My husband love chorizo sausages, so I thought I should stop by and pick some up. I heard their sausages were fantastic! It's a small full service butcher place that carries all natural meats from lamb, beef, chicken, pork, alligator yup I said alligator, kangaroo, Oh my and so much more frozen and fresh! They carry raw pet food for your four legged friends, and also has a great selection of cured meats. But getting back to why I came in the first place the sausages! They have a long list of sausages!! I ended up getting turkey apple sage, honey lavender sausage, lamb sausage and pork chorizo sausage yup I did! The owners told me how to cook the sausages so it won't dry out, and it tasted Delish!!!! The new owners took over the original owners of 3P and soon this place will only be called Natural & Exotic Meats. They were are married couple super sweet and cute! I wish this place was near me but again if it was I might start to look like a sausage. I will have to come back and be more adventurist and try some exotic meats.

And this Swiss farmer sausage was amazing. We had not anything like that before and we were hooked. It was meaty, savory and not too salty with just a touch of sweetness on the outside. So we knew had to come back to get more and get more we did. We had asked if they could cut for us and the lady said they didn't normally cut the sticks but the gentleman said they would do it for us. So I loved that they did it for us again especially bc we thought it was just something they did from our visit. I also purchased a couple of sticks of landjaeger and wished I had picked up a few more. Those were just as delicious if not more than the Swiss farmer sausage. I'm tempted to book a hotel with a kitchenette for our annual anniversary trip to Steveston, simply to have a reason to slap together a charcuterie board for dinner, and really put this shop through its paces!

I was offered a dry aged Canadian Prime Rib steak which I was assured, was the best of the best. Turns out it was the worst dry aged steak I have ever eaten in my life. Gone was the rich, nutty meatiness of a good dry aged steak and instead all I got was the taste and aroma of old dried animal fat. If you've ever had bad prosciutto or Parma ham or even bad Chinese laap cheurng sausage or laap yuk, you'll know the taste. Definitely not what I was excepting for a $110 steak. I used the contact form on their website to report the issues I had and a few days later, there's no reply. Also, I can do without the hard sell sales pitch from the moment you walk in the door. Yes, the sales guy was friendly & nice to my kid, but the hard selling of everything I even took a glance at was a bit too much. Very disappointed indeed. One bonus was that the dog really enjoyed the steak. I fed it to him after 2 bites as I just couldn't palate it. He truly thanks you from the heart of his bottom.
