He quickly worked me into his schedule and even called me a couple days before our scheduled date to see if I wanted him to come by earlier because he had some extra time in his schedule! Very satisfied customer here! Called WSR first thing this morning to inquire if they served my area - I was in luck as Henry answered and was working near by today. Made appointment for him to come by afterwards and he was a little earlier than expected. I had 3 tilt rods on some existing plantation shutters that came with our house that had lost their pins. We had water damage to our main living room shutters about 8 years ago during a very strong rain storm. Although the window got fixed we never dealt with peeling and cracking paint on about half of the shutter slats. I called Henry and he came right over to inspect our shutters. He said he could have (24) new slats made, painted and installed to match ours. About a week and a half later, Henry came back with perfectly matched slats and proceeded to get them installed and fully functional in less than an hour! Called Henry on Saturday 6/20/16. I discussed the problem I was having with my shutters. He asked me to send him some photos of the problem. I did just that. He called me back with an estimate. We discussed the problem a little deeper and he asked me for the manufacturer's name. He called the manufacturer on Monday, 6/22/16. Henry then called me with GREAT NEWS! Henry busted out a repair on short notice. HE came out two days after I called. He would have been sooner but i had to find the missing rod. . He fixed about 30 staple-less slats and re-attached a missing rod. He did great work, was prompt and friendly. Thanks Henry!!! read more

Very impressed!!! We thought we had to replace our broken shutters in our game room. They were in very bad shape. We had a company come out and give us a quote of $1,350 for new shutters. The companies will tell you that they have to be replaced with new ones. Do not believe their lies! They are looking out for their best interest... not yours. I then looked online and found Window Shutter Repair. I didn't think that they would come all the way to San Diego... they do! They were able to make them look NEW again for $350. It is nice to save $1,000 whenever you can. An employee, Chris, was out in a couple days. Very friendly, helpful, nice guy. You could tell he was trying his best to make them perfect. He succeeded! Henry came to our home in Thousand Oaks in November to fix a few shutters. He was very unprofessional and rude from the minute he walked in. He was so rough with the shutters I thought he would break them. When he switched out some plastic parts for metal the shutters would not close properly. I had to pratically force him to take another look as he was in a huge rush to leave and mentioned he didn't know he'd be driving so far to get to our house. He ended up leaving some plastic spacers and told us we could install them very simply ourselves. Long story short, our shutters now do not either open or close. They just hang down. We tried speaking with him and asked him to come back to fix them as this was clearly caused by something he did. He said we should fix the problem ourselves by using twine or dental floss. Seriously? I have never seen shutters with this stuff? He said he wouldn't come out again. Another thing he mentioned was the shutters will move on their own with changes of weather and maybe they are hanging down because of the cold weather. WHATCOLD WEATHER?????? read more
