I ordered the spicy honey bbq and the nuclear garlic wings. I read the reviews and ordered based off of those but I was very disappointed with the wings. The nuclear wings were not spicy at all. It had no flavor whatsoever. The best way to describe it is if you mixed a bunch of paprika powder with a bit of water to get a thick paste and poured it over the wings with some oil. I think Wingstop atomic had more of a kick to it than this even though those are not very spicy either. The spicy honey bbq was very water down. It is just a slight flavor of the honey bbq that you get. Even if the wings are not spicy, I would still expect it to have nice flavor but this did not have either spice or flavor. read more

A solid wing spot with quality food and good service. I order the five piece wings combo which comes with a drink and fries. They have a large variety of wing sauce flavors. The first one that drew my attention was the spicy garlic honey BBQ but I was advised against that flavor (by a Yelp review), so I went with the spicy honey BBQ. The sauce was nice and the wings came with a good amount (it was a thin sauce not very thick). The wings themselves were a good size in the skin had a nice crisp to it. The fries were crisp, well done and nicely seasoned; the type of fries that I would go back and just order without the wings (fries fanatic here!). I came on a holiday weekday, when I got in line there were two people in front of me but it still didn't take long for my order to come out. This establishment does not have a sit-down area, just an order window. The lady at the front counter was friendly informative and very helpful. I think I've found my new favorite wing spot in Tampa. I've been searching for a good wing place in Tampa for awhile and I'm so happy I found this place. Good food with great prices and good customer service. I called ahead of time and the food was ready when I arrived 15min later. They where out of the Italian icee so I'll have to try that next time. I bought 10 of these wings on 1 Mar with their hottest sauce. Meh. The wings are a very good size and most of the flats have the tips attached. The downside of this order was their hottest sauce, which was neither really that hot nor was it tasty. The sauce was pretty thick and that can be ok, but for the most part the sauce was heavy on paprika and light on whatever they use to make it hot. To the point that it just didn't taste hot or good in general. So why 4 stars? They are big wings and they were served pretty quick. What I like most about this place is they cook their wings till the skin is crispy, not sticky or rubbery like some places. I ordered wings and an order of chicken tenders, all of which I saw on their online menu. When I called to place an order, I asked for honey mustard to dip my tenders in and ranch to dip my wings in. The young lady who took my order was nice enough and told me to give them 15-20 mins and my order would be ready. My order was not ready within that time but no big deal, I was happy to wait in my car. After I got home with my order and started opening my food, I noticed the wings was HEAVILY seasoned with red pepper. When I tasted it, it was extremely spicy and salty, but the ranch helped make them better to the taste, so I didn't mind as much. When I opened the tenders, I noticed they were drenched in honey mustard (not on the side like I requested). I thought they maybe gave me the wrong order so I called back & the young lady who answered would not allow me to finish my entire thought before she interrupted to tell me that's just how the tenders come. That they don't put the dipping sauce on the side unless it's specifically requested. I explained to her that I actually did ask for it on the side when I ordered and that as a first time customer, there's no way I would've known this unless it was made clear on the menu or stated when I ordered - which neither happened. Still, she talked as though she didn't understand what my problem was, as if I should've known better, and just completely dismissive. I even asked her if she expects hers to be prepared the same way when she orders elsewhere. She never answered but continued with her point and making it clear that there's nothing they'd be willing to do because they did nothing wrong. This particularly is the reason for the 2 stars. Its one thing to get it wrong with the order but this is no way to handle paying customers. The way you handle an issue makes all the difference and if this is any indication of how they run their business, they have a ways to go.
