We love this daycare so much!! Our son has been going there since December 2019 and he's so happy. They have an app where they send you sooooo many pictures of your child all day long and other important info like what/when they ate and when they're napping. The teachers are all so caring and kind. The facility had just been completely renovated when we started. It's gorgeous!! And they have really great playgrounds. Since it's the summer they do "Splash Pad Fridays" and my son gets so crazy excited. I love seeing the pics from it! The have really convenient hours too. Oh and their safety measures in place for COVID make it even better! Valet pick up and drop off.. I never get out of my car which is awesome especially when I'm late for work! Ha! Love this place!! If you are looking for the BEST daycare for your child...WINDHAVEN ACADEMY!!! I wish I could give 10 stars to this place. It was hard having to place my son in a daycare especially with how young he was. Since the moment I contacted Windhaven Academy they have been nothing but the absolute best. From drop off to pick up I feel extremely comfortable that my son is there and being cared for. Not to mention, within a week of him being there I noticed a difference in his education. (Shoutout to Ms. India and Ms. Mai!) My smart boy comes home everyday with a smile on his face. They have any amazing team and are always going above and beyond. I can't thank them enough for how much they do for my family. If you are looking for an amazing daycare for your family, put your trust into Windhaven Academy. Both of our children attend Windhaven Academy and highly recommend it! Our son tells us EVERY day when we pick him up how much fun he has and how much he loves his new school. The administration and teachers at Windhaven go above and beyond and take such great care of our kids. This was our daughter's first school to go to (1 year old) and I was nervous about her not being with us and my goodness they do a better job than I do! We get constant updates on their app with pictures and what they're doing through out the day and I just couldn't recommend Windhaven Academy more! read more

I absolutely love having my kids at Windhaven academy. There valet service makes dropping off the kids an ease even with all the post COVID safety protocol & check in. The bright wheel app sends me pictures of my kid with all the activities that they are doing throughout the day. They service healthy organic meals too! We recently moved to the area and my kids (3yr and 1yr) have been through a lot of change the last few months. I started them in another school that seemed like a good place, nice, etc. however both my boys cried all day and were hysterical when we would pick them up. I know this isn't their personality so I decided to look for another school. I was referred to windhaven from a friend who will be bringing her new baby there in a few months. From the first tour we felt like this school would be a good environment for our boys, the energy is great. Since they started this school they have been excited to go, happy when I pick them up, and my 3 year old talks about how nice his friends and teacher (ms. Mai) are. We are so thankful we found this school, every teacher Ive met has seemed to genuinely care about the kids all the way to the director/owner. It is a relief to know my kids are being cared for and nurtured and are happy and having fun while we are at work :) read more

Great daycare for kids! The teacher in the 12months-17months age classroom is especially very kind and helpful.

Very disappointed. We were at Windhaven from August 2017 til today. Over the last few months staff turnover has been rampant. Though thats not why we are no longer there. Over the last eight weeks our 23 month old child has had either unexplained or delayed explanations regarding injuries sustained while at the daycare. We were told time and time again that there would not be any further issues with incident reports but over and over there was the same issue. To our dismay and surprise the corporate office called our care assistance provider and had them defund our assistance for their facility under extremely false pretenses. All we asked for was that when we come to pick up our child that at that time there be a incident report. Don't take your child there. Your concerns will fall on deaf ears and at worst they are run by some very dishonest people.... read more

Windhaven Academy used to be a great daycare until the new director took over. She is very business like and rude; and, I get the feeling that she doesn't even like kids. She made me feel uncomfortable every time I picked up my child. As a result, my child became very unhappy and sad, so I decided to take her out of Windhaven and put her in a much better school that really cares about the children. read more

The new directors seem nice but my daughter and I had to fight to get my refund back. I was lied to numerous times by Ms. Hill. Ms. Hill kept saying she sent an email I never received, basically accusing me of lying! I did not appreciate her tone or rudeness! When I told her I would put a review on yelp she then said please say good things I don't need another bad review. Unbelievable! The new assistant director didn't say anything, just stood there with an odd look on her face! We loved Mrs. Marilyn but hated the constant director change! My son had a difficult time transitioning from a home sitter to preschool. The staff, and especially the Director, Miss Christina, was absolutely amazing. She took a special interest making sure that my son was comfortable and happy. I called and stopped in several times a day to check on him, I watched him in his class and on the monitors where the rooms are all on camera. It has taken a few weeks, but thanks to the incredible staff and the many activities and learning games to keep him busy, my son is incredibly happy at this amazing school read more

Our children were there for their summer daycare, not during the school year. The teachers were great the office staff is completely inept. I understand some accounting issues but after providing bank statements to rectify the issues and show we were up to date they still tried to say we still owed money three weeks prior to our children enrolling in public school. The 'owner' I suppose took the "new" statement showing we still owed from my wife and let her know that this will be dealt with since we already "fixed" the issues. As of today, three weeks after our kids have been in public school, we get a call advising that we still owe Windhaven Academy $1,000. They thought our kids were still going to their daycare when they haven't been at the academy since 8/28, 8/25 was their last day. BEWARE, your kids will do ok but you will have to deal with bunch of BS. read more

I have a 6 month old that went to this school for 3 short days. Within those 3 days she developed a diaper rash (she's never had before), she got RSV, and had a terrible rash all on her cheeks and mouth from not being washed off after feedings. Day two the director called me at 11 am (the last time my child ate was at 6am) and told me they couldn't find my daughters formula can (and she couldn't tell me if they had given her any other food), so i left work went and bought a new can and took it to the day care. When i arrived i walked in and the assistant manager saw me coming and shut the first door that i had to walk through to get to the back rooms, so i had to do my code and hand print. To me that was very sketchy. It made me think she ran to my daughters room to tell them i was there. So as i walk to the baby room one of the teachers is in the middle of picking my baby up so i walk to her and grab my baby only to find hard food all on her face. WHICH EXPLAINS WHY SHE WAS BROKEN OUT FOR THREE DAYS! This place has gotten a lot of good reviews, that's why it was my first pick! But day three i went on the state website and looked at their ratings and they are all BAD! Teachers have been reported for pinching children. Another teacher spanking kids. A lot of teacher didn't have background checks at all done! I could not believe the things i was ready! So Day 3 I went and picked her up and my baby never went back! The room is nasty! They put one kid that has snot all over himself in a jumper then take him our and WITHOUT cleaning it put another kid in the jumper! (which explains my babies RSV) When i first met the teachers that were going to be taking care of my baby they had no personality just seemed like they were there to get a paycheck. We currently are at a much MUCH better daycare called Kindercare!! The teachers in the daycare spoils these babies rotten and treat them like they are their own! It makes me sick to my stomach i ever left my baby at windhaven academy. I never write reviews but when it comes to my children i feel if i can say just a couple people from sending them kids somewhere i will. read more
