The gentlemen we had were friendly and took care of all of our luggage. The company has great communication. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:45am but at around 9pm the night before I started getting nervous that we should leave a few minutes earlier, so I sent them an email asking if we could leave at 4:30am instead, really not expecting anyone to respond in time. They actually emailed me back within 10 minutes and confirmed the earlier pick-up time. Then, our return flight landed at PDX (an unheard of!) 40 minutes early. As soon as we touched down I texted the number to see if there would be any way someone could come pick us up for 40 minutes earlier than planned, again not necessarily expecting a response - especially since it was close to midnight. However, they texted me back instantly that my driver would be in touch with me soon, and sure enough our driver texted me within a few minutes. By the time we grabbed our suitcases off of the conveyor and walked a few minutes to the curb, our driver was already there and waiting despite us being 40 minutes early - and, again, it was close to midnight on a Wednesday. We are customers for life!

The choice was an Uber, which would not have worked for our situation, or a luxury car service. Hewar was wonderful from when I first called him to arrange our trip. He was attentive and patient, even when I called him multiple times with questions. The manager, Rasheem, met us at baggage claim. Our driver, Zhieco, was professional and friendly. He helped us get our (very heavy) luggage into the hotel. On the other hand, the company I called first did not give me a chance to explain why we needed help at baggage claim. As soon as he heard that, he immediately said he couldn't help me. He threatened to post my phone number online when I wrote him a one-star review. I was shocked. I would've taken it down, regardless, because I don't post bad reviews. So, I was especially glad to talk with Hewar on my second phone call. I highly recommend Elite. If I ever need a service like this again, I will for sure call Hewar.

She had to go all the way to Eugene which is a two hour ride. I found Portland Luxury on Yelp and the owner Billy put me and my wife at ease. He tracked my daughters flight information, picked her up directly at the airport and texted her before she landed with all of the directions on where to meet. He even texted me when he picked her up and at the end of the ride to confirm she arrived safely. I am from the New York area and did not have a connection in Portland but I am so great full for Billy and Portland Luxury. I rely on Jorge (Coco) and Koiyan week-in and week-out for all of my trips to and from the airport. I know that they are going to show-up - or call me with any changes due to traffic or challenges due to scheduling. The courtesy, professionalism and care they put into their work is evidenced in the way that Jorge texts his customers to confirm a pick-up; or in the bottles of water they make available in all of their vans. There seems to be a misguided assumption that "door-to-door" shuttle vans are more expensive than metered cabs. This is truly a misnomer. Sunrise PDX Airport Shuttle is the most economical shuttle service (and one of the very best) around. I trust Jorge and Koiyan week-after-week for pick-ups and drop-offs at all hours of the day and night. They really are the best!

He scheduled a 1:15pm pickup for his 4:30 pm flight. Nexus had to change the schedule and picked him up at 12:30 pm instead, which turned out to be fine. They emailed and texted him ahead of time, so their communication was great. I think we'll be skipping our normal shuttle service and using this one. It's a smidge more expensive, but you're getting door to door drop off with a smaller business owner, which we love to support when we can.
