Stopped in for the first time, had to make my own opinion of these wings. Great place, I like the size and setting, not too big and easy in easy out. Love they serve bourbon and next time I won't be working and will have a glass. Now on to the wings. I had six blackened and six spicy garlic parm both traditional. Both were great and are a significant competitor in town if not the leader of the competition. BWWs has definitely become too commercialized and prices have gone up with their success. Prices aren't any better here but I would rather spend it locally with these wings and the local owners (one of which was in the restaurant and we had a great conversation). Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, and stellar wings! We have tried almost every flavor of wings (we always order the wings extra crispy and extra sauce) and our top two favorite flavors are the Tennessee Bourbon or Mardi Gras with medium heat (which is quite spicy even though we LOVE spicy). The onion rings, Corn appetizer (can't remember the exact name), and chicken tenders meal are all very good as well. Came here when I was up visiting a couple friends a few weeks ago. I ordered the chicken tender basket with the spicy garlic parm sauce. It was delicious! The sauce was fantastic and the chicken had a good crunch to it, but was also moist at the same time. The fries were good too! Didn't need any ketchup or anything. The Bourbon BBQ was a great balance of sweet and low heat, and that Tennessee Heat will make your head sweat. The wings were mediocre! Like the sauces were alright but the chicken was bland! Meaning the skin was cool but once you got to the chicken it tasted like there was no seasoning. The fries were cold and not appetizing. Lastly the friend Mac and cheese bites were hot and good however- you could tell a it needed seasoning too. Once I added it a little salt to it- it was better. I learned about these folks through reviews on EatGR, and knew I had to try them. I ordered the traditional wings with Tennessee Bourbon and BBQ Doozy sauces, onion rings, and battered cauliflower. Due to the pandemic, I ordered online; when I arrived, they brought my order right to my car. Nice! It was all I could do to get home before digging in, it smelled so good! So the first thing I tried was the onion rings, and they did not disappoint. Large, tasty, and crispy! The wings were large, juicy, and yummy. The cauliflower was good, as well. HORRIBLE!!! We went to B-Dubs to begin with but apparently it's the happening spot for the town so we left and googled wing spots and this is what we came up with. Sadly. We were horribly disappointed. Walking In we should've known better because the girl working at the counter didn't greet us and didn't seem to want to be bothered when we asked about different sauces. I'm all about good service, I should've walked out but who follows their first mind when it comes to late night eats?! My cousin asked for her wings to be fried HARD. We got them to go so we wasn't aware that the wings were undercooked and slimy until we made it back to the hotel. Even the handmade fries weren't seasoned well. The ranch had to have been the most watered down dressing I've ever seen. The verity of sauces isn't anything to write home about. I'm sure my 8 year old niece could have made better by mixing store bought buffalo and Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce. We both tossed that MESS and went to sleep.
