I hadn't had any wings from this place in over 10 years. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews from different years on this place. It seems as though it was a management problem. Different managers ran this spot different ways and hence the quality either went up or down. So far with me, these are pretty much the best wings I've tasted in years. Have you ever went to a spot for a while and the wings are great, yet after a while when you return it's subpar and it stays that way? That has been my problem on a lot of different spots lately. It seems like you're paying good money for food but yet the quality and quantity doesn't come up to what you've expected. Now, these wings tasted better than any I've had in a while. I don't know how long it will stay that way nor do I know if there will be another management change. I put in an order for 50 wings yesterday and scheduled to be picked up the next day at 12:15pm. My order was ready and still hot. A little minor mistake was made but I won't hold that against them. The wings were good. I asked for all flats but they managed to sneak in a few drums. No big deal. I don't know how long this place will be open. When I went there today, it was only myself and three other people who came and picked up orders. Back in the day, this place usually got a lot of business before game time. I also do notice sometimes when I would pass by in the afternoon, it didn't look as though they were doing too much business. Maybe they get certain streams through the afternoon and at night. I'll start going back a little more often now since football season has started back. Oh and just for the record, 50 wings cost me like $65 total. That price has gone up a hell of a lot since back in the day. read more

I use to love this place. I use to live down the street and it was my go to spot every weekend. I moved 10-15 mins away and I was still coming down to this spot. The wings, the sauce, the quality and burgers WERE immaculate. Today, after not coming here after a couple months, I ordered my usual, expecting the usual. I was about to give this place two stars, but then I realized I have had a worse experience. The location itself, the staff, the service, and the venue was awesome! The cashier was super nice and actually went above and beyond for us. We came here when we saw that they had a groupon. Although there were a handful of people at the bar, it looked like it could get busy on Weekend nights. They have many TV screens and space. The wing sauces were really awesome too. If you like spicy I would highly recommend the cajun sauce and the mango haberno. It has this spicy but slightly sweet taste. However... the wings were dry/overcooked tasting. The lime pepper tasted more like a lemon pepper than a lime pepper. It wasn't bad though and the citrus chipotle was good also, but it tasted more like a sweet bbq. Not what I was expecting, but I am not knocking off stars for that. Just a little sidenote. I would try these wings again, but I have had better. read more

This is always my go to place. I absolutely love it. Unfortunately they have gone under new ownership and the food is starting to change. I used to give it 5 stars all day but I have to go down to 3. The chicken tenders used to be really big and now they are very small. It's getting to where it's not worth the money. I hate it because this is a hidden gem. I stopped by Wing Ranch during lunch one day to place a take out order. I browsed the menu, and quickly noticed a peculiarity. Do they seriously charge extra for most of their sauces? I know of wing places that do charge extra for one or two of their sauces; however, this is due to either premium ingredients or extra prep steps. This frankly did not apply to any of Wing Ranch's sauces. I decided to try lime pepper and extra hot. Wings do not take a very long time to make. If somebody is placing a take out order during lunch, they likely do not have very much time. It is the restaurant's responsibility to properly notify the person if it'll take an unreasonable amount of time. I got irritated and walked up to the counter after 20 minutes had passed, only to see them finally putting together my order. It took 25 minutes from the time printed on my receipt to receive my order, despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't even busy. Did I get a "Sorry for the wait" or even a "Thank you so much for waiting?" No, of course I didn't. I was hoping that the wings would save the experience for me, but I should've known better. I can accept either small wings or overcooked wings, but you insult me when you combine the two. The wings were borderline inedible, saved only by dunking them in ranch. There were absolutely zero redeeming qualities to my experience at Wing Ranch. Maybe their premium sauces are among the best sauces ever, but I certainly won't return to find out. read more

Really just love this place. My friends and I are here at least once a week (Team Trivia on Thursdays, and just found out they do it on Saturday night, too!) and the wings are consistently awesome. Hot mixed with Ranch is my new favorite. Full bar = bonus. Anywhere serving Terrapin on draft is badass in my book, too. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable...which is more than a few places around can say. They know their stuff and the girls behind the bar always have a suggestion. They offer full service but you can order at the counter if you fancy... If you're lucky you'll catch a free beer tasting or live music on a Friday night (always kid friendly)...always a game on one of the TV's, too. Very unfortunate visit I had this week at the place. Ordered a bottle of Miller Light who was brought with an expiration date of end July ‍! I get it the beer won't be "bad" but anywhere you order a Miller Light / purchase one it's a end November shelf life. Not 1 single beer bottle in the establishment that wasn't expired. Ok, not a Huuuge deal, right. Ordered 10 wings. Garlic Parmesan. My friend ordered 10 hot wings and asked for all drums. Wings arrived and he had 3 drums and the rest were flats ‍. I received and even mix and could have cared less but honestly this was the most gross flavor and sloped together wings I have ever had. It tasted like rancid butter . I am actually shocked the waitress deliver this to the table. In regards to my friends request to the order or all drums we asked the waitress and she mentioned they were running low on wings and they would not guarantee you receive all drums or flats. If that would have been said during the time of the Order then no big deal but it wasn't. We never received silverware or a water. Updated Review Something has happened to this place. The last two times I have been my Lemon Pepper has been TOO SALTY! I had to wipe my lips with a wet towel! Yes! It was that salty! To top it off my wings were burnt like cracker crunchy burnt! Ok People, there is a spot between burnt and regular... that spot is where crispy lives! Worst off my fries were spoilt??? Not sure how since I asked for fresh fries but there were certainly a few spoilt and burnt. Sigghhh.... what will I do for wings now??!! Always enjoy my food here. The wings were bland with no flavor, they basically taste like plan fired chicken. We also got the chili cheese fries which were kinda good. Took a visit to wing ranch last week with a groupon deal they still have going on for a get $20 for the price of $10. First impression of these guys are very cool, nice group, who had no problems suggesting their own personal favorites and telling me what I should try. I settled on their 20 piece combo for $20, which comes with a small side of fries, carrots/celery, your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing, and a fountain soda. You can also split the 20 wings into two flavors if you desire, or get all the same flavor. I split mine into 10 lemon pepper wings, and 10 Sweet Red Chili wings. Not done, I asked the staff what sort of side would they recommend between sweet potato wedges, tots or fried okra. I was told to ignore all three and try the freshly made pork skins, which are seasoned with one of several types of a dry spice of your choice, so I definitely ordered those for $4 Positives: The pork skins were as advertised, and not only were they delicious, very light and crispy, but geez you got a lot. Such a bargain! I also enjoyed the flavor of the sweet red chili wings, which aren't spicy at all, but have nice flavor that isn't overpowering in the sweet department Negatives: The size of the wings are a little small for me, and the lemon pepper wings weren't really flavored as i'd like them to be. The restaurant is pretty huge, and I was informed that on Saturdays they have trivia night, so if you love trivia, this may be your place. I really want to give these guys more than 3 stars, because their customer service was great, and some of their products were pretty delicious. It's a good thing the wings are good because the service and ambience and in-house childcare leave something to be desired. Having to chase someone down every time you need something gets old quickly and considering how relatively unbusy they were I would have thought the wings would be hot when they got to the table. The in-house childcare reference is because one.of the employees seemingly had a child there as did a couple at the bar. None.of the parents were very interested in controlling the children. My fiance and I were passing through and needed a quick place to grab dinner. We saw this place on the corner of a strip mall and decided to give it a try. The food was pretty good and it happened to be wing night so we lucked out. We were surprised by how cheap everything was. My fiance and I had dinner for $10. We were blown away! The service was a bit slow and I overheard that there was only one cook working so what would have been a quick dinner took over an hour. There was a Help Wanted sign on the door that I saw when we walked in so I guess that was my warning. The waitresses were very friendly although I do think this place could benefit from a few more. I've been eating here for over 20yrs. Coming from New York, it was hard to find a good wing place. For anyone to say these wings are mediocre and they woukd order from pizza hut are they are crazy. We have dined in and carried out. Dinning in was standard. Not amazing but not bad at all. I do prefer to order Togo which has always gone smoothly. The pricing is pretty good and affordable. I've had lemon pepper before and if it is done correctly there will be a balance between the lemon and pepper. I don't understand the mixed reviews on here. This location has the nicest staff. They call my order out as they bag my to go orders which is nice because every where I go seems to forget half my order. They have great specialty wing flavors and the price is right.
