I had to reschedule at the last minute, but they were flexible and we set up another time a day later. On the day, they arrived on time and knew exactly what to do. We have just had to let Wilver go. We inherited his service when we bought our house a few years ago. He was initially great but then became less and less responsive. And now that we rent the house through a management company it has become impossible as he never responds in a timely fashion and we have had guests furious because they could not get a problem fixed promptly. Final straw was when the spa jets stopped working several weeks ago. I texted him and called him and still to this day have heard nothing. The new pool company we hired told us there was a leak that once repaired resolved the problem quickly. The new company also found red warning lights on the salt system and upon testing, almost zero salt in the pool. Wilver's guy had just thrown a bunch of chlorine tablets in the skimmer box and did nothing about the salt. Other problems recently have included black algae in the pool that I had to beg for weeks for him to address; putting so much chlorine in our fountain that it melted all of the copper pipes and I had to do a major repair of it; but most of all the failure to communicate and not respond to our texts and calls. A terrible way to treat clients and a terrible way to run a business. We strongly suggest others look elsewhere for pool service. read more

I reached out repeatedly to wilver to correct damage his crew did to my home in Palm Springs. His pool plaster pump hose exploded and coated my walkway, trees, plants ,decor, roof with a blast of BRIGHT WHITE permanent cement 100 feet long and about 20 feet wide! I have waited and reached out to him and this is my warning to potential clients. We had an emergency with our pool at our rental for the weekend. Algae/mold in the pool! Our pool was turning green right before our very eyes. We called about 15 different companies to get the pool serviced and were beginning to lose hope. Apparently, the property management company uses him all of the time and he is one of the best around. He was professional and knowledgeable. WOW - BEWARE -DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - COMPLETE FRAUD. All the other reviews are correct, Wilver's service is a fraud. Not only did he not show up as agreed upon (would skip days almost weekly), but even worse, he sold me two different products that were not new but completely used. He charged me $4300 to put in a "NEW HEATER" even though I had just bought one two years prior. Well the new heater he installed broke and when I couldn't get ahold of him, I had a diff pool man go look at it and I was told it was an old used heater he had installed (I have pics) . It cost me $2800 to then repair it and he refused to give me my money back until I gave him the heater back (which I had to have fully repaired for guests that were at the house). Further, he changed both lights in spa and pool ($800) and within a month both were broke and one had water in it due to faulty installation - by him! He later tried to blackmail me and said he had pictures of water in the pool light and would send the city - who does that? Does a terrible repair and then tries to cover it up by blackmail of the terrible repair. Talk about a life saver. I have a vacation rental and I woke up in the morning at 8am my pool heater was not working and I had guest checking at 3pm. I called at10am talked to Wilver he told me he could come by 12 I told him I need him sooner her said he will be there at 11. And he was there at 11am. They worked on my heater all day. And time was ticking. At 3:45 my guest checked in at 4:00pm I got a called from him informing me they fixed my heater.if you ever have any pool issues if they can't fix it and then u need a new one. Hired Wilver's pool service to clean my grandmas jacuzzi which hasn't been used for a few years now and I must say they did an excellent job. With the busy summer I was surprised I was able to get an appointment within the same week, they replaced some material that were no longer working which wasn't inexpensive but very reasonable and jacuzzi repairs don't come cheap either way. i hired him last Feb, and he came across nice guy so i let him maintain my pool n spa as a new homeowner. Gave him a high rating. WOW! What a mistake,and he took me for big $(I M 84 yrs old,live by myself. I just discovered upon my return(I am here only Oct- May) that his bills for mo. service are,in my opinion, FRAUDULENT!! I asked to see him personally and to bring his billings. He merely said he would meet me on Tues but i sent him 2 texts re ti.e, and he refused to answer so i gave up on him and hired a new guy. Turns out, Wilvur claims "I showed up, but you were not home". i told him that is because u never gave me a time. I fired Wilver, and the new guy discovered: NO conditioner was added--Wilver billed me ,claiming he added it past summer. The main spa valve was BROKEN and must be replaced. The new SALT SYSTEM for which I paid Wilver to buy and install, has shown EMPTY,NEEDS SALT and probably has been that way "for MONTHS!!". Yet Wilver has billed me for it. If Wilver would have been responsive to his text the non English speaking assistant would not have been of concern. He did not vacuum the pool every visit as promised. The worst pool man we ever had. Beware Wilber is a sweet talker. Promises the sun and the moon and never follows through. He never even learned our phone numbers. Never, not once checked the pool chemicals. Our new guy showed us how all of the chemicals were severely off. Wilver has no respect for your property. Asked him not to leave gates open, close timer box, replace hose nozzles when finished, and he still did not. He took a small sledge hammer we use to open the pump valve lid. He said it was an accident. How do you accidently walk out with a sledge hammer? Final straw was when he left the pool gate open, children and dogs could drown. read more

I reached out to WIlver to get a quote on fixing my pool light, converting to salt, and getting a remote. We agreed for a time for him to come by the following day. He was a no show for agreed upon time. After reaching out multiple times I texted that I wasn't impressed with his level of professionalism when he knew I cleared time from my work schedule. Sure enough he texts back that his phone got wet and had to get a new one and will be at my house tomorrow (red flag- I texted him my address the previous day and he didn't ask for it again. Hinting either his phone was fine or he wrote down my address. In any case he still could have showed up for original scheduled appointment). Wilver then shows up the following day and cannot give me firm pricing on anything and will get back to me within 48 hours with a quote. Avoid using this company! We haven't even started any work and they have already shown poor service and complete lack of care. It's been a week and we still haven't received our estimate. The owner sent one of his guys to get measurements of our pool area. The guy comes unannounced after business hours at 6 pm. He just took an eye ball look at our pool area without taking any measurements. We messaged the owner for the estimate and have not had any response. Instead, his guy comes unannounced *again* knocking at our door at 7:30pm to drain our pool! This scared our dogs and was so disruptive and concerning. We told him that we have not agreed to any work and that right now is not a good time. While I was telling him this, he was on his phone the entire time talking to someone else!
