We love coming here during happy hour for their wine! There are so many options to choose from--whether it's reds, whites, rose..etc. We love sitting outside for the wonderful vibes and atmosphere!! I don't usually leave reviews, especially bad reviews. This experience stood out so much that I felt the need to. I've been going to this location for years and have watched it go more downhill with each visit. The food has always been incredible, but the service has gotten so bad that we decided go elsewhere today. The female hostess working at 2pm today was just so blatantly rude that we felt uncomfortable even being there. I remember the service here used to be amazing! I'm not really sure what happened over the years, but I've also noticed it isn't as busy as it used to be so maybe that's why because the food is still great. read more

We have been in the area for five days and have eaten at four great restaurants. Since this was our last day we voted on which one we wanted to go back to and we all chose Wine World. Just let me say that our service was great and pizza was great , however, because we had a party of six we were unable to sit under an umbrella, because that table had been reserved. Because of the sun and the heat it did not make our experience very pleasant. They need to have more tables that are in the shade. read more

We called ahead due to a member of our party having special needs. I do have to give them a thumbs up for their accommodating his needs. Thank you for that. Hubby ordered the pastrami sandwich and reported that both the sandwich and the chips were delicious. There don't seem to be many choices on the menu if one eats gluten free, so I chose chicken salad on lettuce. Well, I do not like going home from a restaurant looking for a snack because I am hungry, do you? I was so hungry when I got home. Spent lunch with one of my daughters sitting out side wit a cool Gulf Breeze. Wine world is always great, as a local I frequent this restaurant often and have never had a bad meal. I have been buying nice cheese for over a decade and I have never come across worst customer service or a worse cheesemonger in my life. I approached the cheesemonger asking for help making selections and he said he was too busy and that no one could help me. Hello sir, I am trying to give you my business! I then asked if he could give me a sample of a five year aged Gouda so I could compare it to a similar cheese they had in stock so I could decide which one to buy. He said they don't sample that cheese because it is their most expensive one. A small sample of cheese would cost so little compared to the amount they could have made by letting me try the cheese and hopefully purchase it. I'm never going back again. read more

We have dined/happy hour'd here numerous times while visiting the area. Normally the outdoor seating area and the store/deli staff are very friendly and all is pleasant. The food menu is limited but moderately priced and the extended happy hour is pleasant and fun. Not so this time. We arrived as a party of five after 6:00 on Sunday before New Years and met at the bar to wait for a table. The bar was busy, many people standing, and only one bartender working. After about a 15 minute wait we were greeted with "What do you want?". Two of our group ordered a carafe of bubbly to share. We watched as the bartender opened a bottle and then poured into the carafe, apparently the bubbles made it hard to be sure of the exact amount poured (all the glasses/carafes have little stars on the side so they can get the pour exact) so she got another carafe and poured the bubbly back and forth between the two several times apparently trying to eliminate the bubbles so she could measure. Eventually she delivered the carafe and poured two glasses, making it six or seven pours between the bottle and glass. Interesting if you like flat bubbly. Then we watched a girl working the outside come in to pour 4 glasses of white wine, which took over five minutes because she kept having to stoop down to get eye level with the stars and make sure they were all exact. Not sure how they can save any money by wasting the employees time on a busy evening instead of just getting the customers served and keeping them happy. On this night there was also a significant water leak dripping on the bar. First they put down some towels, which quickly were soaked. Then they put an empty pitcher below it and we watched it become over half full of brown water before we finished our glass of wine. The ceiling tile the leak was dripping thru was rapidly becoming more and more soaked and hung lower and lower toward the bar. Our table became available and we decided to decline and walked to Seaside for dinner. I think we are done with this restaurant, which is a little sad since there are so few options to choose from in Watercolor. read more

Let me start off by saying the food and wine was amazing. We ordered a cheese board and it was one of the best I've had. The staff on the other hand is a mess. They don't care about customers, more interested in themselves and what they have going on tonight. From the point we sat down to when we got our glass of wine was 45 minutes. Stars sum it up nicely, "A-OK" Food: The food is bland and over priced. The two times I have been to Wine World someone in the party has had their food come out cold. One person in our group ordered the special for the evening. Food came out cold and overall he was not a fan. The appetizers we ordered were some of the best part. The cheese plate was pretty decent for the price. The hummus was great and even came with something other than just plain ole pita bread. Came with carrots and zucchini as well. Only problem is limit of one flavor per night. The sesame seared tuna was way over cooked and quite chewy. I have had fish one night and pizza on the other. The pizza the most recent time was burnt on half as if their oven is not heating evenly anymore. Wine: Pretty decent selection. The second most expensive bottle of Pinot Noir had a screw top which I thought was quite odd. The bottle my wife ordered of Pinot Grigio was decently priced for a restaurant server. Server: As for our server on the most recent visit. She had no clue what was going on. Everything we asked about she said "ummm......we did have it let me go check." As she ran off to check and come back almost always the answer was NO. Whether it was beer, wine, hummus, etc. Service was slow but that very well could have been because they were fairly busy. Atmosphere: It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the night air coming off the beach. Of course the view is nothing spectacular and there is a lot of traffic on the main road near by. Both of these things the restaurant can't really change but it is always good to know what you are getting into. read more
