First of all, we were on a very tight schedule and needed to get our inspection done quickly. The inspector, Josh, came in on a Sunday afternoon and did a very thorough inspection. He talked to me throughout so I always knew what he was doing and why he was doing it. He also gave me a lot of recommendations for things to make our condo more user-friendly. He answered all of my questions and explained things to me in a way that I could understand with my very limited knowledge of all things related to the construction and inner-workings of a home. We had blocked out a time for roughly four hours but because our condo was pretty small, it didn't take Josh that long. In light of this, Josh readjusted the price so I ended up paying less than I expected. He also explained other available services but was very upfront with me about them not being necessary for my particular unit in an effort to save me money and not waste any of my time. I really appreciate that this is a company who is honest and fair and not out to take advantage of people like me who are clueless when it comes to this field. Finally, Josh was super diligent in getting home and getting our report written up and submitted so that we were able to make our closing on time. Everyone was about 200+ higher than his quote was for my home. He had a VERY competitve price, which made me weary but his reviews online were flawless, so I chose to hire him and this was a very wise decision. Columbus, Ohio : My daughter had Randy do the home inspection for her home in Indian Hills last…read morespring. The bathrooms were full of mold and he never found it or put it on his report. As a result, my daughter moved in and had a water issue within the first week. When she had the plumber out to figure out the problem, she had to pay over $6.000 to have the walls torn out in all 3 bathrooms. She has yet to completely finish the bathrooms since the walls and flooring had to all be removed in order to take care of the mold issue. When we advised Randy of this problem, he did nothing. He would not submit this claim to his insurance. He pretty much washed his hands of the entire issue.
