I recently moved to the area and used to shop at Home Depot more often, but now that Lowe's is closer, I find myself coming here instead especially because the staff at this location is phenomenal. I really wanted to take a moment to recognize a couple of employees who have made such a positive impression on me I've had the pleasure of interacting with Cambria several times, and she consistently goes above and beyond to help customers as if they were friends. This store is pretty cleanly besides the ants on the bird food! I was tempted to get some since we just did bird houses, but this was kind of a turn off. The aisles match up with the aisles on the website, which is really nice, however the inventory doesn't align. Something would say unavailable online, but be available in the store. The staff are really kind and helpful as well. I don't typically go to Lowe's because I thought they were more expensive, but their prices are pretty decent. read more

Used Lowe's Home Services for our new flooring project and they are absolutely terrible. Installed bamboo flooring upstairs and downstairs. The installer for whatever reason used a nail gun while installing the downstairs flooring... on a concrete slab... needless to say that didn't work out. Nails began sticking out of the wood floor. They didn't bother to level the cement subfloor before installation. Had to make them come back, pull up the entire downstairs flooring, and reinstall it correctly. They never bothered to mention that they don't paint baseboards, so now we've got brand new baseboards that are primered and look scuffed. Awful. I decided to stop by at this location since I was looking to see if they sold filler gauges and I noticed that this small 1/4 inch ratchet was on clearance. Clearly you can see in the photo. So as I was self checking out, it rung up as the original price. I pushed the assistance button and an old white woman looking about 70 years old came, so I told her the situation thinking she would easily change the price. Instead she didn't believe my word, and said if I took a picture and showed her she would then change the price. I did as she asked and showed her the picture. She read the numbers making sure it matched the tag on the ratchet, and said it didn't match. I read it back to her and all of the numbers matched. She then tried to argue saying it's not ringing up as clearance and she can't change the price when clearly it shows in the photo!! At that point I was fed up and decided to leave. I told her to take the item with her and she offered to get the manager to help. I said no thanks I don't want it anymore. After all that nonsense, she then decided to offer help 3 more times after I already made the decision to leave. I got the impression that she was probably racist. Obviously the item was on clearance otherwise there would be more on the rack. There was one ratchet left, why would Lowe's reduce it by accident... Lowe's, do better with your employees. I hope that I can complete this with ZERO stars. We purchased a washer, selected delivery and installation, and paid $30 to have the old one hauled away. We were given a delivery time from 3:00 to 7:00. I had an appointment at 1:30, I got a call and text at 1:50 saying that they were almost there. My husband was home, fortunately. He said that they refused to install the washer because it was 'outside', we have a separate wash room that is a complete building. Four walls, roof, and door. Then they told him they wouldn't take the old washer because it wasn't disconnected. And turned to leave. My husband told them to wait while he disconnected it. I bought French Doors back in April. I received an email in May saying that all the materials had arrived in the store and that they would contact me to set up an installation date. I waited till the middle of June and hadn't heard from them. I called them and they said they would follow up on this. I called a few more times and didn't receive a response. Finally, at the end of June they called and scheduled an installation date for July 7. On July 7 they called and said they had the wrong door and would have to exchange it with another door from a store nearby. So they rescheduled for July 18. On July 18 after I called wondering why they hadn't shown up, they called and said that their van had broken down and they would have to reschedule again. Since I had purchased the door in April and had very little customer support as far as notifications about what was going on during this whole process, not to mention the recurring rescheduling, I cancelled the purchase. Right now I'm in the middle of trying to get a refund for this expensive purchase. So from my experience I would have to give the store a low rating for dependability, timeliness, and communication. read more

I will never buy an appliance from Lowes again. I bought a gas range from Lowes and paid for delivery and installation which included the gas hookup fee. At the time I bought the range we told them we had propane. When they delivered the stove we were told that they did not hookup propane and left the stove in my living room. When I called and spoke to a manager I was told that Lowes never does propane hookup and they were "sorry" the sales person did not tell us that but there was nothing they could do. We were required to find someone else to do the hookup and discovered that the propane conversion kit they gave us was for a dryer not a oven. When we called again to see if the dryer fitting would work on the stove we were told someone would call us back but of course no one did. So if you want actual customer service you should probably go elsewhere read more

I contacted Lowe's to fix my refrigerator on may 8th. I have an extended warranty on it. My refrigerator/freezer still has not been fixed and it's May 28th. It won't be fixed until June 1st. We're going through a pandemic without a working refrigerator. Central Valley Appliance is the company is suppose to be fixing it. Lowe's needs to get a new company handle their repairs. Came in earlier today to see about buying a washer/dryer set. Well we were unlucky to have the employee named Anthony 'help' us in the washer and dryer department of the store around 4:30pm. We explained how we were in the process of moving and would need our washer and dryer delivered the last week in July to the new house. He said they had a washer in the back but would need to order the dryer. I asked how that would work, if we pay for the washer and dryer now, but they just hold the washer in the back for 3 weeks while waiting for the dryer to be delivered from the factory on our desired date. And instead of answering my question he scoffed in my face and in the most condescending tone told me 'just don't worry about it, let me check the back to see if we even have the washer.' Like excuse me?? I'm going to worry about it if I'm spending that kind of money. We all turned around and walked right out of that store. I used to like going to this Lowe's because it's in my neighborhood. Now, I'll happily drive to the other side of town even if that location is busier. I needed more paint to get my house finished so I went back to Lowe's to have them mix me more paint. I took the actual 5 gal bucket with me because there was about 1 pt of paint left and the label was on the lid. After about an hour wait, the sales person told me they couldn't get an exact match because the base paint they used is no longer carried by Lowe's. At the end of the day, the paint was off, just like the previous review! Next, My wife ordered stuff online so we could pick it up real quick. All we ordered were a few quick connect hose fittings... less than $20. It took them 4 hours to get the stuff ready and contact us. By that time my wife had work so I went to pick up the items. They would not release the items to me, but... that same morning I had picked up a Dewalt Hammer Drill for over $100 with no questions asked. I told them to go ahead and cancel the order for the hose connects because my wife was not available to pick them up. The sales lady was surprised and said that if I don't pick up the items then they will be canceled automatically. It's been a month and the items still show as ready to pick up. All I can say is I'm going to raise hell If i order something else for online pick up and they try to give me the hose connects with it. I ended up running through the store to get the items I wanted anyways. So in the end I didn't save time and it was more inconvenient. Everyone is standing around chatting, about what they did over the weekend or personal events I dont need to hear about. No one approaches you to see if you need assistance.
