My husband and I were only in town for a week and trying to tackle as much maintenance as possible in a very short window. After requesting a quote online, Paul followed up quickly via text and we scheduled a consult for the very next morning. Paul and his son were an absolute pleasure to work with. They clearly understood our situation--we just needed to get the house in good shape to sell--and never once tried to upsell us. In an age where so many companies subcontract everything out, it was incredibly refreshing to work directly with a father-and-son team who clearly take pride in their work. We even spent some time swapping stories about great rock 'n' roll shows we've seen. On their way out, I asked if we could quickly borrow their measuring tape to check the size of a missing piece of siding, since we planned to try fixing it ourselves. Without hesitation, they offered to take care of it when they came back to install the windows. That generosity alone meant so much and took one more thing off our very full to-do list. A few weeks later, the windows arrived and were installed without issue--and they absolutely added value to the house. But the story doesn't end there. Less than a week before closing, we discovered another piece of siding that needed repair. I texted Paul to see if they might be able to fix it or recommend someone, fully expecting to pay. Instead, Paul personally stopped by the very next day and took care of it himself. There is truly no one better to work with than Paul and his team. They are kind, honest, hardworking people who do excellent work and genuinely care about their customers. We are beyond grateful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Tried to rip me off and then appeared to gloat about it when I caught him…read more Paul the owner responded to a web request I put in, for a price quote. He responded, by text message. Weird but fine, if the text etiquette is on point. His was a mess. He asks me to take pictures inside and out, of the windows. Ok sure, but I'm one town over and you could just pop by. He asks what I want, I say picture windows. He sends me a picture of double hang and says he recommends them. Don't need them. Then he just TEXTS me a price range. Red flag. Where's your quote with the type of door being used? Also, the number is high. I ask for the SKU to look it up on my own. He sends me a generic link to an affiliate landing page for DOUBLE HUNG DOORS. Ok, so here's where you have to use your best judgement. These guys have great ratings on multiple pages, so they obviously do excellent installs. But that doesn't mean they aren't ripping people off, because you can get similar work done for MUCH cheaper. That's where I got him, bc he wasn't willing to disclose where his range was coming from and then immediately tried to pass me off to Renweal by Anderson, which is widely known as THE biggest price-hike in the game. The safe bet with them is whatever they quote you initially is about double what it should actually cost. So it makes sense the owner thought it's a reasonable peer in the industry. Then he weirdly started text-harassing me when I passed on his offer. Piss off.

One of the absolute worst, most unresponsive companies I've ever worked with. Unfortunately, our…read morecondo association had listed Wilcox as their preferred vendor for changing out windows in our apartment complex. I reached out to them first in Feb 2020. They came over, looked at the windows and then said they would send us a quote. 4 weeks of RADIO SILENCE, absolutely nothing until the end of March 2020. My wife and I guessed "ok maybe their busy". We were ready to go and then of course COVID19 hit so all construction was suspended in our building. Fast-forward to October 2020, our building started to allow construction again. We reached out to Wilcox to see if we could get this done. I called four separate days, leaving a voicemail each time. They didn't call me back ever. I finally reached someone there on my 5th call. Bob Wilcox answered the phone. RUDE AS CAN BE. He goes "I got your message, I'll call you when I have time and then hung up the phone". Is this the type of person you want to be working with? I don't think so. After waiting for him to call back for another month AND NOT GETTING A CALL BACK. We finally convinced our condo association to let us go with another company. TLDR: AVOID WILCOX AT ALL COST. RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND THEY DON'T RETURN YOUR CALLS EVER!!

They talk a great game, but it's mostly talk. We used them to install windows - they installed…read morethree of them wrong. They also were supposed to renovate the kitchen and bathroom - it was a disaster. Old man Wilcox talked up religion to us and bragged about how Christian he is. Talking religion is one thing - he doesn't live it, at least on weekdays. He was rude, crude and massively sexist. He complained about the BBB (beware of contractors who won't join that - it's a sign they are dishonest). He also complained about how women "try to tell" him what to do when "they don't know what they're talking about." His plumber was Mark Getchell - a total con artist who has no idea what's he's doing. He damaged our plumbing system and it cost a lot for us (not Wilcox) to hire another plumber to undo his damage - something Wilcox never paid for. Wilcox said he would never use Getchell again, but I see others with reviews in different places who also had problems with Getchell. It sure looks like Wilcox just says that to appease the people who didn't care for their plumbing to be ruined. And here's another problem - Wilcox expected to be paid in full long before the work was done. Final payment is not supposed to come until it is done - that's the law. We pointed that out - he got angry and never finished the work. Wilcox does very nice work on some homes - especially when he's trying to impress his church people. But there are a lot more victims of him out them. Stay far away from Wilcox Aluminum - it's all a big con game. If he was truly Christian, he would fix the damage he's caused and make amends to the many people he has robbed. But it's all a big sales act by him. We have come across at least five other families in our area who had a horrible time with him, including an elderly couple, a couple with two very young children who were scared of him and he also ripped off a disabled lady who we understand still has not been able to get fixed the big damaged Wilcox did to her home. Shameful, this guy is absolutely shameful. It's one thing to talk the Christian talk - perhaps Wilcox should try actually living it with action, not empty words and endless self-praise.
