They were our best quote for the work and they did an OK job in the end but had I known how things would go I would definitely have gone with another company. We bought 8 windows and 2 sliding doors. The original install had one of the doors on backwards. We were charged a fee to have them come out and re hang the door. Also the install looked shoddy and some of the insulation and flashing looked like it deformed within the first months. They replaced one window but it was months and months. The lead installer, Michael, actually stated that it should be "common knowledge" not to spray your windows with water while watering flower beds. Aside from being an incredibly dismissive response to a legitimate concern, it makes absolutely no sense considering these are hurricane-rated windows that should be capable of withstanding ordinary rain and water exposure. If a homeowner has to worry about watering flowers near their windows, something is seriously wrong. Rather than addressing the findings of multiple independent inspections, Window World repeatedly attempted to insert themselves into additional inspections while simultaneously maintaining that they would not accept responsibility regardless of what the experts concluded. Even after several professionals reached the same conclusion, they continued to dispute the findings instead of working toward a resolution. Another concerning part of this entire situation was their proposed solution once mold was discovered inside the wall. Rather than recommending proper remediation by qualified professionals, I was told that Michael, the installer, would simply repair the wall himself. This was after I received a report documenting active mold growth and mold spores inside the wall cavity. The idea that a window installer would perform a DIY repair on a mold-contaminated wall instead of involving licensed remediation professionals is both alarming and irresponsible. The entire experience has been exhausting, expensive, and disappointing. When problems arose, I expected a company of this size to stand behind its work. Instead, I was met with excuses, deflection, and a complete lack of accountability. Horrible, We have a home in OTOTW that is 2.5 years old So far 2 Patio sliders had to be changed... Glass inside was voided , orange splash marks .. and dust inside. Junk. Another double window up and down closure in guest room, Ants find there way in at corners... poor install. Called them about this.. They want 150 dollars to come out and look at the window... Brand new home. They said Well the home is past the 1 year install defect warranty. WHAT.. ? Welcome to Colin's sacred choice for windows. Stay away from this company. and OTOTW. I visited Window World of Ocala today in person.I was very disappointed with my experience at this window company. The front desk lady I interacted with was sarcastic and very not professional.She couldn't answer simple questions in their show room but instead she was giving me sarcastic answers. If you want to waste your money and buy some cheap plastic windows that seem like they came off of some teenagers 3D printer spend your money here I have a window that has failed just from use and it's only a few months old there is a lot of people that are going to be extremely mad when they find out how cheaply made these things are you're not going to find truthful reviews on their site I have read many of bad reviews about this company specifically the one in Ocala all the way down to the woman that runs the office just garbage people ripping people off and taking your money read more

Nightmare experience! Installed windows that literally started to fall apart a day after install. Called and told they knew they had gotten bad batch of windows from factory and guess we got them (you'd think they would have checked before install). Ordered replacements (every window) 2 weeks later came to install. However, missing one replacement and a replacement was bad. 10 more days, scheduled to install last two, but got called and cancelled because truck had blown tire (maybe they need an AAA account) and didn't have key to other truck. Now, 6 weeks in from initial install, waiting on reschedule of last two replacement (again!) then county inspection, then they have to come back and install nail covers (assuming they pass inspection). This company is a joke...a really bad one! read more

This branch is TERRIBLE. I have used Window World in Brevard on 3 house flips. Then started buying in Ocala area. Sharon the manager here is awful. She is super rude and unprofessional. The whole project last year was done wrong. I requested CWS windows made in Ocala they ordered different window manufacturer the windows don't auto-lock and I am stuck with them. The front door and window they didn't even order which put my project 3 extra months behind. Sharon had the nerve to ask me for text messages proving my door order and cws windows even though it was on the contract. What happened is the bidder put it in the basket for measurements and no one ever came out to measure for the door. I called multiple times to check on status never did they mention the door hadn't been ordered till window install day and I was missing a door. They also installed a window with a huge hand print defect on the inside. They don't quality check their windows prior to installing them only further delaying completion. It's a complete cluster F$@K. Fast forward a year almost I am getting a bank loan now on the property and the bank is doing due diligence. They found Window World never closed out the NOC on my property so I may lose my underwriting due to delay. Sharon the manager blames my bank for not doing their job. They are literally doing due diligence and their job. Sharon makes excuses for all her and her office's inadequacies and is a nasty person. She even hangs up on customers. They have absolutely no customer service skills or integrity. I try to reach the owners and they are nearly impossible to find and seem like they don't care at all about their customers. They live in Brevard county they are not even local to Ocala. Out of sight out of mind. Will never do business with these incompetent, rude, lazy, unprofessional awful fraudulent business and people ever again!! The bidder and installers were the only good thing I can say about this company. I am an experienced property flipper and work with dozens of contractors. These people are terrible. Run!! read more
