The most reliable and consistent sandwich chain still out there doing its thing. Nervous when I heard the news Blackstone was buying them and first time back since I found out. This place is basically the mafia of yum-town. You have the choice of that freezer burn tasting bread place sponsored by the prison guy. They did sell me to try them again after saying they revamped the menu, but double the cheese and double the price isn't the revamp they thought it was. You have the, Sniff Us and eject all the contents of the sandwich as soon as you squeeze the bread place. Also took them 5 years to figure out how to put a pickle on it or not hand you packets if you wanted regular mustard. But I digress. Love Jersey Mike's. Always great, always consistent and always a good value for the quality. This visit was probably the friendliest and thoughtful experience I have had. Guy running the scene today was a standout as far as interested in delivering a quality customer visit. I forgot to take a pic of the food but uhhh... if you have had their food before it always looks the same and by that I mean it's a great sandwich. I cannot thank the assistant manager on shift today at 11:30, Kevin I believe, enough!! It was quite loud so was hard to hear his name. I've placed two large catering order this week and he and his team knocked it out of the park. I consistently get an awesome product every time I order. Definitely the best location in the metro. Jimmy John's offers free smells. Jersey Mike's, to my knowledge, does not. If you don't want to run the risk of getting charged for inhaling forcefully/audibly/repeatedly, I would probably suggest hitting up Jimmy John's instead, despite having two first names. Never trust a person with two first names: that's what my father used to say. Or, at least I imagine that's what my father would have said if he was ever around. Alas, that's a story for another time, I won't bore you with the details. It all started when I was around 26 years old. Obviously I was too young at that point to remember any specific details. For most of my young adulthood, mother insisted father left because he never wanted me in the first place, and being the young dumb young adult I was, I believed her. I've had Jersey Mike's before, and the food was decent for a quick lunch..This was the first time at this location.. There layout was different, than other Jersey Mike establishments..I Came in, and walked up to the counter, the female taking my order seemed like she was in a rush or something.. I told her I wanted a chicken philly, she asked me what size, reg or large? I asked her what size was the reg? She seemed annoyed and told me 7.5 inches ?!?! I told her I'll take the reg she asked if it was for here or to go? I told her for here..Then she just turned around and started making the sandwich (how rude). I was just standing there, until the cashier said for me to come down to this end.. I proceeded, and he asked if I wanted a combo? I said yes, and paid.. I ask him, when do I let her know what toppings? He says after its finished she will ask you.. I said ok.. I fix my drink, and get my chips.. the next thing I know, one of the employees is handing me my food wrapped up.. I walked back to the counter to the female who seemed to be in a rush, and told her I wanted toppings on my sandwich! She abruptly took my sandwich, unwrapped it with anger and asked me what I wanted? I told her mayo (she slopped it on), I said lettuce (she barely put any on).. I didn't feel like dealing with this lady, anymore.. She wrapped it back up and handed it to me.. The food was bland, no flavor what so ever and she didn't even add the peppers or onions to my sandwich!! Usually It's ok, for a quick lunch..Today's experience was HORRIBLE.. Pretty much ended up just being something to put in your stomach.. I will NOT return to this location!! I will return to another location, for a quick lunch and a more friendly staff!! read more

I gave 2 stars because sandwich was somewhat decent. A lot to pay for very little meat & cheese compared to mile high veggies & so soaked in oil & vinegar, the bread fell apart! My biggest beef is with the service. Was late afternoon on a Friday so no dinner rush yet. In fact, I was only customer at that time. Walked in to blasting music & no greeting. I wasn't asked for my order, I just had to walk up to counter & give it. Help was rude & treated me like an annoyance instead of their reason for being there! I will go back to Jimmy John's where people are friendly & service is great. This is a good location for JM never super busy and they get your orders correct almost every time if not they correct it ASAP. Closest thing to a real cheesteak around here says my Native New Jersey friend. Just ask for no green peppers and you have it! As peppers on a cheese steak in Jersey makes it a pepper steak. read more

Got the Turkey and provolone. Tasty but not much meat and cheese. Mostly lettuce. Priced too high for what I got - bread and lettuce mostly. That was almost $8 for a half a sub. People with large orders that didn't order in advance held up the line but the staff was friendly and working very hard to make all of them. The guys tonight were not up to par. 1st when my wife called the fella was very rude. 2nd they destroyed myself sandwich ( i should have inspected before I drove off.) So I drive back, and they somewhat fix it. Still didn't know how to make the sandwich. Instead he puts the ranch and hot sauce on the bread. So he wouldn't get his grill dirty. The food is fine. The staff is terrible. They grunt and point rather than speak. The tables are all dirty and so is the floor. Since there are only five customers here, it shouldn't be this dirty. The music is awful and would probably appeal only appeal to someone under the age of twenty. Unfortunately, all of the customers are at least forty, so we're clearing out of here as fast as we can.
