I was not made aware of their visit until a month later, when I received the report and saw the pictures. I also have dogs, and I have no idea how they handled that situation while they were on my property. There was absolutely no justification for entering my backyard without contacting me first. If they had reached out to schedule a visit, I would have willingly allowed access for the photos. Instead, they chose to disregard my privacy and trespass on my property. And the worst thing is, they didn't even put the wood back securing my gate

This year after…read moretwo roof leaks, we found out that our roof is water damaged and missing slant decking so severe you there are holes as large as 6 feet wide and are completely bare with only shingles and underlayment showing and have sunlight coming in. He walked inside the attic and unless he was blindfolded or legally blind, there is no way he physically did not see the holes the size of himself or the sunlight pouring in from outside. He is lazy and incompetent and will give you a false report on your home. We are now in a home that we are over our heads in because Chad couldn't do a job that he was paid to do. Do yourself a favor and please use any other home inspector in the state of Colorado.

They found that…read morethe Pillar-to-Post inspector was mistaken, and the damper was working fine, though a little sticky, which may have thrown him, so they didn't charge me for that. They cleaned the as-it-turns-out very dirty chimney, told me a couple pending problems and what it would cost to fix them, without trying to upsell me that day. Very good. The price was exactly what they'd told me ($199), both guys were nice, professional, covid-safe, and efficient, and they certified my fireplace for use. They also promised to call in the spring for the other things, should I choose to do them.

I had trusted A Clean Sweep to continue doing a good job after I had already used them several…read moretimes to clean out my stove pipes from built up soot. But when they installed a new stove, only one person showed up and he was new and ended up dropping the stove because he couldn't get it up the stairs on the deck. After the install, the stove has leaked, causing my windows to smoke up and the carbon monoxide detector to go off. And the worst part is, Randy won't take responsibility for it and so I am being forced to file a complaint with Larimer County and take legal action.

The scheduling team was also awesome and they helped pivot days/times of availability. Customer service and check ins by the team after the inspection were nice - shows the team/company cares.

Our first inspection by Scott's was excellent. Extremely detailed & in depth. That's why we came…read moreback. The most recent one was a different story. The inspector seemed to gloss over many things & tried to downplay issues without evidence. We were called prior & told our inspector would take only two hours to finish an inspection that normally takes longer -- I think he glossed over many things as a result. Specifics we found after moving in that a visual inspection should have caught: * An interior door on the second floor with visible crack/damage from being forced. The report says interior doors were tested. This one isn't noted anywhere. * Mouse droppings under the kitchen sink -- a cabinet he opened & photographed -- & elsewhere in the home. No mention in the report. We now have an active rodent problem we didn't know about at closing. * The front door handle sticks & fights you when unlocking. Entry door locks & latches are explicitly listed as inspected in his own report. On top of that, three window coverings fell off the wall the first time we pulled the cords. Technically outside inspection scope -- but it speaks to the overall condition of a house we were told had basically nothing wrong with it. The in-person review made it worse. We were told there was basically nothing wrong with the house, & our questions were treated as an inconvenience. He seemed annoyed, arrogant & unkind. When asked, he explicitly said he didn't see evidence of mice -- verbally & on the report -- leading me to believe he was lazy & sped through it. Not characteristics of a great inspector. His own report lists 59 maintenance items & 8 repair recommendations -- so the verbal summary & the written report told two different stories. When I hire an inspector, I'm more impressed by people who are nit picky than forgiving. This is a huge purchase so I prefer someone who's kind, willing to take the time to make sure he doesn't miss anything at all & looks out for us. There are less expensive inspectors out there who are less forgiving than Scott's was this time around. I pay for anal retentive. That was not my experience. Worst of all? I asked for a refund & they flat out refused. It's possible they could do the same for you. I don't think we'll use Scott's ever again. I wouldn't recommend them & ESPECIALLY not Todd Brualdi for inspection services. I'm disappointed in Scott's leadership. Once upon a time, (in my opinion) it felt like a well ran firm that cared about their clients. That's not my opinion, anymore.

Overall Satisfaction: I love my Baessler home , but I have had 2 issues that have not been resolved…read moreand it's not acceptable. 1-No drywall in my garage after I was informed by Weld county what it is required in all new builds. 2-My LG dishwasher is trash.It has not been functional since approx 11-24-2025.Repair tech came to 'fix'it and that lasted 3 days. I asked for a new service appt and was ignored until the approaching Baessler survey was impending. The dishwasher is NEW - it shouldn't be non-working. I have done research and the 'AE' error code is apparently common w the LG unit - not a good sign. Also, the LG tech who 'repaired' the unit in December 2025 told me that the unit wasn't properly installed. If thhis upcoming 'repair' doesn't work I will be requesting a new unit. I have a dishwasher that does not work - it is frustrating bc (again) it's a new appliance and I've never had issues w operating a dishwaher before. I think LG has a trash appliance and I'm pretty freaking tired of having to wash dishes by hand when I Have A Dishwasher ! The appliance service company is also trash - they didn't have a correct telephone number tl notify me of my upcoming appt - REALLY ? The previous tech had my correct telephone number , as does the residential services company. They also claimed to be waiting on parts,etc. That's BS - how do they know what parts are needed if they didn't follow up w the previous tech. And if they did - why didn't they have the correct tele # ? EXHAUSTED by the incompetence and gaslighting . Tired of washing dishes and tired of looking at my non-compliant garage walls. Baessler Homes - DO BETTER ! I'm over y'all. Happy New Year and I hope you're treating other folks better - cause this aint it. Customer Care/Service Experience: Totally un-satisfied at this point.
