We were seated immediately, and they brought out cold water right away. Here is the breakdown of what we tried: Kimchi Soup: The absolute star of the show. I haven't been to Korea, but I order kimchi jigae at almost every Korean restaurant I visit, and this is hands down the best I've ever had. Unlike many places that only serve massive family-style portions, this came as a perfect individual size in a piping-hot stone bowl. I was comfortably full halfway through, but I couldn't stop until the bowl was empty. Don Katsu: We've had pork katsu plenty of times, but never served like this with a blanket of super creamy, rich melted cheese on top. Highly recommend. Fried Dumplings: My two-year-old is in a strict "if it's not a lollipop, I hate it" phase, so even though we ordered them for her she refused to touch them, but my husband happily scarfed them down in minutes. I thought they were a solid, classic dumpling. The noodles didn't add much in my opinion, but I can see this being a popular choice! We also requested extra spicy and the chef surely delivered. I usually love bulgolgi.
