First off, Forte Home Inspections, LLC is licensed and certified to not only complete your standard home inspection services (general, pest, etc) but, also your Radon diagnostic testing (which is a VA Home Loan requirement). This alone sets Ed and Forte Home Inspections, LLC apart from all the other competitors. Everyone we called used a separate contracted Radon inspector that would have to come in and set up after their initial home inspection was complete making the whole process even longer. It was nice to have one home inspector that could do it all. In addition to the Radon inspection, Ed also brought along a gas leak detector to check all the HVAC fittings, there was nothing that was left to chance :) Furthermore, Ed made accommodations to fit our narrow scheduling window and understood our sense of urgency. While pointing out the larger details to even the smallest, there was no question that Ed had our best interest in mind. We were extremely pleased, though not surprised, that our final home inspection report was just as detailed and thorough as the actual inspection. The report was precise and succinct. All areas that would need to be addressed were itemized and included detailed descriptions and accompanying photos. Ed, was by far a great home inspector. He really works for you and he is very professional. He took his time and was very detailed with his photos and note. I have used him to inspect two homes. In the first home, Ed was very through he found lots of electrical issues and water issues. He went on the roof. He takes a lot of photos and he also give you a report less than 24 hrs. He goes over every major and minor issue in the house. I've known a few other people that used Ed to inspect there homes, these people were just as please.
