Sure enough no more than 10 mins he was there. (I have waited hours before for something even simpler , and always felt like it was an inconvenience) Louis though made sure the service he was called for not only came first but also he made sure my safety was above all else . As soon as he got there he looked and asked some questions . I have never been in an accident like this and without even asking he gave me his best knowledge and advice what the best option would be, but also never felt like he was out for money or looking to scam. My 20 year old daughter needed her car towed home from a shop less than a mile from our home. She called road side assistance shortly after 2:00 pm. Our insurance contracted with Wind'n sea towing, and we received a text stating that they would meet us at 3:19 pm. At 3:30 pm, we contacted Wind'n Sea to confirm an ETA. We were advised it would be another hour. At 4:20 pm we received a text saying that the tow truck would meet us at 5:58 pm. At 6:00 pm I again contacted Wind'n Sea towing and was told it would be another hour. At that point I called another tow service and paid out of pocket. Within 20 minutes the truck had arrived and had my daughter's car hooked up and headed home. At 7:20 pm we received another text from Wind'n Sea towing advising it would be another hour!!!! This was my second experience with this company, and unfortunately both have been very negative. I was in an accident and needed a tow immediately. I called at about 1:45 p.m. for a flatbed tow, but when they arrived at 2:24 p.m., the truck already had another vehicle on it. They tried to do a wheel-lift tow instead--something they did to me previously that caused major damage (brakes, bearings, etc.), which turned into a very costly repair. I called back specifically requesting a flatbed tow, but they didn't show up again until 4:40 p.m.--nearly three hours later. When the driver, Rudy G., finally arrived, he said he couldn't tow the car to a house, only to their storage yard (which means extra $$$) or a body shop. My mechanic works out of his home shop, so this was completely unacceptable. It felt like a scam designed to force customers into spending more money. I ended up having to call AAA and complain just to get my vehicle towed to my personal mechanic. On top of all this, the driver was unprofessional and not courteous. This is, without a doubt, the worst service I have ever received. The lack of professionalism and communication from this company is astonishing, which is every bit of their 2.9-star rating. My issue began 9/17/25 at 5:40 PM, with a call for a tow. The first technician was professional and quickly diagnosed my car's dead battery. He called to send someone out who handles the batteries. His arrival time was for 7:18 PM. When the second, incredibly rude technician arrived, he looked at the battery but refused to remove the engine cover to check for the AAA sticker. He insisted that my battery was not from AAA and pretended to check his system, claiming it didn't show my battery was from AAA. When I stated I would not pay for a new battery since I was still under warranty, he began to argue, repeatedly insisting, "It's NOT a AAA battery." The conversation devolved into him saying "no you didn't" and me saying "yes I did" until I had to tell him to leave. After getting a live AAA representative on the phone, who confirmed my battery was indeed covered and it was Wind N Sea that put it in 11/2022, I was promised a technician with an arrival time of 8:14 PM. That technician never showed up, and the request was canceled. I placed another request, with an arrival time of 9:35 PM, and that call was also canceled by them. I finally gave up and had to jump-start my car myself to get it back into my garage. A technician showed up after 9:50 PM, after I had canceled, only to leave after I confirmed I wasn't paying for a battery. A representative from Wind N Sea call me after 10:00 PM, with a AAA rep on the line. The Wind N Sea rep asked, so "with all the technicians that came out, none checked for the sticker?" I said, "Correct." The rep then said someone was coming out. I told her, "No, not after 10 PM." The rep then stated I had just placed the call, I said no there were many request place since 5:40pm and the call was then disconnected. This entire experience was a complete waste of my time. The lack of basic respect, communication, and competence from Wind N Sea Towing is astonishing. They failed to perform a simple service and instead treated me with unbelievable disrespect, even in front of their own client's representative. read more

terrible service and customer support. i have triple A for 6 years, and wind and sea towing was assigned to pick up my car . called at 1pm and told me they would get here at 2. then they called me at 2pm to tell me their tow truck driver cancelled and they would send someone and it would take 40min to an hour. 2:40 came by and no calls or anything so I called them back and the person who answered put me on hold while "they checked on the tow truck drivers eta" I was on hold for about 10 minutes while I checked the triple a app and saw they had given me a new truck driver. They didn't even have the decency to let me know they were going to be late. This is very unprofessional and very incompetent on their part. If one day the only option is to use wind and sea towing to tow a car I'd rather disassemble the car myself on the side of the road even if it's 110 degrees outside or raining, than use this useless towing company ever again. I truly pray on their downfall, they should be out business soon if they keep this up, and I know they will be. Triple A will also be hearing from me about this disastrous situation they couldn't handle. read more

Best service I've ever had with a tow. I got stranded on the side of the road after hitting debris from a car accident and hit up AAA and they sent these guys to save the day. Louis Remo was hands down the best driver I've ever had the pleasure of having a tow with. Very professional and knowledgeable. WARNING: Damaged my vehicle on video and avoided any contact after the incident I am writing this review because Wind and Sea completely ignored my attempts to resolve a damage claim having to escalate the matter to have AAA mediate on my behalf. ​During a tow on 11/29/25, the driver improperly positioned the winch chain, causing it to crush and distort the front lower bumper valence of my Chevrolet Avalanche as it was being pulled onto the flatbed. I have clear video footage of the incident occurring, showing the chain under tension directly damaging the vehicle's bodywork. ​I attempted to reach out multiple times to provide the video evidence and repair estimates, but the company was completely unresponsive. It is incredibly disappointing that a professional service would cause documented damage or even return a phone call after leverage attempts in contacting them. ​I would have prefered to settle this professionally, but their lack of response forced me to escalate this further through AAA since they subcontracted the service and they had to also tried several attempts to contact them. AAA eventually sent me a check for the damage after having to submit all the evidence along with the estimate. ​I STRONGLY advise others to look elsewhere if you value your vehicle's safety and want a company that stands behind their work. read more

Today one of your drivers decided to make a right hand turn in front of oncoming traffic on Live Oak Canyon Road in Yucaipa with no regard for the traffic coming. He then cut multiple vehicles off to make a left hand turn onto the freeway and while on the freeway again cut drivers off and was weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds. He obviously has no regard for driver safety yet is supposed to serve the Same people he endangers.
