The staff at Ruff House Adventures did a thorough evaluation and asked detailed questions to understand our family's specific training needs: she's not the boss and she can settle down and be calm. Ruff House Adventures' trainers and entire staff helped my dog learn her place as a dog & that it's safe to mellow out. Most importantly they taught me, the owner, how to better understand my dog's triggers & find alternative ways of addressing her behavior issues. I look forward to the daily report cards which are available for a small add on fee. I can't imagine taking my doggo anywhere else.

We came across Ruff House while googling doggy daycares. The ladies met us on a Saturday and gave us a tour. We could tell right away everyone there truly loves dogs. Our Bella loves going every day to play with her fur friends and loved on by her extended family. We love the daily updates and exhausted puppy we get at the end of each day. Nothing better than knowing our girl is loved, well cared for, and happy!

They offer the first day free too which is wonderful, really gives you the opportunity to check it out before buying a package. Pricing is average for most places, I think it's worth every penny. My golden doodle is soo worn out when he comes home we have to carry him upstairs. He sleeps the rest of the night every time! The employees are outstanding. They know my face and pups name as soon as we walk in the door. They really care about your fur babies. My favorite feature of all is their Pupdates. Nothing makes you happier than receiving pictures of your fur baby having fun. I can tell you a few times they have went above and beyond....he rolled in poop one day....You read that correctly, poop. I wouldn't have ever known if they didn't tell me. At my arrival he was fresh and clean from a bath!! Another time he was showing signs of ear pain and they cleaned out his ears and kept an eye on him. We left feeling better and so did Moose. Unfortunately things got better and then much worse. We knew what we needed to do with our baby and Dr. Barringer fit us in for a last minute consult just to put my mind at ease. She was amazing and kind as well as empathetic. We utilized Lap of Love to our home to help our Moosey cross over. What a pleasant surprise to get flowers and a card from College Park Wellness after Moosey's passing! This instilled in us that we were in the right place and the rest of our pet family will continue with College Park Wellness! Thank you for your kindness and love. We moved into the area and needed a new vet. This was close to home and decided to give them a shot. My 15 year old cat Moose and eventually our new babies Birdie and Bogie have been going to see Dr. Barringer ever since! The staff is amazing, attentive and they really do answer the follow up texts. Our kitties have been in great hands! I love taking them and feel confident in their care. Moose got some nasal issue and Dr Barringer checked with other colleagues and we tried many things to support him. She helped with his pain of being older and really checked in on him. The whole clinic checked in on us! Don't hesitate, this is a great place that cares!

How it works: On the day of your appointment you just drop off your dog from 8 AM-9 AM and then they will call you later in the day when it is time for you to come get your furry friend! Fendi has always come out of the groom with energy and looking and smelling FRESH! When grooming the dog, they also include nail trimming and filing. I knew something was wrong with her and she was clearly miserable, so I just couldn't let her suffer all weekend. Dr Kanach got her in right away and determined that she was in total renal failure. When they allowed me to come in and hold my Kiki and say goodbye, I realized Dr Kanach was the same vet that I had release my dog from her cancer, 5 years ago. What a wild, fortunate yet sad coincidence. He and his team were extremely compassionate and gently, respectfully supported me thru the entire process both times. Once Kiki had passed, the nurse helped me wrap her up and place her into her carrier. She walked me out to my car and offered me a big hug. Above and Beyond, for sure.

I was impressed with all of the staff here on my first visit and the cost seemed to be fair and in line with veterinarians and groomers that we've used in the past (I'm not a vet pricing expert but for meds, shots, exam, heart-worm test and grooming we spent $180, grooming alone is normally $60 because he's a large dog). I would definitely recommend pleasant paws to anyone looking for a vet and I'll update this review after upcoming visits if anything changes!
