Jams, fresh fruit, fresh flowers, homemade breads, artisan olive oil and balsamic vinegars, pastries, homemade soaps, and so much more. This farmers market was probably one of the best I've been to and I've been to a lot. You could feel the care and attention every merchant put into their craft.

It's a wonderful way to start Sunday! A lovely bike ride into town where delicious produce straight from our local farmers awaits

I love going to the Windsor market! It's nearby so we ride our bikes over and load up on fruits & veggies for the week. The vendors are kind & knowledgeable and they all present beautiful tasty fresh produce that no store can compare to.

Windsor Farmers Market is open Sundays from 9:30 to 12:30 from April to mid-Dec and Thursday nights from 5-8 from June to August and is located on the Town Green. They have a great selection whether you are looking for fresh vegetables and fruit, jams, olive oil, plants, flowers, candles, and so much more! They have a little something for everyone. I ended up getting a small succulent from Ukiah Succulents and it brightens up our home! I look forward to coming back soon since they have a great selection of items and it always feels great to support local farmers and purchase locally made items to support the community!

One of my favorite farmers markets. It's a must stop on Sunday mornings before heading to healdsburg for wine tasting. From unique bouquets of flowers, freshly baked pastries, local fruits and veggies, yummy raviolis (made from local ingredients) and of course the smoked salmon. If nothing else, if you like smoked salmon you MUST stop here. I can't remember the vendor's name but every time we've come to this market they've been there and we've purchased smoked salmon from them every time. If you're not sold by my review just walk by the vendor and they will be happy to provide you a HUGE sample to try. That's how they hook you in. I have brought friends and family to the market and they too love the salmon. It's a perfect way to start off the morning.

The Windsor Farmer's Market is always bringing something special to the town of Windsor! Located in the newly developed town green, the market is a venue for the community to put into action some of it's most noteworthy and RECORD BREAKING events! This past Sunday for instance, our local High school teamed up with another high school to raise funds for their Culinary Arts program. They brought in the Local Celebrity Michelle Anna Jordan ( I love her) to break her own 2003 record for the WORLDS BIGGEST BLT! it was beautiful! They sold very nice sized pieces of the sandwiches, and they were selling pretty well! The old record: 108 ft. this one in Windsor... 120 ft! We also have the record for the world's largest pumpkin pie, which was had by all in the town green on a Thursday Night Farmer's Market.in Oct. '03 The pie weighed a whopping 418 lbs. The Market Here is open on Sundays 10 am - 1 pm and Thursdays 5-8 pm. This is one of the real dazzling ones, not the biggest, but the quality is great! about 50 vendors which include artists and crafts people. You will find Breads, honey, oils, oysters, flowers, and many other amazing things besides the organic fruits and veggies that just scream out BUY ME ! I go crazy at this market! good thing i was so busy taking photos this time, my hubby was the one throwing back the goodies!

I usually take a look around, and leave with my bags full because Mike's also carries a wide selection of other goods we enjoy like local honey, dried fruit, cold drinks, and home-style canned pickles, olives, etc. that do not disappoint. This is also where I purchase our bread because I have not found this level of softness AND freshness in any supermarket. Mike's is a come-as-you-are kind of establishment who's employees leave you alone to shop, but are there if you have a burning question. A typical stop here is around $30-43 for a family of two. They are small in size but mighty in quality produce and beyond. I met a local customer Sloan who comes here almost weekly. I ended up leaving with two SEEDED watermelons, two honey dew melons, two Persian limes, a basket of peaches, one nicely ripe mango, okra chips, a special edition, I say special edition as I've seen NO other business, market, grocer with a VACUUM SEALED bag of Boom Chick A Pop kettle korn popcorn, natural local honey sticks, and lastly a new addition to my plant family. Something called a kimono mix. It's very pretty.

Pumpkin Patch with the Russian River Valley as backdrop…read more We were driving along the Russian River Valley and saw signs along the road leading to this pumpkin patch so we stopped by to check it out. This is a family-run, community-oriented farm in the Sonoma County. The owner was nice and friendly. During our visit he only required that masks be worn at the check-in tent or when we paid for any purchases towards the end (at exit), other than that we just needed to be mindful of keeping 6-ft distance from other patrons. I forgot to bring my mask with me but they supplied a disposable one and I didn't have to run back to the car. The farm field was pretty big and there are pumpkins everywhere, direction of the field was one way so we followed the path, went through a cornfield (don't worry, it's not a maze) and made our way around until the exit. The pumpkin patch will be operating until Halloween. Enjoy lots of pumpkins, decorative gourds, winter squash and lots more. They don't have a corn maze, or fancy rides and bouncy houses which is okay with me. We enjoyed an authentic farm experience and the beautiful backdrop of the Russian River Valley. Review #2415
