Green juice is amazing here. The fresh bread is always my go to bread. I came here for lunch and ordered the matador sandwich and veggie sandwich. Both were delish. I also tried their breakfast burrito and it was so good, definitely will come back.

Today, February 8, 2026 around 1pm we made a trek to Nugget from Leslie's Pool Supplies. Leslie's is located at the other end of the shopping center near the entrance off of Greenhaven. We went there for a hot tub water test and saw Nugget and thought we'd stop in to grab some club soda for our Super Bowl possible gathering. We were already parked so we figured we'd just walk on over. The walk took less then 5 minutes. I was wearing boots with heels on them so it took me a bit longer. The parking lot is vast. They share a lot with the shopping center. In the far back of the shopping center is Pet Co, when we had a dog I'd get some deals there. As I mentioned earlier today's quest was some club soda. We had to walk though more than half the store to find it as we've never been in the store before so we didn't know the layout. We passed by lots of other tempting food items, mostly snaking items on our way to the drinks isle. They had a large selection of Club Soda type beverages. We needed it plain to add to our mixed drinks, so we settled on some Pellegrino, the large size in the plastic bottle. I'm not sure why he choose the one in the plastic bottle, but that's the one he wanted so I grabbed it. It's located on the top shelf and I was barely tall enough to reach it, but I got it. We conferred on what else to get as we may have friends over, but they are on the fence about it as they will be doing in back from the bay. After looking at the cheeses to go with the pita crackers we already had we settled on some garlic hummus. Next it was time to check out. The lines were long today, about 5 deep in each check stand. We were in the chocolate isle. The Dubai Chocolate caught my eye. After looking it up, I found out it's not officially a chocolate from Dubai as I though it was. Instead it's a viral confection featuring a creamy pistachio-tahini filling mixed with crunchy shredded phyllo dough and encased in milk chocolate. Here it is, it's inspired by the Middle Eastern dessert known as Knafen and gained massive popularity on Tik Tok. So, it a trendy chocolate, not a decadent chocolate. Well I'd like to try it sometime, but the variety they had was $23.99, or $4.75 per oz. I asked my husband about getting some and he said way too expensive, but he also said Valentines is coming up, so who knows I may actually get to try some then.

The cafe is great! Try the Undertow - small but SUPER mighty 4oz shot of coffee. Literally take it like a shot! Sooooo good. Get the sausage stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeno peppers - super easy to make. I do it in a small oven/ toaster oven (which is great in the summer to not heat up the house). Great appetizer or with a side to a big salad a few are filling enough for a meal. Their specialty ground sausages are on point! I love a weekend with chorizo con papas (potatoes) - either rolled in tortillas for breakfast burritos or served with an over easy egg in top like a skillet. Don't forget some cheese and salsa!

My new upgrade for stopping through and picking up some breakfast and lunch vittles on the way to work. Food is always good! Lovely price-point. Service is always respectable! Happy employees! And the store has health-food ambiance with a hint of convenience!

Perfect champagne cake with personalized writing

This review is for the amazing bakery! I came in the day of my mother's surprise birthday to pick up her favorite cake (champagne cake) and luckily they had a couple left. I asked for a personalized birthday message on the cake and it came out so cute! Lovely staff and great quality cake. It was a hit! Everyone loved the flavor and the large cake served about 10 people with decent sized slices and one left over for the birthday girl to take home. Thank you Nugget for making my mom's birthday so special!

All I can say is that nugget market can be a bit pricey however if you sign up for their email coupons, you will get their super secret special coupon deals that come out every week. Today's special coupon deal happens to be for a 14.7 ounce jar of Caramia artichoke hearts which is normally $6.98 per jar on super secret special for $.99 per jar (while supplies last). Sign up for the coupons by giving your email. When you check out they will tell you what to do and turn on your PD notifications so that you know when the coupons are emailed to you.

Good, but kind of bland, bagel and egg sandwich

I never thought I'd review a supermarket, but I got a fresh made breakfast sandwich, so why not. First off, a general review of the market. This is the place to go for amazing bread, artisanal cheeses, and delicious bakery goods. If you want luxury items, they have a bevy of options to select from. That goes both ways, though.... "regular" items are overpriced. Over $2 for kraft Mac and cheese, and when I purchases tomato sauce, beef, and some angel hair, I spent about $20....a hefty price for basic spaghetti. Cone here for bougie items, but get your basics from another store. Now then....the sandwich area. I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, pepperjack cheese, and extra cream cheese. The cook was extremely friendly and accommodating, so props for good custom service. Coincidentally, it only cost about $6, comparable to known bagel chains. The bagel was big, good extra amount of cream cheese, but....the eggs, and even the pepperjack cheese, had little flavor. I needed.....ketchup. Definitely will keep coming back for occasional novelty items and good customer service, but probably not for everyday needs

Taco Tuesday $4 each
KC C.

I love my local Nugget Market. The vibe and the energy the moment you walk in. It's clean and vibrant and I would recommend not going there when you're hungry... because everything looks so good. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! Did you know Nugget has a Taco Tuesday? I have been meaning to rave about it but always forget. It's $4 a taco but packed with meat (chicken and pork) I mean it's filled and heavy and the salsa on top of the taco and everything is sooooo good! Worth the $4 if you ask me. The bakery area is one of my favorites with the so many yummy cakes to pick from.

I usually come to this nugget on Friday's for a smoothie. I think I've almost tried all of them by now lol I really like how you can add stuff to it and they don't up charge like crazy like other places for adding protein seeds, turmeric, etc. I usually go in around 730 and the place is always fairly clean and the employees are super helpful. I tried their breakfast burrito and medium roast coffee. They use equator beans. It was absolutely one of the best combos for a great price too thanks nugget.

How early does the deli open?

The store opens at 6 AM every day & I believe the deli hours are at the same time. I've personally ordered a deli tray in advance and picked up the next day at 6am then went to work. I've also popped into the store at about 6:45 AM to get a panini…

Does Nugget sell Japanese milk bread? (Sorry if this is a stupid question...)

Thanks so much for reaching out, Sojiro! I checked with our grocery team, and unfortunately we do not carry Japanese milk bread. We do carry brioche bread, which we believe may be similar. If you have any further questions, we’ll be glad to help.…

Can I purchase a birthday cake using my ebt card here?

Hi there Samantha, you’re welcome to purchase cakes with your EBT card. Thanks so much for reaching out, and we look forward to serving you! Hope you have a fun birthday celebration!

What time does the sandwich bar close? Is it open the same hours as the store?

Yes, I've ordered a sandwich right before they've closed. Try to be polite and not go as late as I did, I felt bad after. They had to cover everything back up..

Do you guy take coffee order on the phone? Thanks

Hi Phuong, we absolutely take phone orders! Simply give us a call at (916) 395-2875 and ask for our coffee bar, and one of our baristas will be happy to help you out. Thanks for being our guest!

Hi I use my EBTcal fresh at the Starbucks in Safeway all the time to get Frappuccinos and was wondering if the nugget excepted Cal fresh to get Frappuccino in there cafe bar?

Hello Lovely, thanks so much for reaching out. Our Coffee Bar does accept EBT. However, per CalFresh guidelines, there are a few exceptions, as EBT will not work for any hot beverages, blended espresso beverages (such as frappes) or nutritional…

The liverwurst was saved by me mixing it with the ham sandwich. Worker was a little lazy and didn't cut the sandwich all the way through on 2 out of the 3 sandwiches and bc the crust is so thick, we ended up ripping one bread awkwardly.
