I was told that the part I needed for my older car was its hydraulic lift motor for my 2005 PT Crusier, Convertible's top lift mechasim. This turned out to be the wrong item. The problem was not the lift motor but a small hydraulic lift cylinder. The wrong part that I ordered from Auto King cost me $466. Upon contacting Auto King about returning the unopened part, I was told they did not take parts back. All sales are final per their contact, which is made very clear in the invoice. I bought a (Automotive) Creeper for a family member just before Christmas. I requested one that…read morewas in a box but they had already assembled all of what they had. So I went ahead and purchased one already assembled. It turns out the person I bought it for already had one and was looking for a particular one. I drove from Chico and brought the one back to the store and requested to exchange it for another one. Now this Creeper was NEVER once used. At the most, it was set on the hard wood floor in my home and never even touched concrete or even been outside while in my possession. When I took it back, the employees who assisted me with purchasing did not have a problem with it. As I was carrying the Creeper to the back another employee came out from the back and inquired what was going on. The other employee explained it to him. The employee that came out then proceeded to tell me it was used cause he saw it had marks on all four legs and a crease in one of the legs. He asked me it was used and I explained it wasn't even set on the ground. He told me sorry and he couldn't take it back. If you are not going to allow returns, at least tell the customer that. Don't blame the customer and make up seeing marks.
