    Fish tacos
    Debra S.

The food was ok. I got the fish tacos with a side salad. The fish on the tacos was a small portion and didn't seem fresh. The taste was good just would have enjoyed it more with fresh fish. We also got the brisket sandwich. The onion rings.. now those were really good. The place was clean busy and wait staff was very attentive. We were sat right away and a lot of people were there. I will be back if in the area but it didn't impress me.

Uploading some photos from our last visit to Marlow's Tavern. The fries that came with kids menu were my son's favorite. We enjoyed a cheesecake dessert. Their steamed broccoli I got with my panini was fantastic as well as the panini but I'm picky about my vegetables having some flavor. My husband got their roast beef dip sandwich and enjoyed it. Service was great and the ambiance is classical or typical restaurant usually and lunch but we went for dinner so it seemed a little more intimate and quiet with appropriate lighting. This would be a great place for date night as they have such a great menu selection.

First timer only had less than an hour to spare so I tried these happy hour Shrimp and Crab nachos.

    Wagyu burger with chickpea fries

Came to celebrate a friend. The manager was wonderful and willing to accommodate our group of 9 (we called ahead and made a reservation). At first we were seated inside at a high top but it felt too crowded and frankly was really loud inside. It was also freezing inside and that wasn't comfortable. We ended up moving to the covered patio. Both our initial server and final server, Brittany, were wonderful and so helpful. I had the wagyu burger with chickpea fries. First time having chickpea fries but I didn't hate them! They are soft which I didn't expect so the texture may turn some people off. My mom had the brisket grilled cheese and the brisket was amazing! I'd get that next time. Parking: free private lot.

I called in an order to go since it was walking distance from my hotel. Upon entering the restaurant they seemed busy, a good crowd of folks for 8:30 PM. There wasn't anyone to greet me at the door - waiters seemed occupied with their tables. I didn't see a register or take out sign so after a few minutes of awkwardly trying to get a workers attention, I walked towards their kitchen. A few workers were chatting and entering things on the kiosk but none of them came to help me. After another few awkward minutes, a worker behind them finally asked me if I was helped. I had to wait a few minutes but I didn't see anywhere to sit/stand so I was just hanging out by their kitchen. The salad was tasty- crunchy and flavorful. The tavern burger was okay. I had it medium well and it felt a bit heavy and bland towards the last few bites.

I had a terrible experience. I literally called a to go order 10 minutes before. I have a gluten allergy and I know this is one of the places that has a gluten-free menu but when I got there, they said they never got my order and they had to remake it and I was almost late to work and then to make matters worse, they gave me a brownie in my order knowing I have a gluten-free allergy and I asked the manager if this was gluten-free and it wasn't if I didn't ask imagine if I ate that I would've got really sick. I have a deadly gluten-free allergy would not recommend for people to have a gluten-free allergy. It seems like they don't take it seriously

It's been a while since we've eaten here but it was just as good as I remembered. We were seated right away because we were okay to sit on the patio. There were no available tables inside. It was a little warm on the patio at first, then the sun went behind the clouds and it was fine. The food was good as we got a Tavern Burger and the Chicken Panini. But my favorite part was the Honey-Lime vinaigrette on my little salad. Delicious! The prices are good. Our server was very attentive and kept our waters filled. Great visit tonight!

Burger was good just slightly over cooked.

Ordinarily, I love visiting Marlow's. In fact I was excited to go there and enjoy and nice meal. The meal started off good, the host was friendly and showed us to our table promptly. The server came over took our drink order. Still going good, then he brought back the water and spent a lot of time looking for tea bags. He should have let us know they were out and he would have to retrieve them from storage. So we waited and waited and waited for him to return. After 15 min or some time later he arrive with the tea bags but water was cold, so he left again and did not return. He could have asked a team member to step in a bring us water and let us know he would come take our order in a few minutes. But there was no communication after waiting long enough, I asked to speak to manager, her name was Tannie. Not sure if my spelling is correct. I explained we had been waiting some time for tea bags and that my water was cold. I also asked could we have another server because ours was apparently busy. She took our order herself and apologize for the wait. She put our order in it arrived in a reasonable amount of time . Different people brought our food to the table. But after that no one came to check to see if food was as ok, to refill our drinks etc. Also the original server did not even come to the table to apologize and offer an explainstio. I had to find someone to pay the check. Then they charged me for someone else's by mistake. So they had to adjust the bill. It was just a night that was frought with challenges. The food we received taste good. I ordered burger medium, it was medium well. The broccoli was delious. The reason for my score is because the last two visits to Marlows have not met expectations. There was a noticeable difference in the experience and food quality. However, the prices have increased. I would like to recommend this location but it has not delivered on the overall experience for me.

Tuna appetizer out of this world

We love coming here. Our bartender Hunter always has our drinks waiting. If you want the best burger in town this is hands down the best place. They now have beef carpaccio on their menu. Super excited about that. Their wings are fabulous and the tuna appetizer is not to be missed.

The food & beer selection was a nice pick of domestic and draft. Michelob Ultra to Miller Lite to 420 Ipa. I had the chili and burger which they undercooked but it was still good. The jam was added and I couldn't taste it, probably because of the undercooked juice runoff. The service started out at 3/4 empty and a refill was waiting to literally 2 bartenders walking past our empty glasses 10x. Overall it's a nice establishment very close to Gas South Arena. Go Glads

My family of four had a great lunch today, and for the first time in a long while, we all agreed that we loved everything about it! Our server, Christopher, was amazing--he really talked up the fresh ingredients and let us know everything was made in-house, which was impressive. The atmosphere inside had a perfect vibe for enjoying a meal with family or friends, but we chose to sit on the patio, and it was a lovely experience. We tried a variety of dishes, including a non-traditional shrimp and grits, a black and blue burger with fries, the French dip, and a steak salad. While everything was delicious, the black and blue burger was the standout for me--I enjoyed every bite! I even tried a little bit of everyone else's food, and it was all top-notch. This was our first visit, but it won't be our last. I've already downloaded the app and became a member, which gave us a nice deal of $10 off a $30 purchase. With such great food, atmosphere, and service, I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

    Crazy good Shrimp and Grits
    Jeff A.

Its been a minute since we last ate at Marlows Tavern but I have to say their Shrimp & Grits were as good as I remember from my last visit. My wife had the fish tacos and was pleased as well. The star of the show has been and was today their unique white cheddar cheese grit cake, they are IMO incredibly awesome and for anyone that likes grits, its a must try.

One of the best cheeseburgers in the state of Georgia. The truffle fries are also addictive.

Along with that blessing, I find myself being addicted to everything that makes me sick. Life hands you lemons, ya eat it anyway. So imagine my surprise when I dig into a box of fried chicken and don't see grease collecting around the entire box. It can't taste good if it's not greasy, right? I was delightfully proven wrong. The chicken was juicy af. Yes, so juicy I actually said wtf. The meat was tender, the skin was crunchy. And it was like an ASMR session kind of crunchy. I would've recorded the sound but unfortunately I'm allergic to ASMR. I'll be honest, when I first saw 98k Chicken I didn't have high expectations. I thought it would be another Zaxby's, Popeyes, KFC, etc. But they've really set themselves apart! The price is far more reasonable than other chain fried chicken restaurants, the portions are bigger, and the quality of the food is consistently superior. If they're able to keep up with what they're doing, I think this will be a community favorite. Good food speaks for itself, and so do the kind owners that pour their hearts and souls into their businesses. When I go to a fast food restaurant, I barely expect people to look at me in the eye, let alone carry on a conversation with me. But the woman at the counter is actually quite chatty! None of us had ever been before, so we didn't fully know what to expect -- but it ended up being such a memorable Sunday evening. We were able to get the group discount (if you have 15+ guest), and tickets came out to about $57 per person after taxes and fees, which felt reasonable for dinner and a show. We were originally scheduled for January, but had to reschedule due to the two "winter storms" we had -- the process was smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated thanks to Wendy the Group Ticket Rep. We all decided to dress up, which honestly made the experience 10x more fun. If you're planning to going, I highly recommend getting into character. The show was about 1.5 hours long and kept everyone entertained the entire time. Even though our team lost (still a little salty about that ), the energy, cheering, and crowd involvement made it a blast. The food was better than expected! The chicken was surprisingly juicy, and the corn was actually the standout of the meal. Everything was served hot and fresh. Shout out to our Server i believe her name of Melissa or Melanie.
