Stay away from this company. His agent, Paul Hinkle, represented the seller in a home that my…read morehusband and I purchased. He was shady from the start. He scheduled our home inspection at the same time that termite technicians were actually fumigating the house! Even the home inspector that we hired sent an email telling us that Hinkle was "without ethics." The home inspector noted a problem with moisture under the sink due to an air gap problem with the dishwasher. We asked for it to be repaired (among other things, including a leak in the toilet of the guest bath. The sellers agreed to have them repaired. Well...9 days after we moved in, the dishwasher flooded our kitchen! We move in on 11-7. The flood occurred on 11-17-right before the Holidays! We got out homeowner's insurance people out the same day. I sent the sellers an email asking who they used to "fix" the air gap problem as it failed miserably! The seller's brother told me that "the real estate agent (Hinkle) did it!!! HINKLE HAD NO BUSINESS MAKING REPAIRS!!! We called a plumber and he said that the air gap was a disaster and found the the seal for the guest toilet was leaking as well! So much for repairs done by a real estate agent! The entire kitchen floor had to be pulled up and we lost all of our cabinets-upper and lower. They found both mold and asbestos in the walls!!! The entire kitchen had to have of the mold and asbestos removed by men in "Hazmat" outfits. We had no kitchen at all (no sink, no oven, no cook top, no counters) until 1 week before Christmas when our construction company graciously provided us with a temporary kitchen. Luckily, our insurance paid for the remediation and construction. The plumber came out of our pockets. He also failed to make several repairs that were requested and agreed to by the sellers, who moved out of state. I kept his broker, Tom Kellner of Kellner and Sons Properties apprised and advised him that HIS AGENT Paul Hinkle caused the flood by his negligence. Kellner couldn't have cared less. Our homeowners insurance have informed me that they are planning to sue Hinkle, Kellner, and the sellers. BOTH KELLNER AND HINKLE ARE LOSERS THAT DON't STAND UP LIKE PROFESSIONALS AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!! STAY AWAY!!!
