Found this company a couple months ago when inquiring about a wine tour to Valle de Guadalupe…read more Unfortunately, they were booked out but Jane was kind enough to not only connect me with another person in the industry who could offer the tour location we wanted AND offer us a package for a different location. I was truly blown away by her transparency and her communication so I decided to proceed with her company. It was super easy to coordinate the logistics and itinerary. Not only was the itinerary perfectly curated, but she went above and beyond to make my group feel celebrated and appreciated. She congratulated my group on our accomplishments and even got me a cute "bride" headband to celebrate my recent engagement. Very sweet and thoughtful! In addition, safety is clearly a top priority. The date we chose happened to be an extremely hot day and Jane took initiative to rearrange our itinerary to make sure we could still enjoy the day and keep as cool as possible. Lunch was catered from a local farm to table local business and it was absolutely delicious- definitely make sure you have enough appetite to enjoy it! We also paid extra for a wine and cheese pairing and we are SO glad we did. Some things to consider/ tips: 1. Our day started a little rocky due to inevitable traffic and a wrong turn, but Jane quickly resolved the issue with the driver and we had a great time moving forward. If you have the option to board your shuttle early definitely do it. 2. Time at each winery is pretty limited.. you won't have too much time to take all the photos you'd like AND sit and enjoy your tastings per winery visit.. if you're determined to get a good selection of photos bring your glass with you and do your best to keep up with those just tasting. There were a few moments we felt a bit rushed because we wanted to do both. 3. If music selection on your shuttle is important to you, have the person in charge of tunes arrive to the shuttle early to set up the blue tooth. It was trickier to set up than we aniticpated so there was a good 20 minutes of silence and troubleshooting happening as we were on the road Overall, Jane is a SUPERB host and does everything in her power to make sure you have the best experience. His motto was always "Give me a couple of wine barrels, a wooden plank over them, two old Italian guys and a couple of yeller dogs, and that is my idea of a tasting room". Well, the Valle de Guadalupe has some spots that are near as up scale as current Napa and Sonoma. But WAY off the beaten path and with the same kind of charm and passion that wine making seemed to have in the pioneering days of mid-century Northern California. Having been on lots of wine tours and tastings, it isn't often I find I learn a lot about wine making and its history. Chris, part owner of BTK, was our tour-guide and did a marvelous job of talking about the history of the valley, growing conditions, wine makers, local history that influenced wine making technology, etc. I found I learned a lot; in part because Chis is a very engaging story teller. The best part was the wine and the wine makers. We were VERY pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wines we tasted. Eleven wines total at two incredible wine making facilities, and every one a winner! Wish we could have taken home a lot more than we did. We had the good fortune of meeting the owners of Vena Cava, who clearly enjoy people and love their craft and the local industry they are building. The 2012 Reserve is easily one of the best wines I've ever had. And the winery is...well...unique, with a great story. Chris and Jen, thank you for a wonderful day. We had a great experience with Bolt Transportation Party Bus! They were easy to work with,…read moreaccommodating to my questions and requests and priced fairly.  Brian the owner even helped with suggestions about pick up and drop off locations and times. The group had a blast and the bus was a big part of it.  We rented the white, 25 -person passenger bus which was super nice and clean, lit up with party mood lights and also included a sweet dance pole at the back of the bus. The sound system was rad, it connected to my phone (via bluetooth) and played a custom Spotify playlist just for the party. Our bachelor and the crew were stoked on everything with the bus, even the seats were lavish, comfy and had sweet cup holders built into them.  Our driver Jessica was a champ! She was not only a great driver, (driving a large vehicle with drunken, loud nerds is not easy) but she was also very accommodating. She had a copy of our itinerary and timeline to start with,  but was very flexible with us when we stayed in various spots longer than planned.   I highly recommend Bolt for any sort of mobile event or celebration. On Saturday, Dec. 8th at approx 12:50PM, your female driver made a very dangerous lane change. She…read morewas on the Friars Road off ramp of I-15 southbound. There are two lanes that ONLY turn left onto Friars Road and two lanes that ONLY turn right onto Friars Rd. Your driver was in the left-most lane of the two lanes to turn RIGHT. I was coming up to Friars Road on the off ramp, and was positioned in the right-most lane of the two lanes to turn LEFT. ***Your driver crossed a SOLID white line to change in the lane I was in as she realized she needed to make a left turn and was not in the correct lane to do so.*** I can only surmise she was NOT paying attention as she had plenty (emphasized) of time to make the adjustment. I know this clearly because I was the lead car in my lane and the off ramp from I-15 southbound onto Friars Rd is very (emphasized) long. There was no one in front of me and I was a bit of distance behind the Bolt Party Bus. Instead, the driver made an ILLEGAL, not to mention UNSAFE, lane change into MY lane, crossing a SOLID WHITE LINE to do so and only because I was paying attention was I able to make a quick lane change myself (into the left most of the two left lanes turning left) to get out of your driver's way. Had I not been able to make the lane change, she would have caused an accident. What she should have done was make the right turn onto Friars Road and then turn her "party" bus around when it was LEGAL and SAFE to do so. As we were completing our left turns onto Friars Road, I did blow the horn to signal to her that what she did was not a safe driving maneuver. I made no other gestures. When were at a point where I could see into her bus, she was looking directly into my vehicle. Why??? If she was paying attention to the road, there was no need for her to look at my vehicle. Her facial expression presented to me an aggressive driver and one that needs 'training' or RE-training. I continued along Friars Road (east bound) and on three different occasions I looked at her and she was still staring directly into my vehicle. I will look for your response before leaving this comment on YELP--since your website professes a 5-Star rating on Yelp. (Side note: I received no response from Bolt and therefore left my comments above). Never ever would I use this company. Driving is unsafe enough without putting my life into the hands of an aggressive "party bus" driver.
