The food is…read moreconsistently delicious, service is always friendly and accommodating, and everything comes out incredibly fast. Most of my orders have been curbside pickup since it's right around the corner from my house, and the process has always been quick and seamless. Let me tell you about the Great Salmon Caper Sandwich. A soft, pillowy brioche bun, flaky grilled salmon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a creamy, tangy aioli. It is quite literally one of the best salmon sandwiches I've ever had. When I say I'll never get sick of this sandwich, I mean it. It's a genuine 10/10 and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The Cluckers are also excellent and come with an absurd amount of food. My only complaint is that the chicken pieces can sometimes be so large that the chicken-to-breading ratio feels a little off. Other than that, they're fantastic. The breading is seasoned perfectly, the chicken is juicy, and the price is extremely affordable for the portion size. The homemade honey mustard is also some of the best I've ever had and is easily my favorite dipping sauce on the menu. Wally's is one of those places that never disappoints. Fast service, affordable prices, generous portions, and consistently great food make it an easy recommendation.

It was good, however I think the wrap was missing the avocado ranch dressing so once I asked for that on the side, it really made it. Sweet potato fries with honey mustard always hit the spot.

It was nice so we sat on the patio. The brunch menu is small but packs a nice variety. I ordered the tater tot bowl minus bacon add chicken tinga. It was delicious. The tots were crispy, soft scramble egg, avocado, and cheesy goodness. My companion ordered the belly burger. She said it was delicious ious too. For apps we ordered the hummus. It was good. On a previous visit, I ordered the spicy peanut noodle bowl with shrimp and the dynamite shrimp app. Yum!! Both were loaded with flavor. Forgot to take a pic. From 10-11:30 on weeekends, mimosas are $1.99. What a deal!! And of course I had to try all the flavors! Cran-orange is my fav. They have a great happy hour, daily specials, kids menu, vegetarian menu and some gf options. I will definitely be back to try the pancakes and Nashville chicken Sammy. Shout out to Mike the manager and Rey my server my making my dining experiece so very lovely. This casual spot is ideal for families with small children, couples, groups and celebrations.

All the meals came out warmish but my toddler's meal was scalding hot. The teenager didn't like their cheeseburger, the toddler didn't want their French Toast which is wild since that's their favorite thing to eat. My breakfast tacos were flavorless and hubs basic breakfast was tasteless. We left a lot of food on the plates. Not a place we will be returning too. Looking around the place, everyone was ordering lots of drinks. I guess that's how the food tastes better. ‍

This review is based on the last two delivery orders we placed. I got the cajon salmon and shrimp with a side of Brussels sprouts and macaroni and cheese. It was delicious. I was surprised at how well it traveled as we live 20 minutes away. My husband got steak and fries the first time and chicken fried steak the second time. I'm already looking forward to eating it again this Sunday.

The one night recently, we had a friend in town and we had all got to talking at the house and forgotten to make dinner and it was after 9 o'clock. In Lee's Summit, your choices are limited for restaurants that are open later than that. So we opted to drive out to Iron Horse Bar and Grill. We got some onion rings that were as big as donuts and very tasty. The appetizer plate is huge; three of us couldn't eat it all. We then got a southwest salad with chicken and shared that. And I got the hot beef sandwich and Melissa suggested some garlic mashed potatoes with that. It was very delicious. The drinks were cold, but just OK. We had some specific orders and it was the bartenders first closing shift. He will get better.

I've found that bigger names and highly gifted performers come through Lawrence on their way cross country, so pay attention and research the artists scheduled on Sunday through Tuesday nights. (This is true of most Lawrence music venues). Cactus Blossom was 5 brothers from Minneapolis melding family voices like the syrupy blend of Everly Brothers harmonies; Justin Payne was originally a classical violinist who jettisoned to Nashville, got a waterfall of all other music influences, and traveled the road for over twenty years honing his skills at music and reading crowds. Look at the wall of promotional 8x10 glossies of the bands that have played here and you'll get the picture. Lots of acts you want to see today were at the Bottleneck when they were building their cred - and you may be able to say, "I saw them @thebottleneck BAE." Oh, btw - The Bottleneck is small enough that you can generally interact with the performers - and the shows get better with the energy of the audience. It's big enough to take a group of friends and small enough that the audience makes an impressive impact. (Ever notice how people respond to praise and encouragement?) Often, the musicians stick around to autograph their merch, discuss where to eat and drink, and enjoy midwestern hospitality along their grueling path to play for nameless faces in faraway places. Support the artists and inhale their blooming talent.

They've updated the sound and lighting systems. They've also done some work around the stage, repainted and cleaned the interior and semi fixed up the restrooms. This is a fun little venue. Whoever you come to see will look and sound good and you should have a good time.
