    Battered Corn Nuggets Traditional Wings

The atmosphere was really great, we ordered the corn nuggets and the mardi gras / buffalo wings. Very meaty, very tender, flavorful, and all around a great wing. 8.5/10

Wing Doozy has become our go-to wing place. The boneless wings and chicken strips are so tender and juicy and the breading is light. Everything is always fresh. Makes it impossible to go to chain wing places anymore. Love the Jimmy seasoning for fries (parmesan, pepper, a little heat) and doozy sauce. My husband's favorite sauce is the spicy garlic parm. Might be a tiny bit pricier than other wing places but totally worth it for the quality.

I discovered this place on Google maps when looking for a certain grocery store that sold what I wanted. As I was looking at the map, I noticed Wing Doozy. I love wings, so I decided lunch here was in order. I was greeted warmly, and they were quick to be ready for my order. Which I delayed by being indecisive, lol. After I placed my order, the employee told me about 10-15 minutes. I sat down at a table and waited. The food was brought out to me by two employees, instead of my being called up to retrieve it. I thought this was a nice touch since the place is smallish. I was also asked during my meal how it was, but unlike most restaurants, this gentleman talked to me like he was genuinely interested in my opinion. We chatted for a minute or so, and I finished what I could of my meal ( pretty large portions, so be careful what you order). All in all, it's a really great place for wings! I also highly recommend the onion rings! This place is now added to one of my regular places to eat!

Have come here multiple occasions and they have amazing wings. They serve alcoholic drinks if you're hoping for a buzz during your meal. Ordered two wing combos..the 20 piece traditional and the 6 boneless combo. Side of tatotots to go along with it. Appetizer was more juicy than what it looked like and was delicious dipped in the doozy sauce. All of the wings were moist with the perfect amount of sauce except for the sweet honey BBQ...there was way too much on it and we had to wipe a lot of it off. Drinks you retrieve on your own along with utensils. Overall, one of the best wings in town.

An excellent job at atmoshere. The place feels larger than it is. Very bright. Lots of TVs. I ordered 8 traditional Honey BBQ wings. 8 boneless Asian Ginger wings. A doozy fry and a ranch dipper. The 8 honey bbq were Excellent. The wing was cooked perfectly and the sauce was better than bw3's honey bbq sauce. The 8 boneless asian ginger were good. The meat was cooked perfectly, it's very good quality, and a good size. The sauce was good but not great. That's on me though. I was thinking asian ginger was like asian zing and they aren't close. Zing is chili based while asian ginger is teriyaki based. My fault for not paying attension. On the sauce side they give you plenty of sauce on their wings. The doozy fries were good but nothing special. The service was ok to good. However they are still training so I forgive any problems. Overall 4 1/2 stars. If i find a 2nd sauce to love this may get boosted to 5. I thought it was better than BW3's which is my go to place. Will I be back. Oh heck yeah.

I'm from out of town and the worst part about going here is that I have to travel to have it again. Large portions of everything, great staff, and cooked perfectly. Barely any breading on the wings so you're actually eating delicious food. Staff was so nice, Robert, a cook, checked in on us and was great to talk with. 100% recommend!

Huge chicken tenders! Super moist, and crunchy.

This place is such a cute hidden gem. You go up to the cashier, order, and they deliver to your table. They offer alcoholic slushees, wine & beer as well. I ordered traditional wings (naked, sauces on side), and my fiancé ordered their chicken tender basket. The wings came tossed, and we were in a rush, so we asked to have them taken off the bill. The manager was so friendly. No problem. We shared the chicken tenders, and they were the best. So moist, and the perfect crunch. The manager stopped by a few minutes later apologizing, and asking if we are enjoying our meal (was a pleasant touch!!!). The reason I am giving them 4 stars is because we got 4 different sauces.. lemon pepper, honey bbq, bourbon bbq, and blue cheese. We only liked the honey bbq. The bourbon tasted like it wasn't fully cooked off, the blue cheese was not home made and not my favorite. The lemon pepper tasted like thickened water with lemon pepper seasoning. The service, and the food, especially the fries!! Perfectly salted and peppered :) we will be back! Glad we were able to check this place out.

Boneless wings are sold chunks of chicken. No mysterious meat here.

I was surprised at how long it took for the 2 hosts to greet us - as we were standing directly in front of them. They were talking to one another, and it was probably work related, but to just stand there staring at them for a couple minutes while they ignored us was awkward. When they finally talked to us they weren't very friendly. Anyway, we made our way to the bar and it was full except for 3 seats. I think the bartender waiting on us was new. He seemed like he was pretty overwhelmed/in the weeds. He greeted us quickly and brought us waters when he did, which I appreciated. I ordered a Blackeberry Bourbon Sour and my Mr had Paloma Nuestra. We both enjoyed our drinks they were refreshing and well crafted. For dinner I had a really hard time deciding! I wanted to try so many things! Our bartender said his favorite thing in the menu is the chicken and rice bowl. That was something I was considering and decided to go with that. Excellent recommendation! The chicken was flavorful and so tender. The hot peppers were a nice touch. There was a lot of food too! I couldn't finish it all. Mr had the hanger steak that was served with mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said the risotto was the best he's ever had, and I agree. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and so was the steak. The space is really nice, felt intimate without being overcrowded. We are looking forward to coming back!

What a disappointment, but not nearly as much as our experience at 123 Tavern. We came in at 4:15PM before the Brandi Carlile show needing a table for a party of 8-10. The place was fully booked (but only half full at that time) except the bar (first-come, first-served). Fair enough -- but from the moment we walked up, the manager at the host stand couldn't have cared less. She quoted a two-hour wait, shut down my question about sitting outside with a flat no, and pointed us toward the bar. No sense of customer service at all. Like zero. The three of us who were there took the last open seats at the bar. Then came the real show: one bartender for the entire restaurant AND bar. He ignored us for ten minutes. My wife and friend got their beers quickly -- but my bourbon sat finished at the service station for another seven minutes while I watched the large ice cube melting as it marinated there. When I finally asked where my drink was, I got "I'm working on it." When he did finally bring it, he pushed it across the bar at me -- no apology, no eye contact, his attention on anything but me. I'll be honest about what I can't prove: I've worked in this industry a long time, and the whole thing read like my service got intentionally slow-walked. My drink held back while everyone around me was taken care of. Maybe the front manager said something after our rocky start at the host stand. Maybe they're just all bad at their jobs. I can't tell you which. I can only tell you how obvious it felt from the barstool. Everything after was the same; menus, ordering, closing out, all a slog. I had to hunt down that same manager for our check so we could get to the show, and she was all attitude, zero help. We only escaped because my wife flagged a server who found a another manager. His response to hearing all this? "I'm sorry." Nothing else. No attempt to make it right. For the first time in my life, I left $0 on a $100 tab. I'm a 25%+ tipper. That's how badly this went. Here's the thing, 123 Tavern: if you're going to bill yourself as a place to gather before events, staff the place and train your managers to act like they want customers there. Until then, I'll spend my money somewhere that values it.

Portion was very respectable, meant for a shareable appetizer but it was just me lol. The ricotta is a delicious touch. Then the hangar steak. It's the best steak I can remember having in a long time, and on a relatively inexpensive cut such as a hangar. I just can't express enough how impressed I was with it. And I'm not a sauce with steak type but the aioli just completes it so well. 5/5, and I'm pretty picky. If I come back to Grand Rapids I will visit here at least once.

My first review was a terrible review because they had not learned their tablet system yet. My wife convinced me to come back anyway, and the second time I was hooked on aunt Anna's house. Unfortunately, after attending several years together and eating the finest of foods, my wife passed away in November 2024. I miss her dearly but one day I summoned the nerve to go in there on my own. It was right after my second of five surgeries I've had since November. I walked in and I was just recovering and I felt terrible, but I felt the need to go to church. So I stumbled in slowly and said to the server I just had surgery and I'm in no hurry and yet I'm in a hurry I don't know what I'm in... The servers name was Angie and the rest is history, it turned out. She: had had five surgeries of her own, and she was an empath all the way. Hugged me, made me feel welcome, introduced me to two other awesome servers, and their names are Victoria and another one of my favorites Avery. Avery is the one I call "a very good time." Now some might take exception to that nickname, but Avery loved it. And me and her can do no wrong with each other even though she's 50 years older than me. She not only is a great server, but she's my counselor there. I was having some LUV problems and Avery straightened me out. And if she didn't, Angie would've. And then Victoria is a content developer for Instagram, which I think that's just a normal user of Instagram but she's really cool and I think she didn't liked me at first. I said "Are we ok?" and she looked at me and said YES... so now next time I'm gonna ask for her to serve me because she is the bomb. Now the food is the real draw at Anna's House. Their menu cannot be topped. They have items for everybody from serious meat eaters to prudent young vegan eaters. Having mentioned the surgery during Nov-Apr, my system has sort of reset, and now I crave healthy foods. So the last time I've gone to Anna's, I've gotten Açai Power Bowl, which was great and then an another power bowl, which they have on the menu. You cannot go wrong with either one and on each case I could only eat about 3/4 of it because I just felt filled and satisfied from them. Being an egg, bacon, toast, pancake, kind of guy, this departure from my norm was, well, I never saw it coming. So just to summarize here the four people I know at Anna's house: Angie, the manager of seating and serving; Callie, the general manager, Victoria server level one, and Avery server level zero if there's such a thing... Oh never mind we'll just give her one as as well as Victoria. And if you want entertainment choose Victoria, but if you want care and compassion that would be Avery. A very good time... Lol. So if you're there on a Sunday, you'll probably see me. I'm gonna put a couple of pics down below and I'm sure you're gonna go. Oh that dude well, I'm staying clear that restaurant...
