I never post reviews, but must say if you are looking for a real education from someone who genuinely cares and knows her job, Mrs. Thompson is the person to go to. She is truely an amazing instructor & person. Going through life changes, I decided to change careers. Although I was a bit concerned about learning something new later in life, this quickly changed. I was fortunate enough to be in Mrs. Thompson class. She has a special gift for teaching that very few people exhibit. Never once did I feel dumb or small for incorrectly doing something. Mrs.Thompson challenges you in a way that makes you strive to be the best at what you do. Her teaching technique is hands on, hands on, hands on. You will do, be the best, & she will not accept anything less of you. She is very direct but fun! Mrs. Thompson is amazing in explaining how things are done & not done. The class size was perfect, with a mixture of age groups from adult teen to grandparent. Everyone learning & training as a team together. It's never late to learn or change careers! I have been very successful since the day I started externship because I was ready & confident in how I was taught & what I learned. The certification exam was passed on 1st attempt with a high score. I have moved out of state & returned without any problems finding a job or being paid well wherever I've gone. A hot mess! The start date for class was postponed two weeks later the day BEFORE the original…read morestart date because of a "family emergency". Two weeks later we're told we have a new instructor just for the second day another family emergency occurs with her which isn't her fault. However the following day everyone is waiting outside the locked doors 15 minutes after class was supposed to start because no one's there! No lights, doors locked, no one was answering our calls, no emails or a heads up, nothing! Our class of 25 dropped to 8 that following week because the lack of unprofessionalism and communication was absurd. The one saving grace out of this school was our instructor Miss Terri. She went above and beyond making sure we weren't behind on our course due to the inconveniences that occurred that disrupted our learning days. She was patient, understanding, and lit up the classroom with her lively energy. If it wasn't for her I think the course would've been postponed again for god knows how long until they found another teacher on short notice, she saved my time and made sticking through the struggles worth it. I couldn't be more grateful but besides that I would not recommend. The lack of communication was terrible from the people in charge and even though Google reviews has a high rating (god knows how) I recommend going somewhere else for these kind of certifications. Yes it might cost a bit more but trust no low price is worth the headache and uncertainty.

That is SO much wiser financially. I am still paying large unfortunate chunks of my hard-earned paycheck for this education that I could have gotten for much less. Ultimately this for profit business (I won't even call it a university) placed a hold on my account, therefore causing me a delay in registering for Informatics during my dispute with them I had re submitted only for Chamberlain to create further delay in keeping my account on hold because of a minor error in my date of birth being labeled on the wrong section of the form which FSA confirmed should not be the source of confirmation of completion of the reaffirmation form: Chamberlain was supposed to confirm completion of the form through the national student loan databases system according to FSA. I immediately explained this to them and later they admitted I was correct. And yet still, my account remains on hold because of informatics course I was forced to withdraw due to late registration and the stress of playing catch up with back to back projects assigned for the course I continue to receive email threats from the university to send my account to collections all because they have yet to process my financial aid so that I can receive a reward package My employer continues to wait for the award package so that I can receive tuition reimbursement I have reached out by phone and email and have not received any assistance for nearly 3 months. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL

I did the 8 week phlebotomy course and was certified by the end of it. I definitely had more knowledge coming into the program than some of the other students but Ms. Donna makes sure everyone knows what they need to know. We drew blood on the first day that we were there! We go one at a time so Ms. Donna can watch over everyone and guide them through the steps. We did it pretty much every class, and by the end, everyone was fairly confident taking blood by themselves. Ms. Donna was the only person running the whole school when I got there. She expanded the inside to another suite so there's more room to practice and study. She is extremely talented at teaching. She'll put you on the spot about material that you learned in previous lessons, so make sure you keep up. I think this course was worth every dollar that I spent with how much hands on experience you get.
