This is a wonderful place to buy meat, from chicken, pork, beef and sausages. They even have pre-made sandwiches, shepards pie and chicken pot pie. You might sometimes pay a little more but I think the quality is worth it.

Their product is top of the line. You walk in there and the meat options are endless! I have never scene so much bacon in my life. I am a huge lover of bacon and this was the perfect spot. The staff is very knowledgeable about their cuts of meat and when they are uncertain they will call an expert from the back. I was so impressed with the enthusiasm from the staff. They answered all my silly questions and knew how to dig information out of me to understand what I wanted in meat so they could provide the best product. I have yet to enjoy their prepared foods but one day I am going to make a meal out of it. They have somosas, kebabs, sweet spud fries etc. This is one amazing market and it appears the island has embraced it as well. He answered my questions and grabbed the pieces I asked for instead of the biggest ones. I've cooked up half of what I bought and the meat is excellent. The shop is spacious and comfortable and has pantry items, freezer and dairy on the perimeter walls so if you need to wait it's not unpleasant to do so.

The pricing is very economical and would even silence my picky grandmother. Perhaps because it is family owned and in a not so busy market place. It offers three categories of products: the regular butcher stuff, sliced and ready to go plates of beef lamb pork etc for hot pot, and marinated sausages and Chinese chacuterie meats. I've only had experience with the regular stuff and I've been very satisfied with the level of quality, service, and price. For instance when I approach the counter the owner is always prompt to greet me and for the pig trotters I always get, he'd give them a further shave and slice them into small pieces for me. I like the variety here and besides the standard burger items, this shop is definitely catered to an Asian kitchen: LongGang free range chicken, duck and chicken feet, various innards, pigs blood, intestine etc. For those into that type of stuff this is good place to find them and for those adventurous chefs open to trying new ingredients, this is a cool stop also.
