My daughter and my husband (her father) had a wonderful time with Christine Blanton teaching them their Father-Daughter wedding dance. My daughter picked the music and Christine put together the choreography to match the words and beat of the song. Christine is a wonderful instructor and full of fun. She has a terrific sense of humor, and put the two of them at ease as she walked them through the steps, then danced them though the steps with music. She broke the whole routine into 3 units of about 45 to 60 seconds each - one for each lesson. Then the final lesson was putting them all together and polishing the presentation - where to be looking, how to keep in sync, how to look more graceful with their arms, and most importantly how to slow down, breathe and enjoy themselves. The lessons were a wonderful experience for the two of them, and Christine was terrific in her approach, her discussion of how to initiate each move (lead foot, hand and arm movements, head position), and key words in each portion of the song on which to trigger each series of moves. They received a standing ovation from everyone at the reception! People are still talking about it. This was a great experience and we would definitely hire her again, and would strongly recommend the same to anyone else for a dance for a special event. read more

My husband and I have no real formal dance experience and did not want to look ridiculous swaying back and forth like we were at a highschool prom.
