Okay I have to start out by saying that my 2 son's love this place that is why I ate here. I went to the location at 84th and Federal where a Taco Bell existed for a while. This place is nasty, I have no idea how they could pass a food/health inspection. Based on what I saw I would give them 1 star and I am not a fanatic when it comes to whether a place is sparkling clean. The wings were good and I woke up the next day and I wasn't sick ( the reason for 2 stars ). The wings are kind of small and the sauce was okay. Prices are competitive for what you get so no complaints there. They need to clean this place and develop some cleanliness standards. Don't even think about using the bathrooms !!! We pulled up wings in the North area on our Yelp and this one had been popping up. BW''s got 2 a half stars as well as Wing Cave but the latter has a picture of a hair on thier wings and I cant seem to shake that image in my mind. So this is located in the former Taco Bell facind Federal just north of 84th Ave. We ordered ahead and our order was waiting on the counter when we arrived. There is saeti g available inside but dont expect anything fancy. The short time I was in there things seemed relatively clean. Now to the wings. They were good and typical wings with drumettes and wings and came with celery and ranch or blue cheese. You can order additional sides if youd like as i tried to but they were out of fries. The only thing I wish they had was more sauce My wife and I both ordered 12 wings and she only ate 8. But I finished mine and probably could have knocked off 6 more. All in all it was worth it. Our bill was just under $22 but than he knocked off 10% for being out of fries. So that was a gesture. Definitely will be back read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars based on the good reviews I've read...but haven't actually eaten the wings...because...we recently came in to eat and had to leave due to the horrible sewer smell. They are in an old building, an ancient Taco Bell building I think, but good lord... old sewer smell was overwhelming, topped with the smell of fryer grease. We left but we're bummed. Hey owners...consider a major cleaning & sewer flush-out, or even a new location! You're losing business! The vibe inside was chill and the first thing I saw on the menu was their "dank" sauces! We ordered the 50 + family French fries. Four sauces- bbq, hot, medium, and garlic Parmesan. The amount of fries we got was perfect! Everything tasted fresh and I can say for me was my favorite wing experience in Colorado thus far. The lady on the phone was having a really hard time with this despite us breaking it down for her as mentioned above. It took 5 minutes before she repeated back to us what we wanted. At one point our order was 3 Parmesan garlic and 16 BBQ. Really? I want 19 wings? And where the heck did the BBQ come from? Maybe it was her first day...I will give her the benefit of the doubt. 15 minutes later, as instructed, we arrive and take our wings home. We open the bag aaaaaaand D'OH! the order is wrong! We ended up with 10 Parmesan, 10 golden, 10 hot and 20 bear hot. At this point I was just ready for some wings! The golden hot were by far my favorite. The Parmesan garlic were yummy as well. Wings looked like the chickens they came from had eating disorders - never seen skimpier wings. Taste was decent. They also forgot my fries that everyone in my family heard me order. When I called to ask them about the fries, I spoke to the same person who took my order and she said "Well, I never rung them up...do you want us to make you some fries?" I'm from the northern east coast, and we take wings seriously. I moved out here over the summer and the two things I miss most about the East Coast is Seafood and Buffalo Wings. I consider myself a Proficient Connoisseur of Buffalo wings. There's 4 factors: Sauce, Crisp, Meatiness, and of course, Bleu Cheese. Of all those, Wing Sliders fails terribly. Sauce - I got the 'traditional buffalo' a.k.a. Hot. They're not hot. I'm normally a sweater when I eat spicy food. 3 or 4 true Buffalo wings would have me wiping the back of my neck and my forehead. Going thru a dozen 'hot' wings from Sliders and I didn't even break a sweat. Crisp - Non-Existent! They need to turn their fryers up a couple notches. It's one constant I've noticed around here though, they dont know how to make wings CRIPSY!!! I've been to 8 places out here and so far and only two places has CRISPY wings; Vine Street Pub and Golden Flame Hot Wings... but Vine St Pub cheats! They're lightly battered. Golden Flame seems to know you need hotter oil. Meatiness - They're small. In a good place, that as nice big meaty wings, 8 might do me over. However, a 12 piece from sliders still had me going to the fridge looking for dessert. They're tiny. Bleu Cheese - This is incredibly important!! In short, it's very bland and hardly chunky. Real Bleu Cheese dip would at least have little flakes in it like real Bleu Cheese, yet this is pure white. There's barely any flavor to it. If you dip your finger and try it straight, almost nothing. Blue Cheese Haters could eat this no problem. Bleu Cheese is supposed to counter the heat with a strong mild flavor but I guess since the wings don't have that much flavor, the Bleu Cheese does live up to the unimpressive "hot" wings. I would never order from there again and never suggest my friends do. read more

Well it was good while it lasted! Ordered from this place many times for lunch as I work jus a block away. My order was usually an 18 piece angry pooh bear with large cup extra sauce with celery and ranch! When I got to work my order was missing large cup of sauce and celery was warm like it was sitting out for hours! Now here comes the sad part...my wings tasted overcooked and tasted very different from my last orders I gotten in the past! The oil that my wings were cooked in seemed like it wasn't changed for days..tasted very nasty & wings were dry. Only had two and threw my order in trash. Typically I like this place. I come here often and for the most part have been satisfied with the service and food. But last night I experienced unacceptable service. I ordered 50 piece wings with fries. Now, I normally experience my food coming out in 20 minutes or less. But last night it took them 45 minutes. I watched them put small orders in front of mine, even though they already cooked up my fries.When they finally brought my food to me, my fries were cold so I told them to bring the basket back and to get me new ones. Even though some of my wings weren't hot I decided against bringing those back. I would like to give this place another shot only because I saw 1 empoyee trying. It seems they've since changed it to 20 wings and a drink for $11.99, which is also great. However, I just sent a friend to order 30 wings not knowing of the new structure, thinking it'd be about $15-16 out the door. When my friend got back, he told me it was $27 and he gave a $3 tip making it $30 total. My first thought is, "Let's give these guys a call and see what's up." So I call and ask if they stopped the half price deal, to which they replied "Yes we stopped that and now do 20 wings and a drink for $11.99." I then ask "Hey is there any way we can change our order to 40 wings and 2 drinks, which would still be under the $27 we paid?" The answer I got was "No, we can't do that as we've already started making your order." Then I ask "Would you mind throwing another 10 wings on there, with no drinks?" This time "No sir. We're sorry you didn't think to order differently in the first place. It was $27 and we're giving you 30 wings." Especially since we gave a $3 tip on a takeout order, I just don't understand the attitude and lack of accommodation. Literally still would have been paying more than I should have in any presentation I offered. If this incident is isolated to the woman with a fat tummy/red hair who picked up the phone tonight who was also working the register and acted super rude, I'm sorry wing slingers. Drop that b**** like a bad habit. However if she turned around to ask a manager if it was possible first and got shut down, then you're lucky your wings are so good because you're a trash establishment otherwise. P.S. The woman who normally answers the phone and handles the register (taller, brunette) is a super sweet heart and I want to make sure this doesn't reflect poorly on her at all. I like divey/local wings places, and this place fit the bill, so I was happy I found it tucked off to the side of an empty part of the road. The wings came out after an average wait and were very tasty. I went for their hottest 2, Bear Hot and Angry Pooh Bear Hot. They weren't off the charts in terms of heat, but they were super well flavored. They weren't on the super meaty side either, but I still loved dipping the wings in the excess sauce to sop it all up. I guess it was also my lucky day there, being 1 of a handful of people eating in, because someone called to cancel their order after they were made, and the woman working there was super nice and offered up the wings to us. She even tossed them in some of the extra hot sauce for me to take home. I can understand the reviews of people saying the wings are oily/buttery, but honestly, wings aren't heath food. These may be slightly on the unhealthy side of wings in general, but they're not much worse off than regular wings. read more

The medium buffalo sauce tasted fairly watered down and had a bland flavor overall. The garlic hot were so tasty, the fried mushrooms were perfect, they don't nickel and dime you for ranch and celery, the fries were actually really good too. And the guy at the counter was super nice and humored my son when he asked if the celery was poison and he actually got my son to try some. My family and I went to wing slingers we decided to give it a shot since on Monday they have a good wing deal. As soon you walk in the smell of a dirty kitchen smacks you in the face. BUT HEY we still ordered! We received our food the taste of dirty oil took over my whole food. I don't know if they don't change the oil or they have very poor sanitation but the taste was horrendous. Just as their sign claims, these are some truly dank wings. Every sauce I've tried so far has been unique and tasty. My favorites being Garlic Hot, Golden Hot and Thai. The homemade ranch is super delicious and compliments all the sauces perfectly. I tried their homemade potato chips my 1st visit and unfortunately they were soggy and not done frying but the french fries are always crispy and golden. Best wings around, in my opinion. read more
