Bought some roast duck, roast pork, and bbq pork. Also, some pork chow mein. It was all delicious and large portions. I will definitely be back for more on another day.

I found a gem. Cheap tasty food, large portions. Truly authentic.... That's my style. They ran out of pork and duck at 5pm but I'll be back to try it. The egg custard was too eggy tasting for me. The market had some fresh vegetable and fruit as well as packaged items.

Woooww!! I was looking for a place to jog my nostalgia for bbq and crispy pork but didn't want to make the drive to go to south sac Asian stores. This cute little Asian convenient store had basic Asian cooking supplies and hot food in the back. I'm assume it is a family ran store and I'm so glad I found them. The crispy pork was so juicy, tender, with crunchy skin *chefs kiss*! Will def be going back. They do give you a lot of rice so I would recommend getting a plate with one protein and rice and ordering an extra protein no rice. Service was great and they were so nice!

    Vegetable chow fun $9.95

My lease is expiring soon and I began to explore other options from where I live now in midtown. One of the reasons why I will probably stay put is because I can walk here in less than 5 minutes. The market stocks the essentials I need and for laughs I price checked the stuff I buy like dry egg noodles at 99 Ranch and for the better quality brand I get here, it is cheaper than 99 Ranch. On my visit today I tried the hot food and got pretty good chow fun for $10. Other large rice plates are $10-$11 and are cooked to order

We heard about the roast pork and wanted to try it. Super yummy! Crunchy skin, moist and tender layers of warm pork. Incredibly reasonable with tons of rice and lightly stir fried cabbage. Can't go wrong for $6.95! The char siu rice plate was equally delicious! Super convenient, street parking out front, and pretty good variety of items overall. Pleased with all the items we purchased, thank you!

I've been coming here since I was a kid, although it was under an old name "Wah Mei". I remember always coming here for the Lo Mai Gai. 20 years later I came back again for the Lo Mai Gai and it doesn't miss.

All neck, head, fats, bones and skins, this is supposed to be half a roast duck

Most dry goods here have almost expired or already expired dates, things are old and disgusting, there's much better choice nearby.owner and workers here are very greedy and will try to take advantage of the customers

BBQ roast pork with rice. It comes with vegetables (baby bok choy). Best in Sacramento!

I discovered this tiny Mom and Pop Chinese grocery in downtown Sacramento. They have a tiny prepared hot section in back. Best BBQ roast pork and Siew Yook (roast pork) in Sacramento. Now, my go to place for that. Oh, and small, but fresh selection of vegetables (bok choy, gai lan, etc.)

Since KP International originated as a Korean market there is a huge selection of Korean food and has the most extensive inventory of Korean products. There are multiple security guards throughout the store as a crime deterrent and can call the police if needed. Even the cashiers are overly vigilant. On one occasion I was pushing my cart by the register to look at items arraigned across from the register and I was yelled at that I needed to pay. I explained I was going to the items for sale and the cashier told me I needed to leave my cart next to the register. I left my cart next to the register and she stood next to it and proceeded to stare me down as I went to look at the display with the items. The Tofu Soup from the food court area was average. There was barely any seafood but it tasted good. There was a large amount of kimchi served on the side with a side of rice. The cost was high considering the lack of ingredients in the soup. Ordering on the kiosk was fast and easy. Service was good as the workers were friendly and helpful.

I regularly stop in to pick up treats, drinks, produce like mushrooms and okra, and their poke and hot meal options. Whenever this happens I end up leaving with a lot more items. I appreciate that they carry a wide variety of items including some ingredients and items that are hard to find in the US and even at other Asian grocery stores. I've stopped into many different stores and I feel like Oto's has variety and quality at a great price. But none of those reasons are the real reason I truly love Oto's,let me tell you what I really love.....Late last year I decided I was going to learn how to make my favorite food in the world and that is sushi.I went ham,I got the knives I got the kits,I got the rice maker,I got all the seasonings but what I didn't have was a spot to pick up the highest level of fish that was needed to really make homemade sushi pop and that is where Oto's came in to save the day. Their daily "sushi-grade" tuna and salmon that they sell in the back of the store is so next level-even a novice like myself cannot mess up a homemade sushi meal. They have so much to offer at Oto's,all the different levels of salmon and tuna, depending on your budget but all of it is amazing. I will forever be indebted to Oto's for helping me raise my sushi game at home and making my wife think that I'm just the best sushi maker-when it was always just the high quality fish offered at Oto's that did the work-Thank You Oto's for that. In closing-if you ever find yourself in the Land Park area and want to see what all the hype is about at this incredible spot or maybe you just want to try your hand at some home sushi making,be sure to stop by Oto's Marketplace-it truly is a gem amongst gems. PS....Parking sucks here-no way around that one unless u get lucky or have a handicap placard-don't like the parking.

Normally when you come into an Asian store, the meat/seafood smells can get overwhelming. This was not the case with this location. Food court area looked spacious, bigger than I've seen in other 99 R locations. The bad: None that I can point out. The stupid: I had the 99 Ranch app and showed barcode to cashier to scan. She looked at it and said "tomorrow." I asked why. She just said "Not today, tomorrow." I'm like, we're here now, we don't need to come back tomorrow, we're not understanding. She called for a manager to come up. Manager came up, said the same thing. Very confused, made it a disappointing experience. Not sure if we want to come back to this location, it rubbed us the wrong way and thus, 3 stars. If I could, it would be 2.5 stars instead, but rating system doesn't give option to give half points, lol.

Adj: Incredibly impressive and Excellently Extensive…read more It's been many years since my last review and this is not my usual Asian/Chinese grocery market since SF market opened on South Land Park Dr and is closer and much less crowded. However, I was in the area for lunch the other day and decided to do some shopping here and was blown away by how clean and well-organized it is as well as the comprehensiveness of the store's offerings. At the entrance, my kids were captivated by the little games at the front lobby. Then there's the food court, it looks very yummy and the offerings of roasted chicken, ducks, pork and other meats look very enticing had we not just had a very full lunch, I would've definitely grabbed lunch here. There's also the hot food section w/classic "fast food" Chinese dishes like chow mein, fried rice, potstickers, etc. All of it looked pretty fresh and smelled delicious. A new to me section is the Grab and Go foods. I don't recall those in the past, but perhaps it's been available for awhile. So convenient! There's quite a few different choices to include baos, dumplings, chicken, and duck, and several kinds of other meats, all precooked and just need to be rewarmed to be Ready-to-Eat. Then, we walked to the meat section and it's very extensive, all kinds of beef, pork, poultry, fish, seafoods, of both fresh and frozen varieties. Next, there was the produce section with tons of Asian veggies and fruits, all looked quite fresh. The tofu section along in the cold case of the produce area was big, so many kinds to choose from and 99 Ranch even has their own store brand of tofu now, that's news to me. Finally, the rest of the store was filled with shelf-stabled pantry items from snacks like chips, cookies, crackers, packaged pastries, other candies and sweets, to dry ingredients for cooking like dried fungus, mushrooms, herbs, dried fruits (like dried dates for soups), and lots of sauces in jars. Canned Asian drinks and bags and boxed tea bags and tea powders were also widely available with an incredible selection to choose from. The store itself also houses several individual boutique stores to provide convenient services such as a travel agency, an internet and mobile phone store, a clothing store, a tea and TCM (traditional Chinese Medicine) type herbal store, and several different smaller restaurants (more like fast food cafes). As we finished shopping, we walked past the bakery. It was filled with all the yummy carbs you can imagine from sliced breads to bao's and buns to all kinds of custom and ready-made birthday and other special occasion cakes. Overall, I was really impressed by how much 99 Ranch can stock in their store and the sheer variety they offered of every kind of items. Service was friendly and helpful, staff are all busy stocking or helping customers check out, so mostly it's a self-service store, but if you were looking for something, a staff could be found to point the way. I'm glad I came in and saw all the things 99 Ranch offer now so when I'm looking for something specific I cannot find at SF Market or another grocery store, I'll come here and probably find it.

I cook a lot at home and love when I'm able to find a variety of ingredients. As you walk in they had a variety of items up front and then you enter the fruit and veggie section. The back section has more frozen and refrigerated items including dumplings, meatballs, drinks, meats, and more. The very back has a butcher and seafood, including tanks of live seafood. Near the seafood it smells like a fish-market and the smell kind of permeates through the store but that's what you get with fresh fish.
