Beware If AAA sends you to this company to get a tow, I would cancel and get somebody else. Their customer service is horrible. They put you on hold and all of a sudden you get disconnected. It took me about 45 minutes to get a straight answer not to mention six phone calls with Three disconnected. The dispatcher is rude and doesn't care about you whether it's 100° out or where you're at or what your situation is. They should just give you a straight answer if they cannot make it in a timely manner to give you a to nothing more and nothing less please do not use this company or you will find out the hard way. I hope AAA realizes how horrible these people are and drops their preferred vendor program. read more

Came to the city of Yucaipa to watch a football game at my fiancés friends house and it had been raining, we unfortunately got lost and pulled into an apartment complex and got stuck in some mud so I called AAA and Wind N Sea got dispatched. AAA stated they would be here around 8:44pm and it was 6:15pm, I was like awe man. Anyway Louis called me at 6:32pm stating he was 5min away I was like awesome! This guy has the best driving skills I've seen. It was a tight squeeze pulling in because there were other cars parked in this complex and it's not like I was gonna start knocking on peoples doors to ask them to move their cars. I called AAA for a tow and gave them all the information, including my phone number stating he must call me so I can give his name at the security gate. After an hour and a half, according to the app, he had arrived at my house, which was not true calling AAA they researched and said he got to the gate tried to call me, but no one answered so he left. I went to the gate to investigate. They definitely remembered him. He was told he could call me, and after a few choice words he left. They said he definitely did not make any phone calls and that if I wanted to, I could request security camera footage for proof. I had to order another tow service which now brings this to a total of three hours. read more

OMG! Rudy was an answer to prayer. So professional, respectful and kind. As a senior citizen with a flat tire in 90 degree heat, Rudy went above and beyond to help us. Do NOT use this company. I called AAA for roadside assistance, and Wind N Sea Towing was dispatched. I specifically asked them to tow my car to my home -- but instead, they took it to their impound yard without permission, gave me no paperwork, and then tried to charge me to get it back. I had to track my car down myself. This is unethical and feels like extortion. I later learned this company has a history of doing this to people. I've filed a formal complaint with AAA and CHP. AAA dispatched this company to my residence for a battery replacement and the technician replaced my battery . After he left I realized that he damaged my quarter panel Instead of removing the battery mat cover the technician just folded it backwards which put a crease in the mat and damaged it. I then discovered that the stereo amplifier was loose and was not in the same position. I tried to use the stereo and then realized that the amplifier was not working and caused damage to the stereo system The battery that was in the car was still under warranty and I was charged full price and well and was charged a different insulation fee. I called the office and was given the run around and left my information and was never contacted again . Absolutely horrible service and even worse customer service. Tow truck driver Osvaldo Mendoza was dispatched to assist me last night. From the initial phone call, he had a very poor attitude and was extremely unprofessional. He told me that I needed the tow more than he needed the job, which was completely inappropriate. Instead of helping, he made the situation worse. He refused to take my car and became upset when I politely asked him not to lean on my vehicle. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would never recommend this tow service, even as a last resort. read more

I truly appreciate the services provided by AAA, and I find them to be very valuable. However, I wanted to express my concern regarding a service tow that I requested today at 9 AM. The estimated time of arrival was 11:45 AM, and while I was perfectly fine with waiting, it is now 4:56 PM and I have not yet received assistance. I noticed that the app frequently updates the ETA, which has created some confusion, as I saw it change from 5:06 PM to 3:50 PM and then back to 5:53 PM. I also attempted to reach out for an update and unfortunately was on hold for 56 minutes. After calling multiple times, I was informed that I would receive a callback shortly, but I have yet to receive any communication. I have noticed from others' experiences that this seems to be a common issue, and I sincerely hope that AAA can review this situation. WInd & Sea is AAA contracted - I scheduled a Tow at 8:04 AM, the ETA at the time was 9:58 AM it was updated to 9:21 AM and then to 10:36 AM then I got a call from AAA that at 11:52 AM because the call had not been fulfilled they indicated that they were "monitoring" the service call and Wind & Sea would arrive within the next 45 minutes. It is now 3:27, I received a call from a different tow company stating AAA reassigned the call after wind & sea cancelled. No call from Wind & Sea and the availability of the new company would make it so that the car arrives at the receiving shop after hours with no one to receive it. I suspect Wind & Sea would rather wait callers out into cancelling their service call so that AAA members cannot bash them on their survey. If AAA assigned your call to Wind & Sea have them reassign it unless you enjoy spending your day waiting for a company that doesn't have the courtesy to CALL and give an accurate ETA. read more

I made a tow request through AAA for a totally dead vehicle in my driveway to be towed 5 miles to the dealership. It took them almost 8 hours to respond after giving a 2 hour initial estimate. They kept telling us a driver was on the way and would be there within an hour, then pushed the estimate every time an hour passed. When they finally responded, they managed to crack my windshield during the tow. I called to talk to someone, they told me a supervisor would call me back within 2 hours. Never heard back. I called back, they left me on hold for 30 minutes, now they won't take my call. I'm not holding my breath for them to take responsibility for the damage even though they're legally required to. I was just picked up by Windansea towing driver name Jayro N . This driver arrived 30 minutes sooner than the ETA that was provided upon picking me up. He not only had exceptional great customer service and conversation that took my mind completely off of the situation I was in, but he also went a step further to give me some tips on what the possible problem could be with my car, which turns out to be much cheaper than what I thought so basically I'm saying this is a great tow truck company. He is an excellent driver. He's really good at calming the situation, assessing the situation and getting you to your destination as quickly and safely as possible.
