The kittens were sweet and playful, and for the most part people were respectful, although I did see one grown woman who kept handling cats that clearly did not want to be picked up. They have coffee, snacks, and soft drinks for a recommended donation of $1 per item which was a nice convenience, and plenty of tables, although the main "play" area was pretty crowded. Its $6 for a half hour or $10 for an hour and you can make reservations online beforehand or take your chances that they'll have room for you day of. They give you a buzzer programmed to go off after your time is up which felt a little unnecessary...seems like they could easily just go honors system and just accept that worst case scenario people might stay a couple minutes over. In some ways I wish they had more of a mix of older cats and young kittens because it was NOT a calming environment, with that being said I had a good time hangin with some kitties.

These kids were pretty aggressive with the cats even when they were sleeping on a cat tower, or trying to eat, or trying to hide in a box. At one point a few kids ran after the cats and cornered them in the back room. I was told when I checked in not to pick up the cats because some might've had recent surgery but that didn't stop other adults or children from manhandling some of the kittens. It was busy and I think the staff had their hands full. I'm sure that they care a great deal about the cats. That said, I didn't see anybody redirect the children or the adults with regard to how to best manage the interactions especially as cats scurried away and tried to go into hiding. And when the cats weren't hiding many were sleeping. I would say at least half we're asleep and it's no wonder because they must've been very tired. I simply think the people to cat ratio was simply too high. And when people keep chasing after the cats it doesn't give you much opportunity to let them approach you if you're not inclined to chase after them as well. I left 30 minutes into my one hour appointment.

This is a great date night, it would be a great work activity or it would be a great family outing. I went here on a date. You make a reservation for the appropriate sized room for your group. Since there were just two of us we were in a very small room. When we were let into the room I was concerned that we might kill each other with a baseball bat, but if you're careful that will not happen, I am living proof. So before you get back to your room you pick out the stuff you want to break. They do also let you bring in some of your own stuff to break, although they do limit some of the things you can bring in. They charge a reasonable fee for the stuff you purchased to break. They do have to make money after all. I did bring in some old glassware that was laying around that I didn't need anymore and we also brought in a television set. So once you pick out the stuff you want to break which is really reasonably priced crap that you would find a goodwill, you get suited up in your safety garb. You wear long coveralls, there are goggles, hardhats and gloves. They do not supply boots, but if you have to be told to wear boots when you're going to a place where you're going to be walking all over broken glass well maybe you shouldn't be going. I'm just saying.... Each person gets to take in to weapons. There are different baseball bats, crowbars, mallets, hammers and maybe more items that I cannot remember. The mallet is quite heavy but if you're very, very strong you might enjoy that. So you go in, shut the door and start breaking things. There was a barrel in our room that you could put a glass on and then smash it with the baseball bat or weapon of your choice. They also supplied, for free, a truck tailgate. So if you didn't get out enough of your aggression on the glass things you could wail away on the tailgate. I had a very stressful week so I was not only throwing glasses but breaking them with crowbars and then wailing away on the tailgate. I cannot begin to tell you what a stress relief this was. I highly recommend this. And the people were so friendly. And when you're done you leave and someone cleans up the mess! I can't wait to go back. I think I need a subscription! Maybe they have a punchcards system! Ha ha

It was pretty delightful & the staff were super friendly and interacting with the animals. The CC was started 20 years ago with Al the Alligator! He was dropped off at the Vet clinic and they started CC all around him. Pretty awesome. It's not a massive space so it was perfect to get there at 3:30pm - in time for the 4pm show which is followed by an Al the Alligator feeding! We checked out all the habitats on the outside as well. Super cool experience - I'd love to come back for one of their turtle yoga, 18+ paint nights, etc. They always have pretty cool themed programming. Also follow their social media - they post the best content!

There are a lot of things you can look at without paying such as the Tegu (big looking lizard), an Owl, tortoises, parrots, black swans, muskrat, llama, horses, and one other animal. But if you pay for admission, you can enter their buildings that have lots more animals like sloths on the ceiling, a reindeer, an emu, mongoose, warthog, clouded leopards, a cougar, and a 300 pound alligator! There are many animals inside for sure! General admission is $15 and it's considered a day pass which means you can leave and come back (the lady clarified for us). Kids above 2 are $13 and those 2 and under are free! Loved this place and def coming back!

I would say it's perfect for crawling babies-about 9 years old. There is a baby/toddler only area. The lounge area is set up in a way where it overlooks the play area... with comfy chairs and couches. They have a room you can reserve for birthday parties. They have a cafe which sells coffee, snacks, and kids lunch items like grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, and mac and cheese. I did try a grilled cheese here and was very disappointed! But I had low expectations and it was still something I could eat. It was fairly priced at $3. My friend ordered mac and cheese for her kiddo and it looked creamy and delicious so I will try that next time. The cost for entry is $10 a kid, and it may be kids under a year are free but don't hold me to that. I was able to go in free with my infant and was able to spend some time conversating with a friend who has two toddlers. So it's a great set up where as long as your children behave properly, you can actually have conversations with other adults! If they stayed open until 7 or 8 and had a maximum height limit it would be perfect!
