    Lavash bread
    Lael B.

This is a market, not a restaurant. There is fresh produce, frozen items and lots of imported items in jars or boxes. They have lots of imported candies. They have fresh lavash and cracker breads. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Old dried out butt end of salami

It is surprising how much variety they can pack into one store, but buyer beware! If you buy from the case and you are not paying attention, they may sell you an old dried-out butt end of salami at full price. The bulk nuts were old and rancid.

    Lots of great Armenian products!

Cozy deli and market. They have a lot of quality Armenian foods and some other middle eastern products too. They carry fresh fruit and vegetables along with freshly baked bread every other day. Not the most extensive selection, but it fits my needs

I ordered our dinner for pickup and noticed that the decor here is a little dated, but very cozy. They also have a nice shaded outdoor patio. My wife and I got the steak kabob plates and my kiddos shared a chicken plate. We also got a side salad along with a hummus appetizer. The plates are lacking in the protein department. Our steak skewers only came with two pieces of steak per-skewer. They covered the plates with sauteed veggies to kind of hide that. Even lacking protein everything was well seasoned. The pilaf was a little overcooked, but I prefer that to dry pilaf. The hummus portion was huge and the owner, who helped me, was super sweet and offered me a free to-go box of fried pita chips for hummus dipping. My kids loved these! My kiddos also really liked the chicken and rice as well. I'd love to dine in and see if the protein portions are different and enjoy that patio to people watch.

We were a little apprehensive at first but it was cool. They had some serious display refrigerators. They were a lot of help giving us advice depending on what we liked. It is pricey but these are very unique snacks. We bought pizza Pringles, Icee cherry candies, meat flavored Cheetos. You get the idea. We paid them with Venmo and everything went well.

The guy running the place was very friendly and welcoming. He's only been open since April so a lot of people probably haven't heard of this store yet, but it's got a great central location on Blackstone near Bullard. Parking was very convenient, right in front of the store. The store is set up nicely by category (noodles, cookies, chips, candy, drinks, etc.). It's easy to find what you're looking for, and if you have any questions, the owner is very helpful. Right now, there's a lot of room in the store to add even more snacks, because the owner's plan (wise, I think) is to start with a few different things, see what's popular, and build accordingly). He mentioned that the chocolate Ritz crackers are popular (I can see why -- very yummy), so no doubt he'll continue to stock those. Also he mentioned expanding to other types of snacks as he fills his store. That's a good idea. See what the people want, right? And add more as your business grows. He mentioned getting some Mexican snacks in the store, and that makes a lot of sense. I bet there's a market for those -- we always like Mexican candy. He also has a "mystery box" option -- and that looks very fun, so go check that out. It would be a good gift for someone who likes to try new foods, or for a hard-to-buy-for person. Your gift recipient might have a lot of things, but you know they don't already have lobster flavored potato chips! On today's trip, we got the chocolate Ritz, mango Oreos (both delicious!), roasted garlic oyster potato chips (oysters are not my thing, but my daughter said the chips tasted _exactly_ like roasted garlic oysters), and a couple of drinks. We only tried one of the drinks so far -- the peach flavored one -- we were expecting a "fruit flavored drink" but it was more like actual juice, with pulp. That was a nice surprise. It was very good. The only other thing to mention is that the snacks are a bit expensive, so you need to expect that, but that's not too surprising right? There's not the volume, in a small snack store specializing in items you can't get anywhere else, that would allow them to match the same prices as, say, FoodMaxx can get from plain old Lay's chips, you know? So expect to pay more, but these are really fun treats. I hope lots of people will go check out this store. There's nothing else like it in Fresno! Support a unique local business!

Sesame balls can be too doughy sometimes these were perfect, fluffy and right amount of sweetness. Egg rolls were not old or greasy. They were stuffed proportionately with meat and veggie. I bought some Korean corn dogs with cheese in the frozen section. I haven't made them yet but I'm sure they will great once we fry them.
