I was pleasantly surprised and plan to make this a recurring stop whenever I'm in the area. I was helped by Joseph. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable with all the selections. A basic tasting was only $20 and well worth it. The tasting areas a very quaint and comfy, plus there is outside seating as well. As for the wine, it was very good. My expectations were low, but Nashoba definitely impressed me. Even bought a couple of bottles to bring home. If you got the time, and feel like doing a tasting away from the normal wine regions, I strongly recommend Nashoba Wines.

I'm guessing wine tastings are mainly what the vineyard offers, but it would've been nice to have the choice explained first. This is where my 2/5 stars comes in. They only had one person serving about 12 tables. My party was only a group of 2, but there were other tables with groups as large as 9 people. It literally took 25 minutes to receive my second pour, and the only reason we got it was because I had to remind the staff. I think having at least two people pouring wine would make the experience much smoother. Upon arrival, they also have a small parking area for non-reserved parking. Luckily, we were able to find a close spot. As for the restroom, personally I'm not a fan of unisex bathrooms, and they also did not have seat covers available. Overall, the staff was friendly, but the service and organization could definitely be improved. Apart from all this, I have visited multiple wineries in Livermore, which is closer to the Bay Area, and their wine bottles are much cheaper. Their wine tasting options are also more affordable. This is just my personal experience and opinion overall I don't think I would consider coming back.

The tragic backstory of the grapes? The world may never know, as tasting notes were apparently classified information. The tasting is free if you buy a bottle, which is a brilliant strategy. By the end, you're so desperate for a label with information on it, you'll happily pay. It's the perfect spot to bring the family, enjoy the scene, and have a glass of... well, something red. This dude is as hospitable as can be. He let me know about all of the upcoming releases they are getting and so much more. He told me about this " new era" store pick that he had. I was a little skeptical because it was a $100 bottle, but Gippy reassured me that if I didnt like it he would refund me my money. Well after having a sip. He was right. Its phenomenal. I was also able to pick up a brand new and highly sought after Elijah Craig that not many stores in California have received yet. The selection at the store is great, the prices are solid, and the customer service is top tier! Lastly, to top it off Gippy threw in a free glass to enjoy this delicious whiskey in.
