Jerry Springer Level Service Mr. Hat on backwards man at about 55 years old doesn't seem to understand how chronological order works. While my wife and I order at the register, he's leaving his work station to take and prepare orders from guests that entered the building after us. So many that it took us exactly 27 minutes from the point of payment to receiving the order. Check this out, my boy. I get that it hurts your ego that in several decades of being an adult, you managed to work your way up to deep dry cook on the Saturday shift. Trying to overcompensate for that by creating your own standard service won't improve your material conditions. You're not too old to develop a marketable skill, improve your place in society and bring that self esteem up a notch. But this??? This Ain't It, Chief.

Great food and efficient service. Make sure to stop by and grab a taste of Grand Rapids history.

This is not fancy for anyone complaining about decor. But the food is pretty good, its made to order there was a selection of raw fish im assuming to buy? Not entirely sure. We ordered catfish nuggets and fries for the kiddos which they enjoyed. My husband ordered a pound of the mahi mahi which was good as well. Its your average fish fry. They do offer seasonings you may add to your food which is nice. Staff was friendly. We would come back of we were in search of fried fish.

It is the worst fish I can imagine. I was shocked. I spent $30+ on catfish steaks and filets. It was garbage. Beware!

We were lucky enough to snag a table in the corner and it was the perfect spot to catch up with my friend. It is seat yourself! Our waitress arrived quickly and we ordered drinks and food. The fried pickles for an appetizer were amazing. Some of the best fried pickles I've had in a while and the ranch was soooo good. Also the portion is huge so we were able to take a lot of home. I had my eye on the mortadella with pistachio cream sandwich from the moment they posted the special on Facebook and it was everything I expected. Sooo yummy and I would eat this everyday for the rest of my life. Super fresh and all the ingredients just paired so nicely. Two Guys Brewing also has a community fridge where they make and put out free meals for those in need and people can come grab some. It's awesome. Can't wait to go back!

We arrived right at 5 pm on a Friday and the place was almost full already! We were surprised but happy for them, and glad to get a nice cozy two-top in a back corner. We were greeted by our awesome server and ordered some food -- two different mortadella sandwiches and an order of fried pickles to start. Neither of us ordered drinks, but I saw some fun-looking cocktails coming over to nearby tables. The fried pickles came out first and they were perfection. I don't usually get this appetizer because I don't like fried pickle spears, but these were thin chips. The ratio of the fried pickle chip vs. spear is way better. And these came with the best runny ranch. It was a huge portion to split between the two of us, so we had lots left over. Our sandwiches came out shortly after and looked amazing. They were super stacked with tons of meat! I really liked the addition of the grainy mustard which helped cut through the fattiness of the meat. My friend liked hers - it had pistachio butter and ricotta (similar to a delicious sandwich I ate at a wine bar in Detroit). Portions are large and it's a cozy, neighborhood spot. They have rotating food features and are always helping out their community with free meals and other philanthropic ventures. Check them out!

This place is an awesome, eclectic, and personable spot with incredible food as well as service…read more The BIzzy Grizzys or whatever they called them were one of my favorite appetizers ever, and I don't typically like things like that. At first I was hesitant because of the price, and it being biscuits, but they made me eat those words and more. It was like a large biscuit muffin top with jalapeño, cheese and honey glaze (I think) and it came with a white cheddar cheese sauce to dip it in that was outrageously delicious. For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything. The guy had some serious skill too. To top it off, we had some pretty killer service from everyone there. From the hostess taking our names, random servers walking around, and our fantastic server (I forget her name but she was blonde and worked upstairs and had a a really great attitude. The expo or food runner dropping our food off anticipated us possibly needing an extra plate and brought one without asking which was super awesome and ended up coming in handy ( I knew my wife wouldn't finish that steak alone) and she brought it without asking and was ready with a smile to get more. I used to be a GM (I hate when people use this saying but...) truly I know how hard it is to find good workers and the folks running it here seem to have it down. I come from a place where you have to drive 100 mi or more for average service. So seeing exceptional service is really almost too good to be true. I'd definitely stop in for a bite. It's worth every penny. We'll be back for dessert, they have seasonal crème brûlées!

I dined at TOG today for a business lunch and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing…read more At the end of our meal, I asked for a to-go box because I had barely touched my food. My guest and I spent most of our lunch talking, and I left with nearly an entire meal. About 20 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my box and immediately called the restaurant to see if it was still there. The young lady who answered the phone asked where I had been seated. I explained that I was at the very first table at the front of the restaurant. Within seconds, she told me there was nothing there. Her tone made it clear that assisting me was not a priority. Given that the hostess stand is located at the back of the restaurant and I was seated at the front, I do not believe there was enough time for her to actually check before dismissing my concern. After I sent an email regarding the situation, the hostess responded that she had walked through the restaurant looking for the box. Based on the timing of our phone conversation, I find that difficult to believe. In her response, she also stated that she checked with the servers after our call had ended, which suggests that no real effort was made while I was on the phone. What is most disappointing is that I am a regular customer. Today, I paid $56.00 for lunch for myself and my business guest. Between a server who was largely absent throughout the meal and the dismissive interaction when I called about my forgotten food, the level of service fell far below what I have come to expect. Everyone has an occasional bad day, but customer service is often defined by how issues are handled after something goes wrong. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I do not plan to return.

I saw a lot of good reviews for it and needed to try it for myself. I would definitely order it again and maybe even try the other flavor, seafood. I ordered the hot stone bibimbap with chicken. I know that beef is traditionally the protein on top. But I loved that they gave chicken as an option. It was delicious. The hot stone dish did its job and made the rice a little crispy. Overall, this was a very good dish. I have had this dish many times and at many different places - this one ranks up there with some of the best. The variety of banchan that came with it made the meal even better. Everything was fresh and flavorful. For dessert, I had to try the fish shaped ice cream with red bean paste. It was definitely something I would eat again. The outside of dessert tasted like an ice cream cone. Inside tasted like a jam with vanilla ice cream. Just what I needed for such a hot day. I would highly recommend this Korean restaurant! There is plenty of parking. There is not a ton of seating inside but it was not too busy when we came.
