Had such a lovely first visit at the Wine House. This spot is super trendy and cozy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for indoor as it's still early spring and they had blankets should you need one! My sister and I shared a flight and a charcuterie board. We chose 2 whites and a red - they were ALL fantastic and the charcuterie board had 4 types of meat, 3 cheeses, crackers, olives and grapes! Their staff was also kind and very attentive :) can't wait to come back

Cute spot! Nice location, not too far from downtown. Especially love the outdoor area with the fire pits. Solid wine selection and staff was really helpful with letting us taste some wines before committing to a bottle. I will say the last time I was here I liked their selection more, but it's fun to try different things from their rotation and you're sure to find something you like. Only bummer is they only offer flights on weekdays. We didn't order any food, but menu had a good selection from what we saw. Wish they offered desserts, as we came after dinner and wanted something sweet but our server was kind enough to give us some chocolate chips to pair with our wine lol. Great spot to share a bottle of wine with friends!

Cutest little wine house. Their wine selection was one point. I received a wine flight, and my husband got a glass. Highly recommend. Servers gave excellent recommendations. The music entertainment (Anthony ray music) made this house feel cozy and great vibes for a Saturday night.

He does that for all the guests, we realized as the night went on. The red wine we had, can't remember the name, was excellent. We paired it with a wonderful olive and hummus dish. It came with some yummy rosemary crackers for the hummus. The vibe and ambiance were wonderful. Even the music selection, mostly instrumental, was perfect. It was such a great evening for us at Lola's. We'll be back for certain.

We stayed at the resort and noticed Lola was only a short walk down the road, so we figured we'd check it out, and I am SO glad we did. Immediately from walking in, we felt incredibly welcomed by the owner, Anna, who seriously made us feel like we were old friends. She sat with us and walked us through her wine list, which was excellent and had tons of variety for every kind of drinker. I'm usually a light white wine fan, while my boyfriend tends to enjoy reds, and Anna even had a recommendation for a very light and refreshing red varietal that was somewhere in the middle for us both. As for the ambience, I seriously don't think this place could be any cuter. The charcuterie board was also 12/10 with each element being very high quality, fresh, and flavorful, not to mention affordable, too! We ended up chatting with regulars and Anna for several hours as we were having the BEST time. I wish we could bring this place back to SD with us that's how much we loved it! We will absolutely be back here next time we are in CDA, but go give this place all of your love & support in the mean time!! :)

An unforgettable dining experience in Coeur d'Alene…read more As someone who spent over 15 years working in fine dining, I don't hand out five-star reviews lightly. From the moment I sat down on the patio at Midtown Bluebird, I knew this place was something special. The atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for on a beautiful Idaho evening, relaxed, welcoming, and effortlessly comfortable. I ended up chatting with the couple seated next to me for over 30 minutes, which says a lot about the kind of place this is. Great food has a way of bringing people together. I started with the house-pickled vegetable flight, and it absolutely stole the show. The presentation was beautiful, but what impressed me even more was hearing the story behind it. Our server explained how the vegetables are pickled in the cellar downstairs, and you could immediately tell this wasn't just another appetizer, it was something crafted with pride and intention. Every vegetable had its own unique flavor profile. If you're someone who loves pickles or even finds yourself sipping pickle juice after opening a jar, this is a must-order. It was one of the most memorable appetizers I've had in a very long time. I also ordered the seasonal salad, featuring beets, fingerling potatoes, pickled onions, cheese, and a light vinaigrette. It was incredibly fresh, balanced, and vibrant. Every bite showcased the quality of the ingredients, and it paired beautifully with the rest of the meal. It's the kind of salad that reminds you seasonal dishes can be every bit as memorable as the entrée. The warm focaccia with herbed butter was simple perfection. Crisp on the outside, soft and airy inside, and impossible to stop eating. For dinner, I ordered the chef's special, flat iron steak with chimichurri, asparagus, and grains. The steak was cooked beautifully with a perfect char, the chimichurri was bright and fresh without overpowering the meat, and every component on the plate felt intentional. Nothing was there just to fill space, it all belonged. To top it off, I enjoyed a couple of outstanding local Idaho beers on tap. The selection was excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. What really elevates Midtown Bluebird, though, is the hospitality. The service was knowledgeable, genuine, and passionate. You can tell the staff believes in what they're serving, and that enthusiasm makes the experience even better. Owner-operated restaurants like this are becoming harder to find, and they're worth supporting. This isn't a place trying to chase trends, it's a restaurant focused on craftsmanship, quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and creating an experience you'll remember long after you've left. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in Coeur d'Alene. Midtown Bluebird isn't just a great meal, it's the kind of restaurant that reminds you why dining out can still feel special. Highly, highly recommended.

I said several times I don't eat butter so didn't wash Nashville, she said oh it's a dry rub then when I saw another plate arrive said oh no is that how it comes can we please not put mayonnaise on top of mine for the miso honey. Anyway my plate arrive arrived covered in butter and cheese. Who puts cheese on fries without saying so? So I obviously could not eat any of it. I didn't bother to have them remake it and paid for an un-edible meal but asked her what could I have done differently she said tell us about your allergies and I was like, well I did. I told you I don't eat butter and the cornbread still arrived with the biggest slab of butter I've ever seen. Like wtf? Disappointing. But I will say the pickled vegetables were amazing! 10/10

My husband and I came here for lunch on a weekday afternoon after searching high & low for a restaurant that serves organic produce and healthy options. He has an auto-immune condition, and the menu is great for individuals looking for a place to support an anti-inflammatory diet. This is not a place for those who consider themselves big carnivores, but it is good for those who are vegetarian or vegan. Expanding their selection could make it more palatable for all, but for now I think the clientele who will embrace and enjoy the food here is limited. It might have been a bad day in the kitchen, but our food was so salty it was not edible. The food looked fantastic, colorful and full of vegetables - but it didn't taste good. We would go back because the menu is promising, but I would lean toward ordering moderate / minimal seasoning. We took the food to go, and it was much better once we mixed it with eggs and other veggies to dilute the amount of salt. I wish they would incorporate meat into the menu, such as organic free-range beef or chicken- but, that's less of a complaint and more feedback to the restaurant on how they may be able to broaden their audience. I don't recommend Plant Gossip for large groups or gatherings with varying tastes, it is not one of those places where everyone can find something they like on the menu. Other than our very salty meal, service was very friendly and relatively quick. The location is very walkable from DT CDA and the place has a nice vibe. If you're looking for healthy, plant-based options - this is the spot!

The inside decor is dark with low lighting giving it a cozy , romantic , upscale feel. Unique decor and decorated cool. The first thing you see when you walk in is a glass floor that you can walk on and can see a table of people Dining in the basement. It's pretty cool. Our server was extremely attentive. Every time he walked by he would check our drinks or ask us if we needed anything... top notch ! The food - it's on the pricier side but worth the experience. We started off with the baked Brie and the blue cheese wedge. The baked Brie was unique. The Brie was wrapped in a house made phyllo dough and covered in caramel sauce. Accompanied by Some fruit and bread. Unique and well executed. The wedge was wonderful. Very tasty house made blue cheese dressing and bacon (I think adding some tomato or onion would have broken up the saltiness) but was still great tasting We ordered the sweet pork chop. I was impressed how moist and tender they cooked the pork.. I have to admit that it was too sweet. Even for me, who has a crazy sweet tooth. It was a unique pairing, but left no room for savory. We also ordered the seafood fettuccini. I believe they house make their pasta and Alfredo sauce. It didn't come with a ton of seafood (a couple large prawns and a few bacon wrapped scallops) but hit the spot. Their house bread they serve with your meal is the highlight! A little loaf of breast drenched in a garlic butter sauce! I'm salivating just thinking about it! I' have to admit, I have high expectations, and this place is probably the better of the many other local eateries I've tried .
