This place is AWESOME. We drove 40 mins to get here and it was very worth it. I loved seeing the patio area (& there's even a comfortable beer garden out back, with games like cornhole and Jenga!) The inside is clean and inviting. They are very welcome to dogs and support animal welfare organizations it looks like! We of course had to have two flights - one beer, one wine. I can't completely recall my order - the wines I remember trying were blackberry, raspberry, watermelon, and the "muscles and tattoos(?)." Every single one was amazing. I personally adored the blackberry, and my partner - who usually is not a huge wine fan at all - adored the watermelon wine. My palate isn't really built for beer, so three of the four samples we had were just good to me. There were subtle differences in the hoppiness which I really liked for dimension. There is one that stood out which was a pickle beer... if you tried the Best Maid beer and you were traumatized by how gross it is, please try this beer to recover. It is absolutely incredible. We had to buy a 4-pack to go. Speaking of which! There's also the option to take a "batch" of something you enjoyed home. It is a touch expensive, but for good reason, and if I lived closer I probably would have done that with the blackberry wine! Also, the bartender was incredible. I didn't get his name but whoever was there on the 10th around 7pm, you're super cool! Debbie, Dan and Ty were absolutely awesome! They took really good care of us, did a fantastic job explaining the different wines, beers and tasting process to us. They were moving nonstop to make sure all customers were served but always took time to answer any questions we had. The flavored beer was actually pretty good and I'm not a beer drinker at all . We had such a great time at this little place yesterday and enjoyed every drop of our wine flights. My daughter had been here before and even brought back a couple of bottles of wine in the past so we were anxious to see and try other new items. We both did a flight with four wines for $5 is a real bargain. Same thing happens when you order a flight on the beer side of the house and that you get four beers for $5. truly a great price when most breweries and wineries are charging $15 or so for the same amount of wine. Winery and Brewery! This place is awesome- they make a selection of about 6 different beers, and a buuunch of different wines! You can check out their brewing equipment by the front door- it looks professional and spotless! The staff was extremely helpful with making sure we were served up and happy! I went for a pint of the coffee stout and a flight of the heffeweizen, a blood orange beer, an IPA, and more coffee stout. The beers were delicious, and they have a great patio out front. The whole place seems dog friendly, and there's even a biergarten out in the back, set with picnic tables and music. Sometimes, they have food trucks, which makes the deal even sweeter. There's plenty of seating indoors, and they also sell growlers and wine to go. They've got it all! I was also pleased to see that they have a collection going to restore the Blue Crab! Extremely well run brewery and winery! Some friends and I went yesterday and had a magnificent time. Tried every single one of their beers and a number of their wines. As far as wine, the 1007 wine and the Chilean Malbec were my favorites as well. Pro tip: if anyone in your party doesn't drink but still wants to hang out, the manager made a killer virgin frozen Pina colada. My wife absolutely loved it! They ship their wines anywhere as well so definitely check out their website and support this great winery/brewery. Staff was super nice as well. It needs to be more clear because people were parking everywhere and we had so much trouble parking and leaving (probably because we were one of very few people who parked within the lines). What a great experience with my family! This place had it all... It had a very personable and wonderful wine and flight selections. The people that run the place is very friendly and enjoyable. We enjoyed great conversation and responsibly priced ample tastings. We spent an hour making conversation with the owner and their wonderful employee while enjoying some wine. Loved the peachie chardonnay and coffee port! Friendly staff and only $8 for 4 tastings and the glass. They even have an selection you can purchase items that are related to Wine... This place is in Downtown Rockport. I came in on a Wednesday at about 5pm. It's quiet now but I can guarantee you that it's noisy later. It closes at 7 pm today. Lots of people love wine and enjoy that break in the day when they're off work and can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The thing about this place is that the wine is made here on the premises. I ordered the "sampler" which included my choice of four wines and a glass with a relief etching on the glass about Winery On The Bay. I tried Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Calypso Bianco And Watermelon White Merlot. The Sauvignon Blanc was very light, sweet and warmed me up fast. Gewurztraminer was grapey, strong with tannins or dry. It bites. Calypso Bianco was a white wine, smelled of mango and SUPERB! It was sooo sweetly smooth! Lastly, Watermelon White Merlot was rose and smelled of watermelons. I chose a glass of the watermelon wine to sit with here. People came in and sat with their wine choice in a very relaxing cosy environment. I joined their wine "club," which offers discounted prices on your favorite wine choices. You can commit to 4, 6, or 12 bottles each year. Their selection is good, contemporary and comparable to HEB or Walmart, and Spanky's Liquor too. They are quite serious about the no one under 18 allowed on premise - we showed up with a sleeping baby thinking we would like to enjoy a glass of wine and were told we could get something to go. The place wasn't busy at all, except for a table full of grandmas that doted on the baby when we walked in. I can understand not wanting children running around but I've never been to a brewery or winery so inhospitable towards people trying to enjoy a quiet night out and a glass of wine. read more

The lady that helped us was so nice and friendly, but their wine tasted awful. I learned after googling it that they are probably experiencing volatile acidity meaning they aren't making their wine properly so it causes it to smell and taste like nail polish remover. A few of their wines tasted like this. The rest of the wines just didn't taste good at all which sucks because it was the only wine tasting room in the area. We ordered a cheese and crackers plate and were given a block of cheese, box of crakers and a dull knife. There were several errors on our check and the staff visited our table only once to take our initial order. Would not recommend going here unless your the type of person who likes bad service!! I never ever write reviews but I'm so upset with this place. First off, we had a small get together for a 40th bday party. I called on Monday spoke to a lady, who I later found out was the owner, and told her I was having a small get together there for a bday party ask if kids could come and she said as long as they sat outside. She also said that we had to purchase food. I was ok with all of this. So I then asked her if I could make a reservation and she said no first come first serve. Great! Then callled again on Thursday spoke to a man asked if we could bring a cake in and have them hold it inside until we were ready to eat it, he said yes as long as we don't use the refrigerator since they have limited space I'm ok with that too. Arrive Sat and got the biggest attitude from the whole entire staff. Owner was mad and said I never called! Yes I did and spoke with her and she said no reservations. Said had to keep cake outside after I was told I could keep inside or else I would not of brought it. She was upset because of COVId restrictions. Which I understand we had a total of 8 adults and 3 kids sitting 6 to a table so we planned on following guidelines but yet the owner herself did not have a mask on while telling us about the rules and she later put one on. We ordered cheese plates got it brought out in boxes and cheese wrapped up for us to cut ourselves but yet saw them bring same platter out to someone else all cut up and prepared. The fact is I called and they made me out to a liar in front of my family when they were the liars. We should of left but birthday girl wanted to stay and so we spent way over $200+ that day between all of us. But will never happen again. read more

I could not be any happier that my mother and I stumbled upon this place during our trip to Rockport! Being from Fredericksburg which some consider the "New Napa Valley," I basically consider myself semi wine savvy (lol) but the owners down here really have something special. From the unique looking building, large wine selections, outside patio, and fun wine accessories, they've thought of it all. Best part about this place is the PRICES - $5 for four tastings AND a cute souvenir glass. That is a crazy good deal, especially if you've ever been wine tasting in Fredericksburg where 4 tastings costs you anywhere from $12-15. Now to the product - I liked all the wines I tried. Granted I really, really like wine...but I especially liked their Pinot Nior and crazily enough, the Rasberry White Zinfindel (of which I bought a bottle). Their label is also not mistakable - the blue crab is so cute and distinctive! The customer service we received from Debbie, the owner, was just awesome. She was so sweet, accommodating, informative, and overall made our tasting a very pleasant experience :) I knocked off a star for still being "in progress". I did not like that the bar, or even one side of the bar, did not have stools. I was really hoping to get off my feet while wine sampling and when it is just you, your mom and the owner, there really is no point in getting served at a table. Therefore, if some (tall) stools are added, it would make a world of difference! Being opened for 4+ months I would expect the place to look a little more polished...but in the end I'll be back and would love to go check out their location in Gruene!! read more

First of all great prices. You can't get better than $3 for 4 for wine tasting. It's a cute and comfy spot. The only thing is the lady that served us was a bit too busy to small talk. We are new to the area and wanted to know the to go spots but they really didn't get to know the customer. However they are very friendly. I understand they get busy but it wouldn't hurt to know their customer on a more 1x1 basis. Not everyone is a tourist. I do recommend you come here for a nice wine tasting. I'm so sad I haven't come here sooner. We come to rockport all the time and never stopped in. I like fruity wines and they have a plethora to choose from. I tried: peach Chardonnay, watermelon white merlot, blueberry Shiraz, cran-apple Chardonnay, strawberry Riesling, pomegranate Zinfandel, orange sangria. They have regular white and reds too. If u don't want the glass the tasting costs $3 for 4 tastings and an additional $1 per extra tasting (which you will want to do). They were all good! My husband-who doesn't even drink wine- liked the pomegranate the best. I opted to sign up for the wine club. They will ship 4 bottles every 2 mo for $36 plus the shipping (fruit infused selection). This is WAY cheaper than the wine club from fredericksburg that I pay over $100 for. And you get free wine tastings. When it came time for me to pay I paid for: the 4 bottles of wine with the membership $36, 2 extra bottles of wine $10.95 each (discounted 15% with membership). The first 4 tastings ended up being free! And I still can go back this month for more free tastings! The wine club is your best bet in my opinion. I will be back for sure. We came in without a mask because everyone in the place was not wearing one including all the staff. When asked to put on a mask we complied. I was just there Saturday October 3, celebrating my daughters 40th Birthday. my oldest daughter had called twice, once to verify our group 11 including 3 children and was told fine but had to sit outside, second to see about bringing a Birthday cake she was told yes but they could only hold it inside just not in the refrigerator (83 degrees, sunny). When we got there they denied that she had called, (basically calling her a liar). We decided to stay since we weren't sure where else to go. The service was bad and then they tried to overcharge us, which they corrected when we brought it to there attention, including $2.00 to fill up a sippy cup for my grandson.
