I still live here but new tenants be aware that they charge for parking and there is never any spaces available at night. One covered parking spot is $10 and $35 for another vehicle. I pay $45 a month and have to park on the street. At least 10 spots are taken up by motorcycles and inoperable vehicles and I can guarantee the motorcycles are not paying for parking. read more

To all current, potential, and future residents of Windsor Ridge, a FEDERAL CRIME was committed here in August of 2025. USPS informed me that the employee who delivers mail to Windsor Ridge reported mail theft to their supervisor as well as the apartment complex on 8/16/25. The photo USPS the employee submitted showed ALL mailboxes completely empty. USPS stated that since all mailboxes were completely cleared out but not physically damaged, this individual/these individuals have copies of ALL of our mail keys. Therefore, there's a high possibility this will happen again. The only real solution being that the property pays to replace the residents mailbox keys and/or installs security cameras where the mailbox are located. I was very disappointed to learn that this property doesn't have security cameras because when I was considering moving here, the leasing office agent I spoke to specifically told me that there were security cameras here at Windsor Ridge... I've contacted the office MULTIPLE TIMES about this FEDERAL CRIME that took place on their property and voiced concerns for my safety as well as the safety of fellow residents. I've also asked whether or not they filed a police report and what they plan to do to prevent this from happening in the future. Unfortunately, every representative I've spoked to has been extremely dismissive to my concerns, haven't even had the decency to even inform residents about what happened, and say that management is aware of what happened but no decisions have been made at this time. read more

My goal in writing this review is to be fair and give people looking to rent in this complex a realistic perspective of what it is like living in Windsor Ridge. First off, Windsor Ridge is run by Essex Property Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust whose primary goal is to make as much profit as possible. You can expect them to raise your rent as much as is legally allowed every year you live here. Luckily, the apartments were built in the 90s and are not exempt from the weak "Tenant Protection Act of 2019" passed by the state government, so it's limited to at most 10% per year. Every year I lived here, they increased the rent the max legal amount of 5% + the local inflation rate (generally 3-4%). They own a significant amount of properties in the Bay Area and collude with the other large corporate property management companies to raise rents across the board and bleed people dry. One laughable thing you may see when researching this complex is that it is advertised on Essex's website as "luxury apartments" with "high-end amenities" and a "sophisticated living experience". This is false advertising. I'm sure this marketing is done to enable Essex to bundle this complex into some investment portfolio of "luxury apartments" that they sell to investors. These apartments are strongly average and do not qualify as luxury. Now I will go into details on the aspects of living here. Appliances: - They claim the apartments have "high-end features" like stainless steel appliances. The dish washer, fridge, and stove/oven are bottom of the barrel appliances with a cheap stainless steel facade. They absolutely are not high-end/luxury appliances. That being said, they still more or less get the job done. + In-unit washer and dryer is a nice feature that some lower-end apartments don't have, so I will say that this is a plus. But again, the washing machine and dryer are bottom-tier appliances. Don't expect anything fancy. Apartment Construction: - The windows in these apartments are single-pane and basically do nothing to keep the heat out in the summer or warmth in during the winter. The units are equipped with a through-the-wall AC/heater that works okay. Expect to run this thing frequently in the winter to keep the apartment above 70 degrees, or wear some extra clothes inside. Similarly, it will need to run frequently during the hottest days of summer to keep the apartments cool. Luckily, the climate in Sunnyvale is generally mild. - There is no insulation in the walls between units. Sound penetrates the walls so much that you can basically hear your neighbors fart. This not only applies to neighbors you share a wall with horizontally, but also above and below. + Other than these two issues, the apartment construction is fine. The flooring is loose-lay vinyl with a wood texture. The countertops are a solid surface type. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are made from particle board with a wood texture wallpaper. The cabinet hardware is made from cheap stainless steel, as evidenced by rusting of the hinges and handles in the bathroom due to moisture from the shower. Overall, pretty standard for this type of apartment. Utilities - One of the more upsetting things about living in this complex is the utilities. Essex makes you pay for EVERYTHING separate from your rent. Water, sewer, garbage, energy for hot water, energy for apartment, internet, and a "service fee" because they get some third-party company (ironically named CONservice) to send you the bill. This adds $250-$300 on top of your already high rent. - The apartments are not individually metered for water due to the complex's age, so the water/sewer bill is split amongst all the apartments based on square footage of the apartment, not individual use. If you are efficient with your water usage, you will be subsidizing your neighbors' water usage. - The third-party company that sends you the bill doesn't even include the overall water, sewer, trash, and energy charges to the complex, so you can't even see the calculations used to arrive at your utility bill to see if there is anything suspect going on. Update on the last update - we tried reaching out to management for the previously mentioned "face to face" conversation....not a single person picked up the phone in the office and is rarely available during business hours. I even sent a message to the corporate help email only to be redirected to the same phone number in the office. ... Oh and as of late; Maintenance request tickets are going weeks prior to being addressed. (How long does it take Essex to change a light bulb? Answer- 14 days). read more

One of the most overpriced places I've ever seen. I'd recommend staying away from Windsor Ridge specifically anything managed by Essex. Their business model is taking as much money as they can from you. They nitpicked the wall conditions of the apartment after I left and took over my deposit and charged me for full paint. The walls were clean when I left them even in the report they gave to me, the photos show clean walls!! Same for the carpets, my pet had an accident on one of the carpets and they decided to change all the carpets for all the rooms and charged me for it. Additionally, be aware of the 30-days notice because they will use it to charge you for a whole month rent if you are not careful. I rented many apartments before and previous managements tolerated shorter notices. Essex won't, which tells you how they operate. This place made me feel horrible each time I paid the rent, never had that feeling before. I'm finally out and in a much better, bigger, modern and cheaper place, and in the same neighborhood. These are some of the pain points I faced living in that place: 1. The utility bill is really high, regardless of how much you use the water. 2. You pay a monthly rent for the car port that comes assigned with the apartment. You have to pay for extra spots in the visitors parking as well. I've never seen that anywhere else. Moreover, the carport is ridiculously tiny and super painful to use. You have to be careful not to hit your neighbor's car or the wooden pillars. The pillars are full of scratch marks from poor neighbors trying to use the damn thing. Getting in your car can be classified as an olympic sport given the required flexibility you need to get in and out without hitting your neighbor's car. I have a Miata and that tells you how bad it is. 3. The walls are too thin and you can hear your neighbors talking all day long. I used to wake up early in the morning on my neighbors baby crying. At night time, I went to bed on the sound of my couple neighbors fighting. 4. The appliances are old and outdated. The AC is something from the past age. Too noisy, consumes a lot of power, too weak, and is for the living room only. The washer and dryer are too old, looking at them makes you feel sad. 5. The bathroom looks too cheap for what you are paying for. The shower is too short and the bathtub tiles can't be any cheaper. 6. You have to pay attention how you walk because the floors are thin and you will definitely bother your downstairs neighbor, unless you are the downstairs neighbor. In that case, good luck! read more

I've been living at Windsor Ridge for 1.5 years and it has been a nice, safe residence to shelter in place. The maintenance team is particularly responsive, diligent, and friendly. Daniel in particular went out of his way to get an order in for a replacement washer unit before a long holiday weekend and made sure he was able to install it asap. The units are relatively spacious with nice lighting and balcony space. My main issue with them though are that the walls are very thin as people have mentioned. Luckily most of the residents are relatively quiet and keep to themselves. There is one unit who keeps a dog on a balcony unattended and allows it to bark at people passing by most of the day though. The management office responded to my mention of the noise relatively quickly, reaching out to the unit, and the noise has somewhat gone down. Other messages I've sent have taken a bit more prodding to get a response from someone in the office, but I don't believe I've had any messages go unanswered completely. All in all, a decent place to live. read more

The only good thing about this complex is the staff. Marco, Josh and Miguel were wonderful. I moved into a renovated home, which looked really good. But that was the last bit of happiness. I lived in this complex for 11 months and it was bad. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from the next room. I could hear every movement from the house above, it becomes worse when the shower was turned on as it made a loud noise. Lastly they will not return your deposit. For the Move out inspection I was told everything is in order and there would be minimum deduction, but finally they kept all the money. Not worth the price you paying. read more

Where do I even start. I have been meaning to write this review since I moved out in October after my one year lease was over. First and foremost the Windsor ridge is flat out not safe. I had my $1000 bike stolen from my balcony within the first few months. There are criminals strolling through the complex every night looking to steal your possessions. They stole the wheel caps off my car, they stole my friends wallet in his car, there are homeless entering the complex all day and all night long rummaging through the garbage. Windsor Ridge wanted to raise our rent to $2500 a month for a one bedroom apartment but they don't have the funds to build a gate and hire security? Next, the entire complex is absolutely infested with roaches. My unit was infested. As soon as you opened the door to throw out the garage at dusk, you will see them everywhere, thousands of them. And yes they even get inside your home through pipes, cracks, etc, even if you clean everyday. Spraying doesn't help as they just come back. The garage services that you pay for monthly only come once a week! They come at 5AM and wake up the whole unit! The garbage piled up and stinks up your whole apartment and balcony. The roaches thrive off it. The quality of the building is trash, cheap laminate, plastic countertops and bathroom tile, cheap appliances, and razor thin walls. You can sleep at night as you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. We had left the apartment in excellent condition after moving out, Windsor ridge not only robbed us of our security deposit but also requested an additional $500 on top of it for standard repainting of the entire apartment and mandatory carpet cleaning? Thanks Marco! They deserve to be investigated for charging astronomical utility fees, $150 a month for a 1 bedroom? Gym is trash, complete lack of equipment, Only positive's were the jacuzzi and the maintenance. The Russian guy was amazing. Don't live here. The neighbors are all unfriendly and don't even say hello. The management just wants to rob you for every penny you are worth. The roaches will keep you up at night. read more

I love the spacious unit and since I have a top floor unit the vaulted ceilings make the unit look great and feel bigger than most other similar sized units. This place used to be one of the better communities in Sunnyvale. However, since the start of the pandemic things went downhill. The trash is usually overflowing, the lawns are unkept, parking a car is unsafe. I know multiple people living there who's cars were broken into. I'm glad I decided to leave as on the day I was moving out my apartment was burglarized!! When I called the office and asked them to be present while the cops came around, they never showed up. Windsor finally refunded the extra rent they had taken from us, 2 months after moving out. However, they didn't update their record and again we got a debt company chasing after us. We had to write in again and have them update their record. The whole time, their property manager James was MIA, no help rendered, no response to email. When we tried calling the leasing office directly, they simply push the blame around. Jason from the leasing office insists he is not able to help in anyway and nonchalantly says we should just keep reaching out to James, he won't be able to provide any assistance. It's been a very disappointing process. If you intend on staying at Windsor, pray hard that everything falls in place 100% for you else the slightest hiccup will leave you frustrated as the leasing office staff offers no help and you're at their mercy to when they choose to entertain you. read more

We've lived in this property for over 2 years, so the options expressed here are not just 1-offs, but instead are consistent experiences: The Good: The maintenance team (especially Mohammed), are fantastic! Even during COVID, they've continued to maintain the complex and fix issues promptly (and someone is always on-site) The apartments are decent, modern units, with W&D in-unit and ample extra storage on the patio The common areas are pretty, and well-maintained (other than the grills) As an Essex property, they are very flexible with leasing terms (including many term options). If you need to break your lease early and move to another Essex unit/property, they will only charge you $500. The Bad: The management and office team are abysmal. All we've gotten from them are broken promises, lack of communication, and failures to follow through. A few examples: When we signed our first lease, they told us they were planning to put in a dog park... that clearly never happened When there was an issue with the grills, their solution was to disconnect them so they couldn't be used. However, there was no communication sent out regarding this. We had to ask the front office 3 times before they finally purchased 2 replacement grills 2+ months later (still, never sending out an email). To this day, the grills are barely ever stocked with propane They randomly decided to board up the hot tubs... AGAIN, without sending out an email explaining anything When we tried to renew our lease in May, they refused to lower the rent, even though the other open units in the complex were going for 10-15% less! In fact, they claimed they were "keeping the rent the same", but secretly tried to add in a parking fee (which they later removed after When our pet got certified as an ESA, they were supposed to refund us the pet deposit and stop charging us pet rent. They did neither, and continued to charge us until I came to the office 3 times! After that, Marco promised the "refund check was in the mail".... That never came, but it must have gotten lost in the mail right? Nope! They never issued it! How do I know? Well, after talking to them AGAIN, and them finally issuing it, it immediately showed up on our online account. Read the other reviews, and you'll find that anything related to them paying you money back will not be resolved easily or correctly without way too much effort. read more

Property management is super quick in responding to the requests. The apartment itself does what it promises in terms of quality, gym, swimming pool, no surprises there. We did have a cockroach problem after living for a year but after using cockroach spray one time all the cockroaches disappeared. Also, after a year our laundry machine broke and they replaced with in 2 days. Overall a great experience. read more

Daniel, the maintenance man, was amazing! He always comes as soon as he gets notice. He figures out the way to fix the problem and bam! It's fixed. He really is amazing snd great! The rest of the staff is really nice in the office, but usually things never get resolved or fixed. But they are super nice and I'm sure they mean well, it's just super frustrating. Also, if you are just moving in, make sure you are allowed to see the apartment at least a few days prior to move in. But make sure to ask them if the apartment has actually been cleaned. We were horrified when we walked in and the office had no idea that someone had given us the key to view it. It had not been cleaned, which left a sour imagine in our minds that is hard to erase. However, the day we moved in, four days after the nightmare, the apartment was beautiful and super clean. They overcharged on the deposit by quite a lot. The website says $600. But we're we over double with a perfect credit score, FICA is really high as well as income was met. Originally the deposit was so outrageous we apologized but said we had to decline the lease we had signed because with moving costs and their deposit of $3,346, it was way more ty ran anyone could. So please do what I sis and negotiate for a lower one. I've been told by neighbors who have lived here a long time and I've heard from people across the street at the other complex that Essex is notorious for never returning deposits no matter how clean and no matter whether upon move out the staff come in to inspect. Sign off that everything is perfect and yet still, they don't get their deposit back. The deposit I finally negotiated wa way more than I've ever paid and I never leave an apartment or home not in perfect shape. I don't know what I will do if when we ever decide to move out (which we are not planning on because we love it here despite the negative information I am giving. So make sure to do you die diligence to cover yourself As an example. A new friend two complexes over, said they had a really bad roof leak. They called to have someone come over for an emergency (this was two years ago she said). The staff came in and said it was their fault and changed them $3,000. Because her husband works for Essex, they took it out of his paycheck. While I've given you a lot to think about, I still would move here again. The staff, while not great at responding, they are very kind and nice and Sid work with me on the deposit when I said we weren't going to be able to move in. Even though the deposit was way too much. The place is nice.The apartment is very nice. It's small but very nice. The various neighbors Arr rally kind. And again, Daniel in maintenance has always been perfect, quick, kind, knowledgeable and quick to respond. ! read more

I stayed at this community for one year and I think I have experienced better for the amount of rent I paid. Here are the pros and cons - Pros - Very good maintenance staff and service. Whenever we had an issue in our apartment, it was fixed almost the next day Cons - Extremely poor sound proofing, I could hear my neighbors upstairs walking, jumping, snoring, flush sound from the restroom upstairs, you name it. Even within the house, I could hear people talking in the living room from my bedroom all the time - Community gym didn't have working equipment most time of the year. Out of the two treadmills, one was under repair for 3 months and the only cycling machine kept creaking whenever used. Gym mats had flattened out completely making it useless for any kind of exercise. - Community performs weekly leaf blowing in the wee hours, making it impossible to sleep as they pass right past your windows (for apartments on ground floor) In a nutshell, if you decide on staying here please check the sound proofing, quality of gym equipment and prefer an apartment on first floor for a quieter stay read more

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! My wife and I moved here from the East Coast in the summer of 2013. We wanted to live in the city, but the apartments are overpriced and small. We were a bit skeptical about signing a lease without seeing the place, but the staff was very helpful. They sent us pictures of the unit that was available. Everything was newly renovated. We arrived in CA a day early and they even let us move in a day early. When we saw the apartment, it met our expectations. We were just glad that the apartment was a sh*thole. Everything was great at the beginning. And then they announced they would be renovating the exterior of the apartment complex. We were not compensated a penny for the disturbance. We basically lived in a construction zone from Dec. 2012 until we moved out in Sept. 2013. I work from home. It was so noisy that I had to buy noise-cancellation headphones to be productive. We signed a one-year lease that expired July 2014. When we got the letter of renewal from management (around May 2014), I went to the office to see if it was possible to sign a two month lease because my wife and I had bought a house that was set to close in early September 2014. I explained our situation to the manager and she was very helpful. The manager sent us a two-month lease and we signed it. About two weeks before we were set to move out, I inquired about their move out policies, i.e., when we needed to hand in our keys, what kinds of things do they look for when they move out, etc. They were not "aware" that we wanted to move out, even though I explicitly told them we bought a house and only wanted to sign a two month lease. If you read the lease, there is a clause buried within it that states you have to give written notice of intent to leave 30 days before you leave the apartment. Also, the lease automatically renews if you do not give notice. We also never received a notice of renewal unlike the previous time our lease was about to expire. We ended up having to pay an extra months rent at the 2-month lease rate, which was around $3000 per month. Management didn't seem to care and just said that the terms were in the lease that you signed. The staff at the Windsor Ridge is very friendly. But don't let that fool you. Windsor Ridge is owned by Essex Property Trust, a company that's sole purpose is to make money from tenants. They will pass on any extra costs to the tenants any chance they get. I wish this was the only bad thing about our experience, but it gets worse. We have a dog. Windsor Ridge advertises itself as being "PET FRIENDLY". Not so much. After we moved out, they charged us to replace the carpets because their inspector found "large amounts of urine" throughout apartment. This cost us around $700. There are many reasons why this is false and borderline insulting: 1) My dog is house-trained. Sure a dog may have the occasional accident, but the report found urine in every room of the house. 2) I work from home and was able to take my dog out on regular walks. I took her out for regular walks at 6 am, 12 pm, 5 pm, and let her out around 10 pm before I went to bed. 3) Whenever I was out of the apartment for an extended period of time on the weekends, I scheduled a dog walker to come by to let her out. 4) Whenever I was on vacation, I boarded her at the vet. 5) The urine inspection report said there was urine in places where we had furniture, making it impossible for my dog to pee there. 6) The urine inspection report found "large amounts of urine" in a hallway that was not carpeted. Even though we regularly cleaned the hallway, I never had to clean up a puddle of urine in the hallway. I have been in regular contact with the company to get further clarification and resolve this situation, but have been unsuccessful to date. I keep on getting the answer of "I'm waiting for more documentation from the front office". In addition to the $700, they also charged us $300 for damage because they had to clean the apartment and paint the walls. We cleaned the apartment before we moved out. The walls were not damaged beyond normal wear and tear. The place was not spotless, but the place was clean. Had I known they were going to charge us a cleaning fee after we cleaned, I would have rather not cleaned and left them a big fat piece of sh*t on the carpet for them to clean up. At least then, they'd be justified in charging us an extra $1000. In total, we paid the Windsor Ridge an extra $4000. We choose this place because it was cheaper than living in the city and had extra space, but had we known how much we would be charged, I would've rather paid the extra money to live in the city. read more

I lived here with my girlfriend from 2011-2013. We had the worst experience! In that time, we were burglarized. And surprisingly, "no one saw anything happen"! You think, "Sunnyvale" safe area....nope! The leasing manager was a hypocritical parking nazi. I say this because she told everyone that lived in the complex that you cant back Into spots anymore. But when it came to her car, she allowed herself to park crooked and across the line(we still have photos) IF YOU ARE GOING TO LEAD? LEAD BY EXAMPLE! Lastly in the two years that we lived there, the rent was hiked up $200 every year! For substandard living quarters. I.E. Cabinets falling apart since move in, constant water shut offs. noisy children that flood the complex, running up and down the walkways,screaming! People stealing packages felt at door by USPS. I lived here for 3.5 years before moving out to live with the girlfriend. I never had real problems and whenever something broke or a drain was clogged, the service people would have it fixed the next business day. (Maintenance doesn't work weekends.) Most of the office staff knew me by name since I was often in the office getting packages and they were always friendly. They also responded pretty quickly to things happening on the grounds. A group of kids were constantly on scooters zipping around the complex almost running you over when going around walkway corners and almost getting run over when riding by cars backing up. After a number of complaints they banned scooters. I loved my apartment but it did have some goofy things going on. I had a top floor one bedroom with a loft and vaulted ceilings. I loved the openness of the vaulted ceilings but the location of the stairs to the loft (which I made my 'office') was in an odd location. It cut across a wall in the living room making the living room pretty narrow. To keep it open I never had a coffee table. Not all layouts have this though so if you have a choice, get the one where stairs run next to the kitchen. There's also some odd areas I wasn't sure what to do with that wasted some space, like under the stairs and a niche in the bedroom. Guess it depends on your furniture and decorations. I do have to give mention to the extremely large storage area on the balcony. I definitely miss this now as I had a ton of boxes, tubs, costco purchases AND my bike in there. I never heard any noise from my neighbors other than the next door dishwasher and rarely the bathroom fan. The only problem I had with neighbors was a woman on the ground floor who would smoke on her patio. The complex is very open (not gated or fenced) but I felt very safe and never had any issue with my car which was parked right along Wolfe Rd. Speaking of parking, it's pretty full. If you get home late (like after 8-9pm) you'll probably have trouble finding any unreserved spots. The apartments come with one reserved spot but it may be an issue for families with multiple cars. There's always street parking and there's usually room in the complex across the street which is owned by the same company. There's not too much to the grounds but they're maintained well. I could never figure out their pool heating schedule however. Maybe they stopped turning it on at all. There's a second pool that I actually forget even existed until I was moving out. In terms of cost, they were raising my rent again to a point that seemed a little high considering I was in an unrenovated apartment but the year before I talked them down several hundred dollars so that may have worked again if I weren't moving out. In short, I loved my apartment and never had any major issues with anything. The only reasons I'm deducting a star is the couple goofy layout things (but there are multiple floorplans to look at) and rent was getting a little high for a one bedroom. read more

I've had great experiences at this place. Even though the appliances and built in furniture are not the newest and most stylish (I got a splinter too) - it's still a home which is within a reasonable price range. Not a very noisy area, and I didn't really even hear other people when I visited. Older apartment complex, but it's built to the standards back in the day. The avg. apartment in the area is right about at that ball park figure yet SMALLER.... I've seen so many places yet this property group ESSEX has gotten my vote. I lived here about a couple years ago. The reason why I am writing a review for this place is because they were the best apartment that I have lived in so far. I never really had any serious complaints. It is a quiet community and they are good about fixing problems quickly. The ladies at the leasing office at the time were really nice and understanding. The cons: Parking! After 6 pm, it's difficult to find extra parking. Luckily, the building I lived in was close enough to park on the street or the empty parking lot next door, so this was not too much of a big issue for me. I also remember some beat up cars parking at spots and not moving them for months. I complained about it being unfair and it took months for them to tow the car. read more

I have lived here for the last 6 months and have really enjoyed it. Marco made the move in process very easy. The maintenance team are absolutely wonderful! Mohamed and Josh very responsive and always greet me and my scottie which just makes my day!! The landscaping around building is just beautiful as well. Gosh where do I even start. This place has been a NIGHTMARE to live at. I would NOT recommend living here if you have an option. Heck, if I can...I'd give it 1/2 a star. After Jacqui left this place pretty much went south. I lived in a 2br/1bth. From the outside the place looks new, but the inside is a whole different ballgame. The cabinets in the 2br are so old that they try to hide it by covering it with stick-on laminate....you can smell the nasty funk in them as well as see the termite sawdust on your pots and pans. The stainless steel furniture are pretty much the cheapest base models. The a/c unit is probably from the 80's and just pulls electricity like crazy. The floor is cheap laminate and the windows and sliding glass door is old. EVERYTHING in this place screams CHEAP!!! For the price you pay to live here you can find better elsewhere. Our apartment was on the third floor facing the pool...bad idea. You can be guaranteed no sleep during summer-nights as some people have no concept of "PEOPLE WORK" and there's no curfew as to how long you can party at the pool. So lets get into the nitty gritty of not just the condition of the place, but the staff itself that runs the place...especially the INCOMPETENT Manager. I'm seriously stunned as to why people don't sue this place more as this Manager is probably the WORST I have ever had to deal with. INCOMPETENT, LAZY and just PLAIN RUDE about sums her up. We were given notice that they were raising the rent, so we've decided that we weren't going to pay more for the same space as they were renting a 2br/2bth for. We went to the office (fluke it was actually open as it's usually closed) to let them know that we were interested in the 2br/2bth they were FULLY renovating. One of the staff told us that it was in the renovation stage and couldn't show it to us because of lawsuit issues. Fine, we told her we were interested and to please let us know when it's available. We then told her that we needed to do this ASAP as our lease was about to end and we refuse to renew it under the same conditions we're living in. She told us not to worry. A week goes by and still nothing, so my husband emails them to follow-up. The Manager emails him back to let him know that it's been rented. No - "I'm so sorry we'll work with you as we've messed up." We had no other option. We couldn't stay at the same complex as they were doing an entire overhaul of the exterior (i.e. ripping off the entire sidings, patios, etc.) and we had a newborn who was 1.5 months old at the time. There was no way our newborn would be able to sleep through all the noise/hammering, etc. We moved out and a month later we received a bill from them stating that we had to pay a month's rent as well as their cleaning cost because we hadn't given them sufficient notice. In the end we took them to court and only paid the cleaning cost. read more

This apartment is a headache. If you respect your time and money do not move into this apartment. Our car was broken into once and later was stolen. The place suffers from book keeping after Malissa and Jacqui left. They constantly double charge tenants and as I am writing this review I am still waiting for one refund check. If you are a working professional and would like to avoid spending your time running after a refund check or trying to correct a $50 overcharge stay away from this awful complex with its horrible management. read more

We've loved living here for the past couple years! I can't say enough about Josh and the maintenance team. They are unbelievably fast and always do a great job. Everyone is super friendly and they work very hard to keep the complex running smoothly. They even offered to let us use a vacant apartment's laundry room when our washer broke. This is all greatly appreciated especially in the Bay Area where rent is incredibly high no matter what. Thanks Josh and team! read more
