Do not waste your money on this florist. My mother received the smallest bouquet on Mothers Day from Wyndow Box and I'm so embarrassed. I paid $120 and $10 extra for the large "deluxe" bouquet. That's a lot of money. What she received is just a bit bigger than a 5x7 picture frame. The photo showed 6-8 roses in the bouquet and she received 3 with a ton of filler. What a rip off. I've seen nicer bouquets at Walmart for $19.99. Do not recommend this florist. If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried to call the business and email but no resolution. read more

The arrangement wasn't exactly as pictured on the website but it did say comparable substitutions will be made if necessary and I think the final arrangement was better than the online pictures. If you look at my edible arrangements, you'll understand why I came here at the last moment. I know on Valentines Day, you will pay more money for roses, but $125 for a dozen roses is ridiculous! Normal price is $40 and I would have probably paid $75-80 for them because of Edible Arrangements screwing up my order. But no way was I going to pay $125 for them. Just called in to have followed delivery for my mother's birthday and the person answering the phone stated out very rude and then I stated that the address is in a newer area and that it would be easily found of 288. She looked it up said she could not find it and then finally found it kind of then said well if they get lost they can call you( mind I don't live in the state). But I did call another flower show 20 minutes further and they were really helpful, found the location perfectly and had wonderful customer service! read more

Very rude staff, will leave your order OUTSIDE and leave early. It is unacceptable. They started harassing phone calls( at least five) very early on a Saturday. I was told to pick up my order by the time they close it they would leave it outside their door and not guarantee anything. I was livid! I continued to get the same phone calls asking me when I would show up. I got there an hr before they told me that they were closing and there was a locked door with the corsage for my sisters bridal shower outside in the 90 degree weather! read more

This establishment is absolutely appalling. Please don't use this terrible terrible company, unless don't mind that they will be exceptionally rude next to the casket of a family member during a viewing. We ordered two sprays for my grandfather's funeral this weekend, each at the rate of $275. During the viewing they delivered one as ordered however the other had much fewer flowers. We requested carnations to make a fuller spray, and they had replaced them with a quarter of the number of roses. They seemed offended we weren't appreciative. We didn't ask you to do that. "Fine we will just take out the roses then." Fine Wyndowbox, we didn't ask for them. They also fixed the flowers RIGHT NEXT TO MY GRANDFATHER'S CASKET instead of pulling them into the next room. Every single time this woman decided to make a phone call she made it inside of the room with my grieving family RIGHT NEXT TO MY GRANDFATHER'S CASKET. She also had the woman on the line on speaker saying things like "what are they complaining about now?" Not acceptable Wyndowbox. I ordered flowers for a family friend's funeral and what was delivered was NOT what was pictured. I had also paid for a customized ribbon that was not added to the spray. When I called, they advised me that they overlooked the work order and didn't offer a solution to the problem, instead the lady told me " we would have not put as many flowers into the spray if we would have known you paid for the ribbon". This was not the response I was looking for and the spray did not include any extra flowers, if anything they should have added more it was bare minimum. read more

Awful all around. My mother and I ordered a simple potted plant to have delivered to a funeral home this week. The price was $40 with an additional $10 delivery charge. We weren't expecting anything fancy, but when we saw what was delivered, we were appalled. Rather than something simple and neat, the family received something ragged that resembled weeds. It looked as though the florist had walked around the back side of their building, dug something out of the ground, and plopped it into a basket. When my mother called to complain, their only response was "Well, what do you expect for only $40?" I realize that's not a large sum of money, but they could certainly do better than what appeared to be tall, shaggy grass. And what kind of business owner responds to a customer in that way? The flowers we received for the baby shower were not up to par. It was quite disappointing b/c we expected much more. We stated blue & white flowers, however the majority of the bundle was green. That is not the worst part of the situation, when calling to complain the customer service on the other end was appalling. (Yes, we called 5days later) They were aware the order was wrong bc of timing yet didn't mention to tell us. I just stopped by there today, Valentines Day, wanted to buy some flowers. I badly needed to go to the restroom first. They said they did not have a men's and women's bathroom. Even after I said I was going to buy some flowers, they said no. So I said I would go somewhere else to buy flowers and the lady said good. No sorry sir, just "good". So I guess they don't really need to treat their customers very well. So I got in my car drove around the corner to Pearland Florist. Asked to use the restroom and they easily pointed me to the one bathroom. Additionally they were out of what I needed and agreed to make up a setting for the price range that I needed. I purchased an FTD Groupon to purchase a Mother's Day arrangement on-line. I had never ordered flowers through FTD, since my go-to site is 800-FLOWERS, but Groupon had a deal I didn't want to pass up. I found the perfect arrangement at The Wyndowbox Florist and ordered the "Best" upgrade available, since I didn't want to just purchase the minimum the Groupon covered. When the arrangement arrived at my mothers, I quickly realized it was not at all the arrangement I had initially purchased, but instead a sub-par arrangement; some flowers were wilted and the flowers used were not what the on-line description said would be included in the arrangement: there were pink roses instead of the peach roses (there is a hard difference between the colors), green fern instead of the hypericum berries, the lily grass blades were broken where it was bent as decor and nowhere in the arrangement delivered were there any red Peruvian lilies- all in all it had a small amount of flowers to be considered the "BEST" level. These issues, I believe to be the florists responsibility and no longer FTD. When I called to speak with someone at FTD, I was told different stories, one of which was they get extremely busy during the Mother's Day holiday and in order to meet their delivery deadlines, they "substitute" other flowers if they've ran out of the ones the arrangement calls for. I spoke with a supervisor at FTD and received no resolution, the only option available was FTD sending someone out from the florist to pick up said arrangement and redelivering another, more upgraded one at a future date (and here I thought "BEST" was the highest upgrade). I did not agree to his terms since I wanted the arrangement for Mother's Day and simply let him know I was unhappy with not only the arrangement provided to us from The Wyndowbox Florist, but also with the customer service he, as a supervisor, provided. Unbeknownst to me, after our conversation, said supervisor indicated in his systems notes that I request FTD contact The Wyndowbox Florist, and make the exchange happen. Today I received a phone call from my mother, confused about a call she received from The Wyndowbox Florist letting her know that someone will be by her home shortly to pick up the arrangement that was delivered for Mother's Day. I quickly picked up the phone and contacted FTD. While on hold, waiting for a transfer to speak with a supervisor, my mother called me again to let me know that an associate with The Wyndowbox Florist was there asking about the arrangement and would not leave her front door without the arrangement, since those were her instructions from FTD. The associate was extremely rude with a bad attitude and took offense to an unsatisfied customer. I finally spoke with a supervisor and she advised that they had not authorized the florist to pick up the arrangement. I stated to the supervisor how unprofessional this was all handled by both the florist, and by FTD for contracting a florist that delivers unsuitable arrangements. I am embarrassed now since my mother, who had no idea she received an incorrect arrangement, was involved and now her view of the arrangement is tainted. The supervisor with FTD has since requested a full refund for their inconvenience. I will never shop with FTD again, and even though this was ordered through FTD, I will also not shop from The Wyndowbox Florist for their unacceptable work. This has been an embarrassing and exhausting series of events and I am taken aback by the level of work a private florist has to offer. Completely disappointed with this entire experience. My friends and I ordered arrangements for a very nice baby shower at Killens steakhouse. The arrangements looked nothing like what we discussed and were mostly greenery. The flowers that were in the arrangements had brown spots as well as some already wilting. When i called to ask what happened and why the arrangements didn't look like what we discussed Tina said the stuff she ordered for our arrangements didn't come in time but there was nothing she could do about it. I ordered a sympathy arrangement from this shop to be delivered for my best friend dad's funeral and I paid $80+ dollars for something that looked like it was a $20 arrangement. I called the florist to complain and request a refund for the arrangement or a replacement. Florist only offered 30% refund, needless to say we're not ordering from them again. To top it off, they insinuated the funeral home was responsible for how poorly this arrangement looked. Unbelievable! read more

This place is incredibly accommodating! I live in Brooklyn and I wanted to send an arrangement to my aunt who lives in Houston, TX. They took my order over the phone, and asked me what my price range was. I told them my budget was $100. I specified that I wanted no carnations or cheap flowers because I hate those Kroger/Walmart looking flowers. Yes, I am picky and I know it. Anyway, when my aunt got her arrangement she sent me a picture and it was gorgeous! There were lilies, roses, orchids, and more! I couldn't believe it. My aunt was so excited and she kept them on her desk at work to show them off. I recommended my friend in Houston get her wedding flowers from here and she said they've been so professional and offered suggestions on how to bring her ideas for her wedding to life. What incredibly bad service. I received flowers that were damaged upon delivery and 50% dead the next day. When I called the shop I was told I would have to bring them in for replacement. The clerk was so rude...I have NEVER been spoken to so poorly. About 3 hours later the shop called back. I had not left my phone number so they had to search for it. I was so surprised thinking they were calling to apologize and say they are sending out a replacement arrangement. NO! They called to once again rudely tell me that Valentines Day is their busiest day and they can not be responsible for what THEIR drivers do. I was again told I would have to bring in the flowers to be replaced. This is my first post against any business - ever. I will use all means possible to let people know that this florist is terrible.
