The father son duo were amazing and I loved the way they fed off of each other's personalities. I can't wait to go back and pick up a few more bottles.

I've been here a few times and it's always nice being remembered by the family. Bill, Lisa, and Tony are the sweetest people in town! They care about your tastes, they want to know who you are, and best of all, is they want you to be a part of their story. These people KNOW wine. They have mountains of experience, and scrupulous amounts of great taste. If you want a good time, belonging, and great wine, this is definitely the place to be. The wine tasting is the best bang for your buck you're gonna get. $20 for 5 pours? Sign me up! Bill does very fair pours, and he makes sure you know the story. Each bottle uses a different logo from their family history, and every picture has a unique story. It's always nice to hear how they pay tribute to their roots! Adds an extra depth fo the already flavorful wine! This is where I tried a Dry Muscat, and a Montepulciano for the first time. Have never even heard of these wines in my life! But now they're my favorites! Don't be afraid to ask them any questions, they're very knowledgable and eager to teach. I'd say I learned most of my current wine knowledge from this family!

Where to start?!? This place is amazing. I only wish I lived closer…read more The Wine: I had an incredible small-batch Primitivo that was aged in oak bourbon barrels. It was smoky and subtle at first, with a rich tannin finish and a warm, soft whisper of bourbon. Barely noticeable, but definitely there. I loved this wine and ended up buying several bottles to enjoy later. The Food: I wasn't expecting this, but it's a winery that also raises grass-fed, mountain-grown beef. My wife raved about the tri-tip salad, and I can honestly say I've never had a better smash burger. Ever. It was called the Black & Blue and featured two fresh smash patties smothered with grilled onions, cheddar, and blue cheese. The cheese intentionally overflowed the burgers and melted onto the grill, creating a ring of crispy, chewy cheddar and blue cheese around the entire edge of the burger. Absolutely fantastic. The Staff: The staff were outstanding. I had a great conversation with the owners, Mike and Beth, about their community and what they're building. Their passion and joy were obvious. Mia and Kim were attentive, friendly, respectful, and professional. Tie all of that together with a beautiful view of Bear Valley, and I honestly don't know what more I could have hoped for. This place exceeded my expectations in every way.

Such great service, scenery was lovely ( a country feel) and the WINE! I ordered a bottle of wine, and my boyfriend got the wine tasting. My friends went for getting glasses of wine which everyone loved their choices. Very tasty selection of food. We got the charcuterie plate which was beautiful and a good size. My favorite was the loaded tater tots with their yummy chili. Next time the smash burger. Another customer ordered it and it looked amazing. The owners were very kind, warm and friendly. Came out to check on us several times. Doggy friendly. Live music. Just an overall wonderful laid back time. Relaxing. Perfect. Hope to come back soon. Nice get away close to home.

The tasting is $15 for 4 wines made by them. The owner Ilda Vaja is so passionate about it she calls it a very expensive hobby. And I can't imagine what it takes to plant, care for, produce and bottle the wine every year. She was the sole managing person here this particular Friday and man was it such a fun conversation we had. We learned a lot about Tehachapi and how she started it and it is just heart warming to hear the story. She's also the first one to plant and produce a very good Malbec. The tasting consisted of a rosé, Cabernet, Merlot and Malbec. She served this with cheese, crackers and local chocolates! The ranch also has AirBNB rooms so be sure to check out her website for availability. Women owned, local and full of love. You can taste that in the product. During this weekend trip, I also visited 2 other wineries but I can tell you hands down, this was an absolutely memorable stop. I highly recommend stopping by here if you're passing by. I promise you the wine is great, the views and the person behind this winery are phenomenal. We ended up taking home 5 wines. During the week make an appointment. But weekends you can just stop by.

The woman helping us was incredibly kind and welcoming. She was originally from Argentina and shared so much interesting information about each wine we tasted in a way that felt personal and genuine. It was relaxed, cozy, and honestly just a really lovely way to spend the afternoon.
