Fast service..The wings were absolutely amazing, and the onion rings were some of the best onion rings I've ever had! The staff was also polite and friendly. I highly recommend Wings and Rings..I will be back!

Love the wings and they are smaller but they are real wings. The owner was very kind and let me try the flavor before I got it.

The squash blossom fritters had this delightful lemon aioli, with light, battered, fried squash blossoms and sprinkled with red peppercorns and sage. I loved this dish. The Sage Advice drink with gin, pineapple juice, lemon, sage, sparkling water I think... it all just works so well! I could have enjoyed many of these! The grilled fish tacos were good, but the tortillas were a little stiff, so that made it difficult to eat. I ended up eating only one of the tortillas, instead of both of them (2 per taco). The fish seemed a little sparse. I'd rather have more fish on 2 tacos, than less fish on 3 tacos. The pickled onions were good. I got the green sauce on the side. It was a bit spicy so glad I did. I did like it, but the heat built the more I ate. When I return, I'll try something else. I may have enjoyed it more fried instead of grilled. The hominy stew with bison was fabulous! I loved the meat. I loved the soup. It was so flavorful. The food and everything about this place is amazing.

To eat I tried the elote bruschetta and the rabbit tamales Both were tasty but had a little kick to them especially this green sauce on the tamales and the elote bruschetta was different. It was very quiet but the food was out quick . Also had these crispy smashed potato's they didn't come out how I thought they would but they were super good and helped with the spiciness

Our spirits rose when we were told Jack Rabbit could take us in about 5 minutes. We had an uneven dining experience from there. Bottom line: 1 star for service but 4 stars for delicious food. The first service problem was my wife's iced tea order. When our server brought our table's drinks, she explained that they were brewing more iced tea. No iced tea arrived by the time our bread appetizer came to the table, bao my wife ordered a soda instead. The iced tea finally arrived just before our check. The next service problem was with a mixed up order. Our server brought out two plates and set the smash burger in front the person in our party who ordered it. He took a bite and said it tasted great. Then our server came back with a concerned look on her face and admitted to bringing the burger to the wrong table. Oops! Since the diner in our party had already taken a bite, he kept his burger and fries. The third problem was with another order. One person in our party ordered the Jack Rabbit salad. The menu description included rotisserie chicken, but there was very little chicken in the salad that came to the table. The person who ordered it informed our server and she took it back to ask the chef about it. When our server came back, she had no fixed salad. The person who ordered the salad was frustrated and asked for the salad to go since the rest of us were finished with our meals but that time. As mentioned above all of our food was delicious. My beef short rib and sides were out of this world. The beef was tender and filled with umami. The presentation was stunning with the long bone sticking out. The carrots were crisp tender and included both orange and purple carrots. My favorite side was the smashed potatoes. I expected mashed potatoes, but I was more than pleased with these smashed potatoes. They appeared to be cooked by smashing baby potatoes into a skillet with plenty of butter or oil. Some bites were crispy from contact with the skillet. Other bites were more creamy because they had more potato flesh in them. I would gladly eat these potatoes again. The menu has other items I might try on a future visit, but given our poor service and the higher than average menu prices, this fits better as special occasion dining for my family. We can't afford a final bill of $100 for the 4 of us on a regular basis.

This could have been handled so differently each time. We have been there twice since and this is what has happened. 1 time we walked in without reservation there were just 2 of us and several seats available including bar top. We were told we could not eat because we did not have reservations. We asked if we could possibly take a bar top or outside the waitress said no. This time we had a reservation and arrived 30 mins early when we got there we gave them our name and the waitress said it would be 45 mins. We asked if we could possibly get seated early since we were there (9:30 am) without looking at the schedule or the room she replied "No 45 mins". We turned and left. We had not been gone 10 mins and got a text saying our table was ready. I canceled the reservation. We ate at one of the hotels downtown and it was lovely. I did book this reservation a day early. Will not be booking again. Very disappointed.

Right away, the vibe stands out--lots of cool memorabilia that gives the diner a nostalgic, laid-back feel. We were seated quickly and got our drinks without any delay, which is always a plus. I went with the country ham steak, eggs over easy, hash browns, and rye toast. Overall, it was a solid breakfast. The eggs were cooked just right, and the hash browns had good flavor, though they weren't quite as crispy as I had requested. The ham steak, unfortunately, leaned a bit on the dry side, which took it down a notch. My wife ordered the classic combo--bacon, eggs, hash browns, plus a biscuit with gravy. She was happy with her meal, and it checked the boxes for a traditional diner breakfast. In the end, it's a decent spot for breakfast with a great atmosphere, but nothing that really stood out or wowed us. It feels a little upscale but not in a way that makes you feel underdressed if you show up in jeans. The staff was super sweet, and our server made great recommendations. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was SO good. The portion was huge, and the gravy was chef's kiss. Also, can we talk about the bread for a second? Because I would genuinely go back just for that. I kept telling myself "one more piece" and then suddenly half the basket was gone. The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wait for our food felt a little longer than expected. Nothing crazy, but by the time it arrived, we were definitely checking the kitchen door every few minutes lol. Other than that, everything was great. The food was comforting, the atmosphere was nice, and it felt like one of those places that's perfect for catching up with friends or taking your parents when they're in town. Definitely adding this to my list of favorite OKC spots. Next mission: trying the brunch because everyone keeps talking about it.
