Orange chicken and fried rice from the deli section
    Stephanie B.

Convenient, 24-hour location near several major roads (e.g. Kings, Circle, Walnut) with plenty of parking. Huge, well-stocked store with a lot to offer - I've bought everything from salad mix to printer paper here. This is a great place to do your grocery shopping on a budget. In addition to standard grocery store offerings, this WinCo has a deli counter, seafood counter, bakery, beer cave (no liquor sold here), and a large wine section that features wines from local vineyards. The aisles near the deli section have an ample selection of pre-cooked/prepped lunch options such as fried chicken, sushi, burritos, sandwiches and wraps. Checkout lines can occasionally get long, but move quickly. As is the case with most WinCo locations, you bag your own groceries. Credit cards not accepted here (debit is ok). Tell the checker your desired number of bags and you're good to go! Doing my grocery shopping is pretty much a breeze here.

WinCo was a staple growing up in Corvallis. For grocery shopping with mom, hanging out with friends, hoping to run into cute boys from school, and in college, for cheap groceries. Things (despite a name change from Cub Foods in the late 90's) are mostly the same. I tend to come back here once when I'm in town, for nostalgia or a grocery fix. The bulk section is noteworthy and the produce section seems large in comparison to some stores. It's not fancy like Market of Choice , but decidedly serves a need for the community.

Very Disappointing Experience with the JEWELRY DEPARTMENT!!!!!!!…read more I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Fred Meyer's jewelry department. I purchased a rose-gold, ring with a teardrop opal, and within a few months, the opal fell completely out. I eventually found the stone and brought it in for repair and resizing. Unfortunately, when I received it back, the repair was poorly done and the ring was actually hurting my lady's finger. She has worn it fewer than five times since we bought it originally and after we got it back. Also never left the house and stayed in a box (we just finally noticed why it's hurting and not in good shape) I was eventually told the ring was too damaged to repair, and employees acknowledged that the previous repairmen were not good!! What makes this even more frustrating is the manager's response. I was told, "I am the one who checks rings and wouldn't let this slide." Yet it clearly did slide, and I felt there was no real accountability for how the ring was returned to us. I asked for a contact above the manager and was told that information was confidential. so there was no one above her that I could speak with directly. I later asked if they could call me, only to be told they were on vacation and, if they did call, it would be a in "incognito mode." Phone number...So honestly, I feel like a hopeless customer. I can't speak to anyone above the manager, and upper management feels completely inaccessible--and truthfully, a bunch of crooks hiding under rocks. I understand their standard return/exchange policy, and I take full responsibility for not addressing the issue sooner. I'm a truck driver and frequently away for work, which contributed to the delay. On the day I brought the ring in, I checked Fred Meyer's website beforehand and saw the stated 60-day return and 90-day exchange policy, so I understood that I was outside the normal window. Also at the store I was told it's actually 30 days, however the stores website at this location stated 60-90 day exchanges. I also understand that Fred Meyer Jeweler has contracts and policies they have to follow. However, I don't believe having a contract should mean customers can't have other issues considered when something like this happens. This wasn't buyer's remorse--the ring failed, was repaired, and came back in unacceptable condition. They offered me everything except a full refund, including exchanges. I didn't want another ring, nor did I want this ring back because I genuinely believe there is a design flaw. I worried that if I exchanged it, I would only end up back in the store asking for repairs again. I even tried to settle for another of the ring but asked for a free warranty going forward, especially after being told the previous repairmen "were not good." Instead, I was offered a gift card to Fred Meyer... I didn't spend this much money for grocery's.... it's my lady's proposal ring. I'm not here looking for a gift card to buy a bunch of groceries. I want to feel respected and understood based on my experience as a customer. At this point, I don't want another repair or exchange. I wanted a fair resolution to a situation that was not simply me changing my mind about a purchase. This was supposed to be a meaningful proposal ring, and Fred Meyer's jewelry department has turned it into an incredibly frustrating experience. I expected much better. To anyone ever considering Fred Meyer Jewelers, I wish you nothing but the best. But there are much better people to work with. Harry Ritchie's is the GOAT, and I honestly wish I had never considered this place to begin with. This is absolutely my last purchase ever from this business. Horrible across the board. Godspeed, and hopefully nobody else runs into an unfair situation like mine, because when you do, your gonna be locked in and not understood- I don't want anything to do with this business again so I simply excepted the same ring (new) resized. No warranty. I will get repairs from someone else. Goodbye Fred Meyer jewelers and not another dollar more.

They don't hire reputable efficient employees so the turn over is high and the customers pay the price by having to deal with people that should never be in a service industry. "Would you like fries with that" would be a difficult task for them and mental midget control freaks hired as managers that think it's their domain to do whatever they want. Beware of best by dates on products, either they don't keep up with inventory tracking or they expect to profit off of it no matter how long it has to stay on the shelves. They have a deranged sense of scheduling. Closing early and stopping people from coming in 15 min to close so their employees can walk out at the top of the hour like their schedule says and being disrespectful to anyone who cares coming in in the last 1/2 hour of the day. The money they are spending is keeping you afloat!!!
