this particular occasion, I left with two items: a very cute, white sweater with golden sparkly thread AND a fantastic little black dress. Pricetag? Under $50. And the person at the cash register was SO friendly and engaging; she gave me an enormous brown paper bag for free when she saw I had been toting around all my Kitchen Store Outlet stuff in my arms. I don't know that I'm rushing back here anytime soon, but if I'm in the area and I've got the time to explore, I'd come back to see what gems might find me! But I wouldn't come back intentionally looking for a specific item.

They have a large selection of items, but I couldn't find a button up shirt for my step-son. You would think button-ups would be a common items to find and not a single one. I found 32 options for sweaters and 40 options for sweatshirts, but not a single button up shirt. The staff is non-existent around the fitting room, so customers are always having to go find someone to unlock a door. The value of some of the items is reasonable, when it's on sale, but the headache of having to sort through unorganized sizes and color is just not worth it in my mind.

The manager of the store seemed genuinely concerned when I wrote an email but more wants to save the reputation of her store. They could have made another grand easily but the old woman with the blonde/white hair made me uncomfortable so I left with very little. This is very an unprofessional and inappropriately run outlet. I did my usual walk around the entire store to take it all in and then go back and start picking up the ones I like, trying them on in front of the mirror and asking for opinions. You need to speak up for yourself and not let the lack of assistance scare you from shopping here. If you don't look approachable, you'll be left alone. But if you smile and make eye contact, you'll be helped and sometimes you still need to ask. Left here with two purses and a wallet and have no regrets! Can always find a classy or trendy piece here and as usual, at a killer price!
