Well, the GOOD part of this review is short lived and so let us get right to business. I am going BACK to my original 0 STARS from years ago. When I returned the last time after the 1st. bad review that left behind, there was some improvement and so I was able to leave at least 3 stars but now we are right back at 0 and so let us discuss. I noticed the menu change, which was a good thing, There was less focus on the fried chicken options, actually I did not even see any anymore and more focus on wings, fish sandwiches, burgers and so let us grab up those. Hawaiian Pineapple Wings!! The fries and even. the Mac and Cheese that I read about. Add in some drinks and my bill was roughly $30. I went straight in for the Mac & Cheese which upon first bite was somebody's boxed up pot luck surprise with extra powdered cheese that nobody ever asked for but I received it anyway. This Trash & Cheese was far from cheesy and the elbows weren't thoroughly cooked but the clumps of dried out powder power pellets, left me in a very dark place and even when I tried to stir it, my fork wanted to give up and whatever residue of hope for this disaster, shot out of my driver side window. Moving along to the French fries. The potato itself tasted old and that. probably had to do with old oil; who knows but they were far from fresh fries. The best thing was the salt but the fries were not even good enough for the nearest trash can. We are not doing good at all but let us move along. My Hawaiian Pineapple wings had chunks of what should had been pineapple but looked more like apples that had a flavor of whatever giving up on life as we know it tastes like. Slimy sludge "apple" chunks, putrid and foul in taste and that same yuck butt sauce over my small little wings did not help much at all. The meat was decent, not overcooked but the wings just need some help along the way. I was hoping to see another bump in improvement here but unfortunately, the food fell short. I ordered 10 wings and was told 20min. From previous experience I knew that would not be the case. I went 40min after calling and my order still wasn't ready. The young man was a bit rude with snarky remarks. He told me I would just have to wait because food takes time. This is after I was inside waiting to even be acknowledged. Order the 10 pc BBQ wings with drink and fry. I really think the food is great. Hot and fresh. The French fry's are home made with sea salt not no shoe string fry. It says a lot about the business. One thing to note is they open at 11am but don't start the frylators untill that time so good won't be ready till 11:30-11:45 I would like to see that change and the left side of the counter space area cleaned up and not for a storage space and I think you'll be the top wing place in new haven area. Nice variety of dry rub and wet flavors to choose from. Wings are decent sized. The shrimp are fantastic and def worth ordering. The wings were awesome and customer service is priceless. The server forgot to include a fork for my to go order and when I called to complain. The owner went out his way to deliver me a fork at the tattoo parlor two blocks down. Wow! I was impressed and able to eat my delicious salad with my lemon pepper wings. Nice!!! He is a good Man. I called DoorDash to let them know & they didn't have it so I called Wing Madness and the lady who picked up the phone was so rude and aggressive instead of her just trying to fix the situation she kept arguing she finally said she would just give me the items i was missing ok i thought it was over then she called me back 5 mins later telling me how it's not her fault & she can't do anything about it & how she did her job correctly continuing her rudeness & then hung up on me. The next day i called for a manager to complain and they said the owner wasn't there but i spoke to a manager who took my name and number for a call back cause she was busy and she never called back.
