Apologies to Rudy, it was actually the snotty dispatcher Carol who assumed we must be getting some other provider to fill Delta's tank "because we hadn't purchased any propane since the tank was delivered". Well, the Delta tank serviced a guest house that sees little use and Delta's tank fill valve is locked by Delta; so it sure wasn't being filled by those dirty, competitive "others" and had not been refilled since originally delivered. Tell the story however you like. Beware of California propane providers, they collude and revel in anti-trust, anti-competitive, bad-faith practices by locking tanks and forcing customers to sign Adhesion contracts; Delta is the worst offender we've encountered to date. If you have the misfortune of living in California, and worse, in areas served by Delta, do yourself a favor and buy your own tank(s), It negates these weasel's ability to shake you down. Also, for the record, we're including a copy of the shakedown letter hereto; and, a picture of the lock that chicken-littles like Delta put on their tanks. Interesting Note: we also have Jack Griggs and Estrella Blanca propane tanks on our property AND THEY DO NOT PUT LOCKS ON THEIR TANKS because they're not scared of competition.

I managed to talk them out of taking the tank explaining I didn't need much propane as I only used it to cook with. Now, they have tripled the rental fees on the tank because I am not buying enough propane from them. They are aggressive, they are not honest and if they can, they will rip you off.

He said it was "good" so I bought it and when I ate it on the way home, it was as hard as a brick. Same thing when a chicken sandwich on a different occasion. Next time I come, it'll be strictly for booze and snacks minus the hot food.
