But the few times I did report an issue to the owner, he would get defensive and not take responsibility. For example, I had my pool deck repainted and shortly after that chemical stains appeared in the paint around the edge of the pool in a few areas and he suggested maybe it was me who was stained it. My pool was often left with green algae stains on the sides. Eventually he just decided tell me that he didn't want to clean my pool -- and wouldn't you know it that in the last month of his service my entire pool became green as he was no longer treating it properly. To me that seemed like no coincidence. And when the new pool company took over the following month, they charged me an extra $100 for extra phosphate they had to add to get my pool back to where it should have been. My new pool company came in $40 less per month and so far is doing a much better job.

But calling the company they were very professional and knowledgeable, and they are an authorized repair company for Jandy pumps. Their price estimate for parts and installation was very reasonable (we had already researched the parts prices) and they were able to send someone quickly so we decided to take the plunge so to speak. We are very happy we did ... the tech (Angel) was very nice, professional, and efficient and everything went swimmingly.
